Your Campaign Has Stopped

How the scam works:

If you have a small business and use Google Adwords to promote it, you might receive an e-mail (from scammers) informing you that your campaign has stopped running.

In order to resume it, you need to log into your Adwords account. The message provides a link to click in order to log in, but once you do it, you will be redirected to a phishing site, which looks exactly like the real Google Adwords.

How to avoid:

Know when your actual campaign ends. If you don’t remember and receive this e-mail, look at the link provided. Is the domain name the real Google one or does it have a bunch of extra letters and numbers? Finally, if you need to access your Adwords account, just type the domain in the browser; don’t open the links provided.

Make your friends and family aware of this scam by sharing it, using the buttons provided.
