How the scam works:
You've become a junkie for Craigslist, Kijiji and eBay and are always bidding on three different things at a time. Always looking for a great deal, you notice a new service which offers “exclusive items” to certain users. You're told that if you want to have a first look at any items from certain sellers, you can!
All you need to do is pay a monthly membership or one-time fee and your IP will be registered with the company. From then on, every time you open the website, you'll see hot items and you can have first dibs on them. Unfortunately, there is no feature like this on eBay and the money you’re paying is money you're throwing away.

How to avoid the Exclusive Items scam:
Whether is about perfumes, shoes, cosmetics or any other personal items, this one is simple – don't sign up! There are too many fish in the eBay sea to bother with paying money for things like this.
