Has there ever been a scam used with the phone number
201-688-7241?
This telephone SCAM happened to ME yesterday. August 23, 2013. Very Scary- someone calling said they were Special Agent William Wright from DEA in Wash DC – said they had an arrest warrant issued and I would be arrested ASAP. If I didn’t pay $1850.00 to the Dominion Republic for buying illegal RX’s over the Internet in 2008. Said getting an attorney would cost over 4 grand – so it was best to pay the $1800 paying off the Dominion Republic – arrest warrant would be dropped – would not go to jail. phone # called from (202) 241-5693. I asked for what proof he had – went silent then replied he did not have paperwork in front of him. FYI -I have never purchased anything illegally.
