meijer.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives meijer.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to meijer.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning meijer.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between meijer.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of meijer.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of meijer.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. meijer.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether meijer.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether meijer.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, meijer.com.

The cashier who rang me up (Kristine) was rude, impersonal and uncaring. She grabbed my groceries, not very many and just started ringing up as fast as she could. I started to type my mperks number in without her asking me if I had one. However, she rang up so fast, I didn't get my number in time. I said, "Aren't you supposed to ask if I have mperks? I was trying to get my number in and you just ignored me." So Kristine did something to the register and said they're in under her breath. Mind you, it was 6:22:39 am on a Thursday and no other people in line. And store owners wonder why people want to use self checkout, except this Meijer in Michigan City, Indiana had none open and when they are open, 1/3 of the self checkouts are down
Meijer Store #188 Rude cashier-DestinyI understand it was closing time but she was extraordinarily rude and short.
I watched a female cashier yelling hello and at two ladies whom had walked by already and they did not respond , looked like they were talking, but cashier kept yelling hi or hello it was crazy, she was passive aggressive ,I mean the ladies were far enough away that the one had to turn around and say hi,,weather it is aggressive or passive aggressive she looked very very unprofessional, like I said it was odd,, I hope meijer doesn’t think that’s is okay ,,cashier who did this name tag said Lana ,
I have been a loyal customer and pharmacy patient at Meijer for many years, but a recent experience has severely shaken my confidence in their pharmacy services. My experience with the Meijer pharmacy located at 1540 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508, has been nothing short of a nightmare, particularly as a person with ADHD who relies on medication for daily functioning. I am a 32-year-old Electrical Engineer, diagnosed with ADHD in 2018. My life significantly improved after my doctor prescribed Adderall, allowing me to progress in my career from a small company to earning 60% more at a renowned firm. The medication has been crucial in helping me manage my symptoms and excel in my professional responsibilities. Timeline of Incidents: - April 25th, 2024: I called the pharmacy for a refill of my Adderall prescription. Initially told to call back, then informed it would be ready in an hour, only to find out later that no request was on file. - April 26th-27th, 2024: After several calls, I was repeatedly told to call back without any clear reasons. Eventually, I was informed there was an issue with the DEA number. - May 27th, 2024: I faced another round of confusion and insincere apologies when my prescription was once again not filled as promised. - May 28th, 2024: Despite contacting my provider, who empathized with my situation, I was left without my medication until May 30th due to a block placed by the pharmacist. Throughout this period, the lack of communication and the misinformation provided by the pharmacy staff were deeply distressing. As a patient reliant on medication to manage my ADHD, the mishandling of my prescription put me at risk of losing my job and severely affected my well-being. Key Issues: - Miscommunication and False Information: I was repeatedly given incorrect information about the status of my prescription, causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. - Inconsistent Policies: The reasons provided for not filling my prescription varied, with no clear explanation or consistent policy. - Lack of Empathy and Understanding: The pharmacy staff showed a blatant disregard for my condition and the impact of their actions on my health and professional life. This experience has highlighted a severe issue in how Meijer Pharmacy treats patients with disabilities. It feels like bullying, and it is unacceptable for a large corporation to treat people with disabilities this way. There must be change to ensure no one else goes through what I did. Call to Action: - I urge Meijer to address these issues at their pharmacy and implement policies to ensure that no patient is given false information about their medication. - Clear and compassionate communication is essential, especially when dealing with patients who depend on their medication for daily functioning. - An apology from the at-fault pharmacist and the pharmacy would go a long way in restoring my faith in Meijer and would lead me to consider removing this review. Until then, I will continue to share my experience to advocate for everyone with ADHD and fight for change.
terrible to make people get the app to claim rewards. Going boycott meijers store. Have spent ave 1600.00 per month last 25 years. 500,000.00 And let all I know to change store.
Like the store usually zero to complain about, but do not buy the meijer brand cat litter in the 35lb size unless you are prepared to cut the lid off or worse yet possibly cut yourself in the process like I did. The packaging is impossible to open without a razor knife. I've never had this issue until they changed the packaging. I know I'm not the only one with this issue considering I know others who have had the same problem. Meijer if your listening please look into this.
I’ve been to Meijer twice since I returned from a winter in Florida. The Publix grocery stores are the gold standard of customer assistance and helpfulness. They have clearly spoiled me. My visits to Meijer this month have proven to me they have scrapped the bottom of the barrel to get any help at all. 4 people totally ignored my simple questions. Clearly they have talentless people or they have huge labor problems and the customers are caught in the middle.
The bakery stopped putting whipped icing in the donuts. My kids like getting the ring donuts with whipped icing and paw patrol ring in the middle. Now they barely put icing on the donuts and they taste like stale dry bread. The bakery also has shelves empty and workers refuse to look for items in the back because it's "their break time." Then they walk away.
teach your employees to apricate customers, told one guy on the front that i was glad they were there and all he did was grunt, no smile or thank you plus he was sloppy. maybe he should work in the back of the store and not on the front.i got a idea fire the looser mike
Last 5 weeks of app ordering, 5 weeks of one mistake after another. I keep trying, giving benefit of the doubt, but I just keep getting more frustrated by the trip and order. App is in need of several fixes/updates...doesn't tell you prior to pickup full story of what's out of stock or substituted, then out of stock items cause you to pay full price for other items if those items are on sale or part of buy 7, save 7, etc. You can not use paper coupons for app orders, you have no time frame to add to your order, and just try to get a refund on their app. My last trip, I ordered 3-6pks diet coke, received 3-6pks caffeine free diet coke. Returned within 30 minutes to the pickup area, called in to the store and explained the problem. Was told I'd have to bring them in to the service desk for a refund. Does that not defeat the curbside pickup option? After waiting for them to check my order and check availability of stock, askiing if I brought the wrong ones back like that was necessary, they finally came out with what I ordered. I dealt with these same issues with Kroger, and finally gave up with frustration..that was over 2 years ago and haven been a Kroger customer since. Meijer is close to that same decision.
Everything was fine until I went to check out. The girl at the area where you check yourself out was looking at her cell phone the whole time. I finally went over to ask for help since something I was purchasing didn't have a tag. She didn't say 1 word to me even though I spoke to her. I felt thst and her manner was rude. Then she went right back to her cell phone. I was there at around 6:30 at the checkout area nearest to 9th street at the West Main Kalamazoo, Michigan Meijer.
this store has went down hill since new manager has taken over store LIMA ROAD FORT WAYNE IN bath room dirty store not stocked out of every thing
Meijer gas stations, but that moment clerk said they was nothing he could do about the misleading amount of a pack of Winston cigarettes which advertise $8.01 a pack with $1.20 off if you buy two but when I told them I'll take two packs it came to $18 and something, after pointing it out to him he agreed but said there's nothing he can do about it, I disagree I said you can change the price to represent what you're charging I did not buy the cigarettes I left the station
The prices was not were they were supposed to be so poorly ran great choice but the employees are not trained or not smart enough to put the prices in the right place or there was no price at all. The app is the worst. Before you put an app out work it in every direction to make sure it works right. We will never go back.
No tech support, an app that doesn't work, reward points that are inaccessible, and this apparently has been going on for MONTHS. Peoples' mperks points are expiring and they have no way to access them, nor any reimbursement for when they expire despite the problem being on Meijer's end. Disgraceful.
Very sad to see how Meijer scams the consumers on the perks program. I "cashed" in perks and ASSUMED that if I don't use the full amount of the perk i lose the remaining balance of the redeemed perk for that purchase. I guess I should read the 12 pages of all the scammed rules & regulations of the perks program.
Prices are are good but what's the point if you don't deliver to the most vital spots of America. They advertise big as if they can make it happen only to whiff on the most simple delivery locations. If you don't have the resources or power to back you advertising then go back to being a liquor store.
I appreciate their produce and international section but I typically come home missing 1-2 items on my receipt that didn't get bagged. When I call I'm told I can come back for the items which doubles my drive time and extra time in store, customer service line, etc. If it's on my receipt and I call and say it didn't make it home, deliver it. I've spent so much money there for many, many years.
The mperks app is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen you are only allowed to put three receipts in to get points and they make absolutely sure not to tell you that anywhere on the app hoping you add three small ones then when you go and do a big grocery shopping you don’t get any points for it because you didn’t know that and uploaded small ones then you loose out on the big one you can tell it’s a marketing trick because that should be the first thing it tells you is that you only get three a month so don’t upload any small ones wait and only do your three biggest ones per month
It was beautiful and clean, employees were happy and working. I purchased some of the Frederick's chocolate mousse and it was so delicious, creamy just like homemade. We will buy it again😊

“MARVINS IS GETTING REPLACED BY THIS?”

Hello fellow angry Tally Hall fans, and hello everyone who wanted to visit Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum, we'll guess what, it might get closed down and be replace with this grocery store that already has a bad reputation! This freaking sucks especially because for a while I wanted to go visit Michigan because I wanted to go to Marvins. Finding out it might get replaced by this crappy grocery store is making me feel furious!

“NEVER place an online order!”

They won't confirm Your card.and if you place a replacement for an item...they charge you.😡 They charged $64 bucks! For imitation bacon bits! HORRIBLE experience. Spent two hours on the phone...no help. Service Value

“Mislabeled wet true goodness canned dog food”

True goodness canned chicken dog food is labeled chicken, water, other vitamins and minerals, when i opened the can it was filled with rice and did not look or smell like chicken. This could be harmful if your pet was unable to eat grain, i exchanged for a different lot # and ingredients were correct, it has happened several time to me, someone is mislabeling cans wrong, cannot find any phone number to call and keep getting referred to store manager and nothing changes, BUYER BEWARE Products used:same product different lot # Value Returns Quality

“Impossible to order groceries on Meijer.com with android phone”

Trying to order groceries on meijer com is almost impossible most of the time and impossible today. I tried to order groceries today but I can't even get it to a screen with a search option. It's a painstaking process every time. Sometimes it takes me 4 hours to place a small order because the website needs serious revamping and has many glitches in the coding. ALDI.com is much easier to use but I don't really care for ALDI. I've shopped at meijer since the 1990's, but meijer has the worst website I have ever used.

“Obscene Price Increase”

Gato wine has always been $5 because, well, it's not that good, but it's all I can afford. All of a sudden, it's $8! Huge price increase. I knew they were going to do that when they started selling more than usual. It's a crooked business practice.

“MEIJER.COM FAILS AGAIN”

Meijer does NOT care. 1. Two weeks ago I spent over $50 on a Brita water dispenser that was broken upon delivery: Meijer wants me to return the defective item, which would be fine, if I had a car. 2. The website is horrible with nonstop glitches, fails to load the pages fully, and has a generally poor user interface. 3. Meijer takes no responsibility: If there are substitutions on an account that has no substitutions, it's out of their control, because Shipt. If there ARE approved substitutions but Shipt just doesn't get them, it's out of their control, because Shipt. If____ then_____. 4. The consumer is often ping ponged back and forth between Meijer customer service and Shipt. I don't care who did it, Meijer is responsible for the entire experience, and does nothing except give excuses, fails to take responsibility, makes no attempt to make it right, and does not even pretend to be sorry. Today, my order was delivered to NOT ME, and Meijer has done nothing, other than waste my time. Meijer said: "Thank you for your patience, I was able to talk with Shipt who said the order had been delivered. If you have any further questions please call *******537, or if you feel your order may have been stolen, to report it to your local authorities. Is there anything else I could assist you with today?" THE ORDER WAS NOT STOLEN IT WAS DELIVERED TO NOT ME! I CANNOT FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR STOLEN GOODS DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHICH BUILDING THIS IS BUT IT'S NOT MINE. After 2+ hours on the phone with Meijer, Shipt, and Meijer, they finally agreed to give me a refund, which 'may take several business days'. Tip for consumers:MEIJER SUCKS

“Just sucks I'm poor n on food stamp”

I work get food stamps and now Meijer Knapp Street Meijer Grand Rapids Michigan has put a cap on the amount of FS you can use for food SERIOUSLY! I do Delivery is that the case WHY? It says a ton about your customers service which is NOTHING! Products used:Food I'm buying FOOD!!! Service Value Quality

“Service at Meijer.”

12/08/2023 I took my brother to do his monthly shopping at the meijer's on Grand River in Detroit. Only check out that was open were the self check. He had approximately $500 worth of items to go through self checkout. I found the manager to let him know there was a problem only the self check was open and that I had a basket full of items to be checked out, and that was too much to go through self checking. His attitude was self-checking or nothing. I chose nothing. There's a Walmart about the same distance away, that we shopped at before Myers open. We end up going to Myers whose products is a lot cheaper and better service. Service Value Returns

“As usual I am disappointed”

You want to know why people steal your product because look at your prices you need to come down with your prices that's why people starve cuz it's either food or medication we can't survive in this country with these prices with corporate fuking greed. I only come here because of the gift card I received.

“Rotten fruit”

I reluctantly tried ordering a small amount of groceries online, to pick up. I am sick and didn't want to go into the store. Horrible mistake. I like to pick out my own fruits and vegetables but I figured I am pretty safe with pears, oranges and bananas. The pears I received shouldn't even be for sale. Totally unacceptable. I was given rotten fruit! Oranges and bananas were not ripe but I can deal with that. I am surprised how many people order food this way.

“Mad..”

Meijer, Pike Plaza, Disgusted! At register, filling in all blanks to apply for card, 'Then Get' system down. Thank goodness there are other stores, telling friends, self, now only partly shopping At Meijer, remaining Kroger's... Value

“Small complaint!”

I have been a Meijer customer for about 50 years. I raised three kids and Meijer was my "go to" place. Spent a lot of money on groceries, clothes and toys at Christmas. Now I am a widow, kids are grown and gone. I don't like the new buy two or you don't get the advantage of the sale price. Especially with perishables I just can't use and end up throwing spiked food out. This week oranges and grapefruit were 2/$8 but there is no way I can eat all those. Price for one $5.29. Service Value

“Observations!”

I noticed certain books aren't sold at Meijers! There are absolutely no books on the "right wing" view point!…I also noticed nothing, like Santa, Christmas related. I order for my work location, and let the customer decide. I don't want Meijers to decide my religious and political view for me! Meijers, you lost another customer! Products used:I now buy as much, as possible, from other stores. Service Value Returns Quality

“Worst customer service Louisville Ky Preston Hwy”

One cashier Friday 3:00 person in charge of self serve huffy stuffy Jonathan S got his panties in a wad because an elderly gentleman couldn't operate it. I ask for mgr several times from other employees no one knew where to locate one hmmmm Service Value

“Going downhill”

They're no longer the main artery. Their website is garbage. They did away with systems (tech) so their app is useless, outside of making a simple shopping list. Items regularly show as out of stock or in-stock when they aren't. The poor workers get the earful when you can't find anything including a sale item. No option to leave a product review online. Digital coupons and mperks don't work or are down half the time. Place has gone downhill in a handbag. Tip for consumers:Enter at own risk. Very poorly maintained (see my review) Products used:Website, mperks app Service Value Returns

“Lack of product”

I come into Meijer only to once again find a limited selection of cottage cheese and frozen vegetables. Then I go through a cashier maned isle to have the bags at the end of the cashier stand pointed out. I'm trying to bag my own groceries, enter my M perks when the rude person behind me pushes my cart out of their way and knocked my wallet purse and credit card off on to the floor. I think I will be shopping at Aldi a lot more. Meijer, premium prices for subpar service. Tip for consumers:Must be you bag your own stuff every where now Products used:All of it Service Value Quality

“False Advertising”

I went to purchase a few loose cans of Fosters which are currently advertised at $2.49/can. You have NONE of these in stock, so why are you advertising that you do? I'd "include proof of purchase" but - huh. Could not purchase any of these, because you DON'T HAVE THEM.

“Worst Pork Loin Ever”

Have been buying pick loin at Meijer for a number of years. Bought one last week that was the worst ever...totally devoid of any flavor and very tough meat - like shoe leather. Coupled with the crappy quality of produce, this mY help me make the decision to finally move on from Meijer. They continue to raise prices and reduce quality. Don't Evidently care about the customer. Service Value Quality

“Meijer Just Lost A Customer”

Since the registers shut down automatically at 12 midnight, I was unable to check out, being a few minutes after, even though I was in the store before that. They would not open a regular register to check me out. I don't know if they could, but it should be possible or they should keep register open until customers all get checked. I'm not going back any time soon. I have bought lots of groceries there for a long time. I'll get another store now. The supervisor felt the need to keep reminding me that they had made numerous announcements. This was not polite. Products used:None this time because they wouldn't let me check out just past midnight. I had to leave my things. Service Value Quality

“Truck Driver JAY Call Me”

Jay, the trucker in Lafayette Indiana, call me *******440. Ask for Mark. Meijer in Lafayette booted me too. $1000.00 to let me leave their property. I bought groceries there. The three thugs who booted my truck claim to be out of Sheridan, Wyoming. They are running an extortion campaign. They are pocketing thousands of dollars a night when Meijer and WalMart are closed.

“Check you receipts”

It has happened several times sale price does not register, Meijer was a awesome place at one time there customer service is awful last three times I went they were rude & some employees should not be working there period. Don't know if I will be going back to Bolingbrook Illinois Meijer. Thought I would try again. There was a older lady that purchased spaghetti sauce from a shelf that had sale on it (also saw it) she bought 4 red one white same brand, they over charged her, she was in front of me at customer service, customer service lady said loudly said the white is not on sale customer said why is it stocked with it then no other price. Well I want my money back then, customer service lady told her well you can bring it back next time you come, older lady said there won't be any next time I won't be back, customer service said fine loudly. I tried to get a rain check because they were out of stock of pot pie that was on sale she told me come back tomorrow they restock I said what sale end today she said oh. No I can't give you a rain check. I then told her what the hell I won't be back this store is going down hill this was on 2-11-23 early afternoon they better improve I heard several people complaining in check out

“Roblox card”

I bought a roblox card for my grand daughter for Christmas put the card number in and it said invalid. I bought the card from them which was 25 and I have my receipt and the said contact roblox but I bought it from them. I really don't shop here the only reason I shopped there is because my job gave me a gift card. Tip for consumers:Don't buy a roblox card from meijer If it doesn't work you'll be out of money! Service Value Returns Quality

“Fitting rooms”

Hey let's sell clothes and close the fitting rooms permanently! I don't know if this is company wide but the one in lapeer mi closed the fitting rooms permanently. Let's make everyone come back to return clothes that don't fit! Way to drum up business meijer! Even good will and salvation army have fitting rooms! Ridiculous!

“Cashier stole my identity…Brighton Mi”

December 2022, Brighton MI Meijer Store I used my credit card to pay, did you know your name comes up on the cashiers screen, I didn't until a creepy guy started texting my cell phone. He introduced himself as a cashier at Meijer, I did not respond so he started calling me. I called the Brighton store, asked for the manager, told him what was happening, he said "nothing I can do about it, it didn't happen in the store. More I could say about it instead I will just say beware of Meijer cashiers stealing your identity. I WILL NEVER SHOP at Meijer AGAIN! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“THOMAS IS AN AMAZING MAN”

I haven't had such an amazing time shopping at a store in my entire life. We decided to get a new flat screen and a tv stand for it and we wheeled it up front to the check out. A very polite man by the name of Thomas came and helped us along! He didn't just help wheel it out he stayed with us to make sure we got it in the vehicle and helped! 10/10 amazing service and great dude all around. If yer ever in lancaster ohio at meijers and see Thomas make sure to give this man a good pat on the back.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below. button remove data online

How To Protect Your Online Browsing From Installing Malware

We have two more powerful fraud prevention tools that you should know about. We've been asked over and over again about the most effective ways to stay safe online. After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.

For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below. stop third parties to track my device button

Are You the Owner of meijer.com?

If you own meijer.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).
