This review is for the customer service. Ordered 2 products, as soon as the confirmation came I saw one was an incorrect size, even though I had checked the sizes before I submitted the order. The order had not been sent so called customer service and spoke to a young woman who did not speak very good English. There were children in the background. She was very rude and told me the order could not be changed even though it had not yet been sent, then she cut me off. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE!!
Bought a microwave online which stopped working after 2 days. Customer support was as useless as it could possibly be. Olympic gold medal useless. Provided no help, didn’t know their own returns policy, just stopped answering my emails and completely ignored me. Would never ever buy anything from Kmart. Bad beyond belief and totally ignorant.
I ordered a Keurig coffeemaker on 6-16-24 that I never received . Of course I was charged for it. Sent an online inquiry...they gave a fake email.2 1/2 months later....😡I have not been able to contact ANYONE by phone or otherwise.I believe Kmart.com is a huge scam.

I went in this afternoon to Nelson branch to exchange some tops for little miss fussy 12. We got tops she wanted, went to returns counter with our previous purchase, tickets intact, original receipt. But did not have original card, which I explained was happy to exchange. The older lady behind the returns desk I felt was really rude. She was adamant that I needed the original card, which again I explained was happy exchanging, she said well you'll have to have a voucher.i said yes an exchange voucher.she said we don't do exchange vouchers. I ordered a carseat. It was Kmart marketplace seller. I was supposed to receive it last Monday, but didn't. No way to speak to an actual person at Kmart. No response from Ebuzz (market place seller). Bought something online got the tracking number no one seems to know where my item is I get stuff from over seas quicker
It was pretty hassle free. Enjoyed variety if goods. Bought earphones to replace overpriced and useless noel leeming wireless ones. Came back the next day. Bought beach swag, inexpensive. Better quality than wharehouse. Only reason mist a star is cause the websites tellkmart is iffie.
Kmart Manukau disgraceful service. New store should at least have staff that provide customer service with care. The first attendant said he didn't know what swimming togs were after describing to him several times, he simply didn't care. The checkout attendant was even more unhelpful unable to confirm whether the store took Zip or Afterpay. When I got home with my purchase it still had the security tags on them...that was after my receipt was scanned by the store security. At the very minimum, staff need to learn the systems to be able to provide good customer service with care.
The worst customer service ever! I've been trying to get a refund for a faulty vac that was purchased online since 18/6/23 - so for 2 1/2 months now. Live chat is useless - they disconnect before you can finish responding. RUDE!! The blurb you have to listen to while you wait for someone to answer your call contradicts the way they actually treat their customers. Shame on you Kmart!
Ordered a trampoline a few weeks ago for 3 young boys for Easter. It has arrived today and is missing half of the parts. Lodged a complaint straight away and was told someone would call back or I can drive to a kmart (2hour trip) to get the parts. No indication on which kmart would have them. Tried calling two kmarts and it is just ringing out even though they are open to 9pm. I spent over $100 in delivery and having to run around because someone didn't do their job and check the stock before either 1/ not checking all parts from a prior return and 2/ not checking the items were in the box prior to dispatching the stock. I hope this is rectified asap- I would expect a new trampoline is delivered tomorrow given the circumstances.

Consistently crap! I ordered some bamboo drawers for my toddlers bedroom to be delivered and it turned up 3 weeks later…with 1 out of 8 drawers that actually fit. The 7 other drawers are obviously for another piece of furniture like a bedside table as they are half the size they neee to be. After going back and forth with Kmart and no outcome; they refuse to send me the 7 drawers I need to actually use the drawers! So basically I have an empty drawer frame and one drawer to use

“100% cotton clothing - cheap.”
So many stores have closed. Kmart carries 100% cotton clothing at exceptionally reasonable prices. Since I cannot find a store near me, shopping online has been a godsend. Once you have purchased any of their own line, you can count on the sizing to be universal. With people today seeing cotton, this is the place.
“Love it!”
Wish there were more stores in my area. Really like their children's clothes, gardening department and house wears, toys, party supplies, accessories, shoes. The interior staff is usually really friendly and will go to great length to be helpful.

Kmart in Indianapolis Washington street needs to be closed. There is never more than one line open yet tons of employees standing around. Then they advertise a sale item and when it doesn't ring up right they claim it's not the right item even when you pull the tag from the shelf to show them. Lazy lazy lazy. No wonder all their stores are being shut down.

I used to love Kmart, but I can honestly see why they are losing ground. Their prices are no longer competitive with other stores and their shelves are often empty or bare of advertised items. Really has declined in the past 10 years.

Most their clothes were a cheap fabric, but were fairly paired with cheap prices- most unlike many other stores (Target & Macy's clothes aged just as quickly, but were double and triple the price).

The staffs are very rude there. I went shopping for a specific product yesterday and asked the staff where it is. It was simply a question "Are you a staff member of Kmart?" and they didn't even bother to answer vocally and just pointed at the logo on their shirt. Tried to buy a belt no one else has there inventory say 3 on hand another store says 5 on hand, i traveled far to both of these stores to find they both have 0 on hand i dont know who runs loss prevention but now i see why this company fails soo dearly. “This is Target's ghetto step child”
Kmart has been in decline for years. Their stores are dirty and run-down, and they never have any good electronics. Everything seems generic and none of the employees seem happy or helpful. The isles are usually disorganized or missing large sections of merchandise. I rarely go to these stores anymore.

I tried to order a diaper bag and after calling the verification number my order was cancelled because I could not verify what county I live in in a different state when I was 8 years old completely ridiculous. My friend and I were testing out skateboards that we were about to buy. Lady that works here yelled at us so we didn't buy them. Not coming here for my things.
