Is kmart.com Legit?

This review is for the customer service. Ordered 2 products, as soon as the confirmation came I saw one was an incorrect size, even though I had checked the sizes before I submitted the order. The order had not been sent so called customer service and spoke to a young woman who did not speak very good English. There were children in the background. She was very rude and told me the order could not be changed even though it had not yet been sent, then she cut me off. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE!!

Bought a microwave online which stopped working after 2 days. Customer support was as useless as it could possibly be. Olympic gold medal useless. Provided no help, didn’t know their own returns policy, just stopped answering my emails and completely ignored me. Would never ever buy anything from Kmart. Bad beyond belief and totally ignorant.

I ordered a Keurig coffeemaker on 6-16-24 that I never received . Of course I was charged for it. Sent an online inquiry...they gave a fake email.2 1/2 months later....😡I have not been able to contact ANYONE by phone or otherwise.I believe Kmart.com is a huge scam.

Just went shopping at Kmart Palmerston north and certainly not happy with customer help desk. I had trouble trying to find a product and they weren’t that bothered to see if it was in store or not. Not very helpful at all.

Had a great experience from Diane at Kmart Papanui branch. She sorted out an issue quick and smart she's a pristine staff member was taken aback how onto her job she is. Had to mention as she really puts herself out to keep the customers happy, she deserves a pay rise very hard worker Diane, thank you.

I stopped shopping at kmart for years because of stock availability, every time I make an order and checkout somethings not available then I have to go back through my long list and find substitutes or just remove it. I finally shop again and I'm getting refund because stock not available!!!! omg kmart will you ever get better? I had to cancel my whole order and not buying form you for another few more years. I went in this afternoon to Nelson branch to exchange some tops for little miss fussy 12. We got tops she wanted, went to returns counter with our previous purchase, tickets intact, original receipt. But did not have original card, which I explained was happy to exchange. The older lady behind the returns desk I felt was really rude. She was adamant that I needed the original card, which again I explained was happy exchanging, she said well you'll have to have a voucher.i said yes an exchange voucher.she said we don't do exchange vouchers. I just felt belittled and walked out feeling rather defeated. I shop there all the time and have always walked out happy and wanting to return. I don't usually complain, but just felt the customer service was very off!

Such disgraceful service and customer service. I gave the will to exist trying to get through to customer service at Kmart Henderson, after 48 minutes waiting on the phone and after I had been refused a refund for a faulty item at Kmart St Lukes, as policy is you don't do refunds for bedding, that is faulty!!! Terrible service and a very dishonest transaction for my child who is new to flatting and buying her own things to make her home nice. Shame on you !!!

I ordered a carseat. It was Kmart marketplace seller. I was supposed to receive it last Monday, but didn't. No way to speak to an actual person at Kmart. No response from Ebuzz (market place seller). No response from messages left on order page. In short, no customer service from any parties involved.

Faulty product. Wok's have non-stick coatings peeling off. Asked for replacement. They said they processed refund. No refund received. Follow up going no where. They keep saying refund issued. Check with your bank

Bought something online got the tracking number no one seems to know where my item is I get stuff from over seas quicker

It was pretty hassle free. Enjoyed variety if goods. Bought earphones to replace overpriced and useless noel leeming wireless ones. Came back the next day. Bought beach swag, inexpensive. Better quality than wharehouse. Only reason mist a star is cause the websites tellkmart is iffie.

Kmart Manukau disgraceful service. New store should at least have staff that provide customer service with care. The first attendant said he didn't know what swimming togs were after describing to him several times, he simply didn't care. The checkout attendant was even more unhelpful unable to confirm whether the store took Zip or Afterpay. When I got home with my purchase it still had the security tags on them...that was after my receipt was scanned by the store security. At the very minimum, staff need to learn the systems to be able to provide good customer service with care.

The worst customer service ever! I've been trying to get a refund for a faulty vac that was purchased online since 18/6/23 - so for 2 1/2 months now. Live chat is useless - they disconnect before you can finish responding. RUDE!! The blurb you have to listen to while you wait for someone to answer your call contradicts the way they actually treat their customers. Shame on you Kmart!

Ordered a trampoline a few weeks ago for 3 young boys for Easter. It has arrived today and is missing half of the parts. Lodged a complaint straight away and was told someone would call back or I can drive to a kmart (2hour trip) to get the parts. No indication on which kmart would have them. Tried calling two kmarts and it is just ringing out even though they are open to 9pm. I spent over $100 in delivery and having to run around because someone didn't do their job and check the stock before either 1/ not checking all parts from a prior return and 2/ not checking the items were in the box prior to dispatching the stock. I hope this is rectified asap- I would expect a new trampoline is delivered tomorrow given the circumstances.

Absolutely disgraceful lack of (no) customer service. Several attempts made to contact Kmart and no luck any way. Message, phone, email or sms. Totally ignored and even hung up on! Such a shame because I like Kmart products however customer service is everything and Kmart has none. I'm still waiting on 2 orders to delivered. I gave them 1 star because I couldn't give them 0.

Consistently crap! I ordered some bamboo drawers for my toddlers bedroom to be delivered and it turned up 3 weeks later…with 1 out of 8 drawers that actually fit. The 7 other drawers are obviously for another piece of furniture like a bedside table as they are half the size they neee to be. After going back and forth with Kmart and no outcome; they refuse to send me the 7 drawers I need to actually use the drawers! So basically I have an empty drawer frame and one drawer to use

“100% cotton clothing - cheap.”

So many stores have closed. Kmart carries 100% cotton clothing at exceptionally reasonable prices. Since I cannot find a store near me, shopping online has been a godsend. Once you have purchased any of their own line, you can count on the sizing to be universal. With people today seeing cotton, this is the place.

“Love it!”

Wish there were more stores in my area. Really like their children's clothes, gardening department and house wears, toys, party supplies, accessories, shoes. The interior staff is usually really friendly and will go to great length to be helpful.

“Incompetent lazy employees”

Kmart in Indianapolis Washington street needs to be closed. There is never more than one line open yet tons of employees standing around. Then they advertise a sale item and when it doesn't ring up right they claim it's not the right item even when you pull the tag from the shelf to show them. Lazy lazy lazy. No wonder all their stores are being shut down.

“Over-priced”

I used to love Kmart, but I can honestly see why they are losing ground. Their prices are no longer competitive with other stores and their shelves are often empty or bare of advertised items. Really has declined in the past 10 years.

I have walked out before while waiting to checkout when lines moved unbearably slowly due to language challenges, pricing issues, crowds etc. Usually sufficient parking but that does not justify the crowds and very slow checkout service.

“Excellent”

Unfortunately, the Kmart in my area shut down. However, until the end they had high quality goods for great prices. Bought a sand-which maker practically years ago and still works now. Most their clothes were a cheap fabric, but were fairly paired with cheap prices- most unlike many other stores (Target & Macy's clothes aged just as quickly, but were double and triple the price).

“Rude staff, Poor service”

The staffs are very rude there. I went shopping for a specific product yesterday and asked the staff where it is. It was simply a question "Are you a staff member of Kmart?" and they didn't even bother to answer vocally and just pointed at the logo on their shirt. I'm offended, as if they are saying Are you blind? Can't you see the logo on my shirt or something? As well as the second staff, not friendly at all. No smiling, just frowning. When I politely asked them if they sell any bags here, they just replied "No" rudely and walked away. Do you call this service? “Stinks”

Tried to buy a belt no one else has there inventory say 3 on hand another store says 5 on hand, i traveled far to both of these stores to find they both have 0 on hand i dont know who runs loss prevention but now i see why this company fails soo dearly. Plus kmart.com says they have it but yet cannot produce nor send the right belt. Kmart sucks!

“This is Target's ghetto step child”

Kmart has been in decline for years. Their stores are dirty and run-down, and they never have any good electronics. Everything seems generic and none of the employees seem happy or helpful. The isles are usually disorganized or missing large sections of merchandise. I rarely go to these stores anymore.

“Terrible online experience.”

I tried to order a diaper bag and after calling the verification number my order was cancelled because I could not verify what county I live in in a different state when I was 8 years old completely ridiculous. If I verify my card that's all that should matter. I was also on hold for 20 mins just to be told there was nothing I could do other then reorder it. Never using Kmart again.

I have ordered boots two times in the last year from kmart.com both times the orders were messed up getting the wrong size or not getting my product at all when you talk to a customer service representative they can't even speak fluent English this is the last time I will order anything from kmart.com they're a joke

Absolutely the worst of the worst if that's at all possible. kmart.com hiding behind sears. Com will offer nothing but fall-apart defective stuff. Returned items 3 times and will never shop there again. By the way... all their merchandise has a sears address. Awful.

“Overpriced”

I remember when they used to have reasonable prices. Now it's a wannabe Walmart with high prices. I have one near where I live and I hate even walking in there. The employees are rude, ignorant and make you stand in line a long time while they're B.S.ing with each other. One cashier sent me to another register to cash out only there was nobody there to wait on me. I waited a few minutes then walked out.

I recently ordered a TV off of Kmart.com. I was very pleased at how low the price was, until my order disappeared. When I contacted them, they informed me that it was a pricing error. Ok that's fine, mistakes happen. But when I asked for a refund they said they were going to hold onto my money for a whole week. I do not see how that is an acceptable business policy. Nor do i see how it is logical, reasonable or morally acceptable. They refused to do anything in the way of recompense. “Rude”

My friend and I were testing out skateboards that we were about to buy. Lady that works here yelled at us so we didn't buy them. Not coming here for my things. My friend also had bought one from here, she will now be returning it as soon as possible. I loved Kmart but now this upset me and put me in a very bad mood. Bad service today.

“The result of not being able to position yourself in the market”

Kmart's product assortment leaves much to be desired, and yes I know they have national brands. Maybe its simply because the stores are run-down, dreary and the employees look tired, uninspired, they're not friendly and little to no service. I feel embarrassed to shop in Kmart stores.

Kmart is the worst place to shop unless you don't mind standing in line. There are never enough cashiers for the number of customers who want to check out. The cashiers that ARE on duty are poorly trained and frequently have to call for assistance from their never-present supervisors.

“Thumbs Down”

Kmart is not the store it used to be. The cashiers are so slow sometimes I just leave my basket and go elsewhere. No one is ever around to help you and even the manager is busy talking to friends laughing while customers fume.The lack of products they carry are easily found elsewhere as well so I do not bother with this store anymore. Believe me I tried and tried but the lack of customer service is just unreal.

I used to like Kmart and I still do but since they have closed the ones that are closest to me I no longer have one to go to. I need something in town besides Walmart. They went down as soon as they hooked up with Sears. I could of told you this was a bad move.

I ordered 5 fairy solar lights because my local Kmart was out (I did buy the last one). Kmart sent me 3 gnome solar lights, by intent, as they hoped I would accept the substitute. Excuse me! They did not communicate with me; they just did it. AND it turns out they did that because they shipped my order from local stores, who, of course, did not have any fairy solar lights! Really? How stupid and unprofessional is that? Yes, I will get a refund, but WHY? So disappointed and appalled. They may have lost of all of my business.

If your looking for a baby doll that looks like a real baby with pretty features-Kmart is your store. Your recipient will be a happy girl! And that's what it's all about. The smile on her little face.

Not every family can afford top dollar items for their children or home. As a mother of 6, I find the prices at Kmart amazing. With the speed in which my children grow or wear out their clothes, Kmart offer cheap replacements. Not only cheap but I find the quality to be excellent also. I highly recommend Kmart.

I could stay here for hours! So cheap. Great variety! Lovit! I absolutely recommend this store to all. However the new set up in Hastings NZ, is just not the go. Why have checkouts in the middle of a shop?

“Horrible experience”

Ordered a pair of slippers and received a baby product. Had to do an online chat to get the issue fixed. They refunded the shipping charges and placed an order to send the slippers. Finally received the slippers they're the wrong size (xl instead of l) and have a clearance tag for less than what I paid. I won't order from them again.
