gunnergear.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives gunnergear.com a medium trust score on the platform: 50.90. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial..

We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 50.90 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to gunnergear.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above.

Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning gunnergear.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between gunnergear.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of gunnergear.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of gunnergear.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below.

A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns.

gunnergear.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether gunnergear.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether gunnergear.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, gunnergear.com.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.

Are You the Owner of gunnergear.com?

If you own gunnergear.com, we would love to hear from you. However, if you would like to challenge this review and trust score, we are more than willing to take a deeper look, but be prepared to offer solid proof of your business. Please introduce yourself first (your name, not "Admin"). Consumers are smart. Typically, they don't trust websites that don't show transparency, such as the location of the business, team, or any other physical existence.

When domain owners contact us to challenge the trust score of their website on our website Validator, we would kindly ask them to share some of the following things:
* Details from their ecosystem that would show that they are 100% trustworthy (certificate of incorporation, business registration, official records showing the name of the website or business, etc.).
* Their personal profile on LinkedIn and social media accounts for the business on Facebook.
* If possible, some screenshots/proof of satisfied clients (not testimonials on their website), proof of inventory, canceling orders when requested, etc.).

We are more than willing to update the review right away—the more proof you show, the higher the trust score will be.

  1. After reading the negative reviews here, I would almost think they are for another company.
I have placed 5 orders with Gunner Gear and have been delighted with them. Here are my reasons.
First, the items I have ordered have been top quality. Much better than I expected.
Second, the prices are very reasonable.
Next is customer service. I have had a couple of questions and issues and they were handled quickly. Service is top notch.
Shipping has always been quick and packaging well done.

Gunner Gear is now my number one stop for tactical gear.

Keep up the good work John

  2. Only a fool would call a side opening knife a switchblade.
John Davis convinced me to not buy from fools.
He needs to close his woke snowflake handbook of re-definition, and come back to the real world.

      1. I ordered an ad for a free stun gun. Your company also charged me for a knife and baton which I did not order. I’ve sent multiple emails and called several times. Do you ever answer the phone or reply to emails? Please cancel those or the entire order.

        1. Hey Ryan,

I apologize for the delay and confusion while ordering. In order to offer free promotions we need to show additional deals to recoup the lost revenue. These additional offers are all optional at time of checkout and are not required.

If you haven’t already please email us at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of right away. Our business hours are 9-5 EST Monday through Friday.

  4. I have ordered 2 different items from Gunner Gear – the first was the Black Widow switchblade, which is exactly as advertised – no complaints! The second item was the Pearl Stiletto switchblade – this item is a standard pocket knife, fully manual, no “switch” to operate the blade – so I wrote to the company to explain that they advertise a “switchblade” but that is 100% incorrect. They wrote back telling me that I needed to do more research! I, again, explained the false advertising and ‘bait-and-switch’ that they had used to deceive me (and who knows how many others) – they simply told me to ship the item back (at MY expense) and they would reimburse me – as of now they STILL advertise this standard pocket knife as a “switchblade”, with no concern for the consumer!

    1. Hey Scott,

Our Pearl Stiletto is an Italian switchblade, they are commonly and popularly referred to as stilettos but are by definition side-opening switchblades. There is no false advertising or ‘bait-and-switch’ as you call it. If you are not happy with the product you are welcome to return it for a full refund.

      Thank you!
      John Davis
      Owner & Founder

      1. WOW! You sound like your customer service rep! You call it a “switchblade” – there is NO SWITCH, therefore it is NOT a switchblade and it IS a “bait-and-switch” as I call it – you continue to advertise it as a switchblade, therefore it is also false advertising! It’s unfortunate that your company can not admit to this and make good on it! You tell me to return it for a full refund, but no one has provided a return slip – I am NOT paying to return this item!

          1. *YAWN*
Please do some research on FALSE ADVERTISING!
And maybe look into customer service as well……
No need to reply again – I hear you loud and clear – bottom line is you’re not interested in my patronage…. or that of my family or friends or followers….. all good! Sadly, based on most reviews I’ve seen regarding your company, you can’t afford to lose any business!
            Keep on scammin’!!!

  5. Ordered 2 Black Ops Laser sights on 9/16/22. I got an order # and was billed on 9/17/22. On 10/3 I put the transaction in dispute an have sent 3 emails and have made several call to their 888# without getting a human response. As far as I’m concerned, this company ,”promises Arpege and delivers horseshit

    1. Hello Robert,

Our customer service team has been going back and forth with you for some time. The package was returned to sender. Once we were notified we tried to issue a full refund but were unable to because Robert opened a dispute with his bank. We are now in the process of fighting this dispute.

  6. Same here guys. Site has been down for maintenance. (I don’t know how long it’s been down, but I’ve been checking now for three weeks) The fake-ass phone number on the sales page is bogus:
    Got Questions?
    Call Us at 844-486-4897
Tracking number is fake. Goes nowhere. They told me that the USPS sent it back because of a problem with my address…
A problem that no one else seems to have.

    1. Hello Disappointed,

Our site was down for maintenance and is back up now after our redesign! We also got a new customer service number, the one you listed is our old number that we no longer have. When a package is sent back we issue a full refund. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.

      Thank you!
