beachbody.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives beachbody.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 92.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Trustworthy. Quality. Safe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this high score? We came up with the 92.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to beachbody.com's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Trustworthy. Quality. Safe. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning beachbody.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between beachbody.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of beachbody.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of beachbody.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. beachbody.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether beachbody.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether beachbody.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, beachbody.com.

9-9-24 Terrible customer service! Even after cancelling and not using program for 2 years was recently charged 179.00 for a membership spoke to customer service and they would not refund the 179.00. I have cancelled twice and continue to be charged. Dont subscribe you will never get out of it!!!
Paid £159 for what I thought was an annual subscription. 4 weeks in there is another 2 payment pending to come out of my account. Tried getting in touch and don’t want to cancel anything until I hear back but it’s quite worrying
Terrible customer service! Refuse to refund you even though membership has been cancelled before the renewal date! Would never use again and highly recommend other not to use
Terrible customer service, programs do not have results, all “coaches” have had extreme work done to make their bodies look they way they do. If you try to cancel they will charge your card anyway and refuse to refund you.
What everyone says is true. They renew your annual membership without notice and won't give you a refund. I called them the day the payment went through and they said they were not allowed to process a refund. They could take away my access for the next year if I wanted them to, but they would not give me my money back. Terrible policy.UPDATE! Upon seeing the company reply to everyone's claims, I looked carefully at every email they sent me the past month. Low and behold, at the bottom of a 500+ word advertising email with NOTHING about renewal in the subject line or first 400 words, they HID the renewal notice that they claim to so clearly give you in advance. What a load of BS.
Started 14 day free trial 4/8/24 which was cancelled 10/8/24 with the full intentions of starting a monthly subscription after the free trial ended. £179 was taken from my account on 17/8/24, before the free trial ended and after I had already cancelled the annual subscription. Tried calling customer services however the number used is no longer in service. Emailed customer services requesting a refund where I received a response assuring that the subscription had been cancelled and I would not be charged. After sending a second message stating the bank has confirmed that funds were taken by beachbody after I had cancelled the subscription within the 14 day free trial they are still refusing to issue a refund. The bank attempted a chargeback which was denied. I have now had to dispute this payment and cancel debit card. This company has no morals.
This company is a scam!! As I read below, the same thing over and over. I was charged a $179 renewal fee without my knowledge. The AI generated response is they send out a renewal notice beforehand. The old email address has been deactivated that this notice supposedly went out to. They will not refund me my money. This is horrible how they are taking people’s money.
I have been using BeachBody or Bodi for the last 7 years. I first started with 21DayFix DVD program and later used the OnDemand service. I enjoy the Fixate Recipes and use them to cook family meals. I try to follow the workout plans and and stick to the container method. I do wish there was more community to connect with for accountability.
Beware of their auto-renewal policy, you’re stuck with the charge (and the membership) regardless of how quick you are to cancel. My membership renewed in June, I canceled a week or two after I saw the charge, and now I’m stuck with the program until June 2025. Terrible business practice. Stick with the numerous amazing free workout programs you can find on YouTube.
They will auto-renew your membership without any warning emails. Then they will not refund anything unless it is 30 days from the original membership. Scammed out of $179 even though the charge just happened and I haven't used the product.
Same story: They claim they send a notice prior to renewal but I have never received it. They are loosing loyal customers purely because of greed. I am curious to see how long they can stay in business and make money purely using their auto renewal system.
Company with broken values and petty tricks. It's extremely hard to unsubscribe, you can't do it on the phone, you need to make an effort and log into computer. In July I've logged into their account and unsubscribed, at that moment I was happy that I did all correct, my original subscription was running out on the 19th August. However I was charged in August, when I logged in, it was shown as if I was not unsubscribed. How convenient for them. There is no live chat and nearly no means to communicate with company. So to make sure that they don't trick me again I went to PayPal and removed Beachbody from authorized list. And guess what, this is when they marked it unsubscribed. So I've tried to contact the company again ask to refund money which release around 10 program per year but charge more than Netflix. And they told me they won't as it is already August.Which is a breach on it own of new cooling off Act in UK: The DMCC Act introduces new cancellation rights that apply during the 14 day renewal cooling-off period. As well as an initial cooling off period on commencement of the service or receipt of goods, consumers will have a 14 day right to cancel a subscription when they become liable for a 'relevant renewal'.There is other law rules that are not followed: Reminders: the business has to provide a renewal reminder before the end of a free/discounted trial period, and also a periodic reminder notice about renewal payments. Each such notice has to contain certain prescribed information, including a reminder of how the consumer can cancel the subscription. Post reply of BODII wish I can add print screen to this post. My renewal every year was on 17th of August, however this year it happened when 19th. Why?! Yes I opened your email after you re-subscribe me. But guess why, first of all I do remember that on 18th of July I logged into your account and unsubscribed, so I had no reason to open zillions marketing emails from you, second yes email title doesn't says it is renewal. As at that point of time I had trust in the company and didn't have paranoia I was not interesting to dig through marketing emails. On the 23rd of August I didn't unsubscribed from BODI site (no trust at all), I revoked access for BODI (BB) company from my Paypal.BODI (BB) still haven't answered regards legislation breach. As it is stated I should 14 days cooling-off period: since BB resubscribed me on the 19th, and I revoked access of my money of the 23rd, I'm within my legal rights for the refund.
Terrible customer service when it came to trying to get a billing issue resolved. I wouldn’t ever renew my subscription with these people just based on that
Shady business practices. Auto renewed and I called as soon as it happened and they wouldn't refund. I had not used it in months and they know that because they send out weekly emails with how many times you watched videos. They are keeping my money knowing I had not and will not be using their services anymore. That doesn't sound like an honest business to me and certainly not the way I was raised to treat people. If you do decide to use them you should cancel immediately so you are not charged again at the end of the year. This should not be legal without pre-authorization at the time of the charge. If everyone had a choice when they signed up of auto renew after a year, I would imagine that you would certainly not prefer that as an option. As stated before, SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
Automatic RenewalThey automatically renew you and WILL NOT cancel this renewal. They send out an email that dosen't even represent that it is a renewal notice and spam additional emails. Initial yearly plan was 99.00 and this year they auto renewed for 242.00 and refuse to reimburse because DIGITAL payment does not allow for 30 days money back. This is their reponse "We didn't receive any requests to cancel the BODi Annual Membership until 06/28/2024 via phone support or self-service. Hence, you had been charged $215.00 + tax on 06/21/2024..
I joined beach body team in August 2021. The yearly fee was more than I wanted to keep up with, I asked to have my account cancelled and believed there would be no more fees charged to my credit card. Well I just noticed that they charged me $242.95 last business day. I emailed and I called explaining my old credit card expired 11/23 and I cashed to have this account terminated back in 2021. At least refund the last charge as I have never used the app and I don’t understand how they were still putting through charges on an expired credit card. They refused. There was no manager for me to speak to, just a form to fill out requesting a refund, and guess what, I was denied. $242.95 is a lot of money and since it was just charged on the previous business day, they could have at least refunded me that one charge, but they refused. Their customer service is terrible and I wish I never even considered their app $1000 later.
What a shame. An otherwise seemingly good company, with a really egregious cancelation and renewal policy.I canceled the day my subscription renewed. Not the next day. Literally the day of. That was too late according to their policy.Customer service was horrendously unhelpful. Refused to transfer me.Sent me the policy exception form which literally reads this:Your policy exception request has been received."As a reminder, we hold our customers and our company to the terms and conditions that were agreed to at purchase and/or sign up. Please be warned that it is unlikely that an exception request will be granted when outside of our policy."That is incredibly ironic and insulting. They position their policy as if they're just upholding fairness when in reality they have this policy for one reason only: to take advantage of people. Shame on them. And look at this thread. You can count thousands of dollars being stolen from well meaning customers in just the past few days!!! And their response is just to say "our policy." Infuriating. Insulting. Irresponsible. Unethical.
I feel duped by the auto renewal practices of this company. I ALWAYS turn off auto-renew so was shocked to see a charge to my credit card. I'm not saying that I did turn it off, all I'm saying is that I typically make it a practice to turn them off, so not sure what happened there. Anyway, I cancelled immediately and searched for an email that would have alerted me to the upcoming payment. That email was super sneaky and not oblivious at all! Unless you read the whole email - which is unlikely because they send so many emails, you wouldn't know it's an alert. In my opinion these are sneaky tactics and they should be ashamed of their business practices. For a platform that is supposed to help people become better versions of themselves, they should have better more ethical business practices themselves. Shame on them. To be clear, I never denied that I got an email but that the email was not obvious and the auto renewal notice was buried in the body of the email. That is my number one complaint about your process. I think you are intentionally making it hard for customers to flag the renewal notice.
On the third day after an auto renewal hit my charge card Bodi REFUSED to take the charge off. I looked everywhere for a renewal email but couldn’t find it. My first year was $99-renewal was $179- They incurred NO out-of-pocket expense and still wouldn’t issue a refund. This is HORRIBLE customer service, so you’ve been advised.
I have been doing beachbody workouts for years. Have had paid the yearly membership a few times. Love the variety of workouts, meal plans and so much more info that I am able to obtain. I will be reactivating my membership this week. Results with the workouts can be pretty amazing as long as you also follow a diet of some sort. Thanks Beachbody!!

“Great Company!”
This company really is interested in your health and it shows. The customer service could use some help, but in no way does that deter me from using their quality products. They've allowed our nonprofit organization to be a coach so we can use it for fundraising without any cost to us. Pretty incredible!
“Customer Service is non existent!”
Their products are great, but sign up for a "free trial" and good luck getting them to cancel the recurring charge! Their reps can't even locate your account never mind take care of the problem. Each one you talk to gives different information, then someone finally assures you they have cancelled your account and you won't be charged, then guess what? Another charge hits! Stay away - it's not worth the aggravation! Service Value Returns Quality
“This site has a variety of fitness programs and videos,...”
This site has a variety of fitness programs and videos, so you can choose the routine that works best for you. They also sell at home fitness equipment that is affordable and easy to use. I am really happy with the products I have bought, and I feel that I am making good progress.
“Sad Business Practices for Good Products”
So, this company actually has good products. They are well made and will help you keep the extra pounds off. However, they have one of the more dishonest business models there are. They auto bill and they get you to buy a product and if you dont send it back charge you heaps of money. They also essentially run a "pyramid" scheme by getting people to push their product and they end up bilking the "coaches" as well as the end client. It's sad because it didn't have to be this way :/
“Good products but sleazy service”
It's been 3 months that I have been trying to cancel my subscription and they have billed me every single time now. Every time I call their support line I am assured it's being cancelled and I will not be charged yet at the beginning of the month a new charge and package shows up. I am so angry and feel so scammed at the lack of help and apology on their end. They simply do not care about their clients and are only interested in your money.
“Love this business!”
Love the products. Love the company. My only complaint is that they are super expensive and therefore making it hard to lose weight with this company, because unless you have a super great job, you can not afford it. Other than that, love the company. The Shakeology tastes soooo amazing! Their Energize tastes amazing as well. Will continue to use when I'm not broke! Tip for consumers:Very expensive! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Love/hate relationship”
Insanity is exactly that. I hate it when I'm doing it but when that insane 30 minutes is over, I feel so good. I feel even better after a week or two of the workouts because I actually see results. There is just no way around it, to lose weight you have to work. And if I'm going to work, I'm really going to work. And I am not going spend hours and hours a day doing it. 30 minutes, suck it up and do it. It's worth it.
“Ordered Shakeology which is a great product and in...”
Ordered Shakeology which is a great product and in the process they ask if you want a "coach" I mistakenly assumed that would be a person I could reach out to when I wanted. Unfortunately, they released my name, address and information to someone I don't know in North Carolina who has started sending me unsolicited mail which she asks me to follow her blog and join her on FB, etc. I have tried to get them to stop her by calling but just ended up getting more mail. CREEPY!
“They are a scam”
They are a scam They started to charge me monthly with out my knowledge after I paid for a year upfront and when I contacted them to correct the situation they refused to refund me they money they stole from me trying to say I signed up for more then I did so they forced I. Into a secondary membership that I had no knowledge of then charged me for it with out my knowledge and refused to help there customers service was completely rude and unhelpful Products used:Video membership Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Great products, great customer service but need better website”
I think Beachbody is a great company. I have purchased both from US site and now their CDN site. I find their website difficult to navigate, so I do have a hard time finding what I am looking for at times. I am also sad that we can not get all products in Canada (where as when we ordered from the US site we could). Yes, you have to watch to see if you are signing yourself up for a subscription, most challenge packs are going to auto enroll you with a couple of their products or if you want the best price on their supplement products the best price will be via subscription. I do not fault them on this and I personally feel they make it pretty clear. They also make it very easy to cancel or give you an option to delay shipments for a couple of months, any dealings with customer service have been awesome. My favorite thing they have come out with is Beachbody on Demand. They literally have every program for you to stream at a very reasonable price. My rating is a four star due to website design and not being able to get some of the products in Canada.
“Site has functionality issues, but great products”
They really could use a great web designer! Their site has some frustrating functionality issues, from weirdly logging you out to strange, yet-to-be-determined relationships with Team Beachbody and Shakeology, but these issues are easy to work around. (If they're all the same company, just make them all one site?) I have had such great success with both Beachbody workouts and their Shakeology products--I've been a customer for over a year and have come to rely on these things for whipping myself into shape and better health. I really was beyond impressed and I've been dieting for over twenty years (I'm in my early 30s, yes, we start them young in the USA). I've honestly tried everything from supplements to good old-fashioned ED -- I even sent away for a mail order "herbal weight loss tincture discovered in the Amazon rainforest" I saw in the back of a People magazine when I was 15. (Its effects were negligible). The autoship/autorenew thing you can't opt out of until after you've made your purchase is kind of annoying but it's fairly standard practice for businesses these days. BB/Shakeology makes it VERY easy to cancel that -- either an email or a phone call will do it, and they are prompt. Any time I've spoken to a rep on the phone they've been incredibly helpful and very quick to fix any issues. Their shipping times are also insanely fast, even for regular shipping. Love this company, big fan. (Just hire a better web developer, please!)
“Purchased DVDS 2014 - No access to online to download without buying membership?!?”
We purchased in 2014 P90X3 and P90X and spent several hundred dollars. I love the product so much however I have to carry a cd player and the cd around with me that is now impossible with reduced luggage allowance and the amount I travel. When I called Beachbody and requested access to the products I had purchased they said I have to buy a membership and sent me a link to spend $143.88. I do not want nor need membership. I only want access to the DVD online to download on my computer. I love the workouts and want to use them. I asked for a temporary access that would expire just to download. Answer was No. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Answer was No. There was absolutely no option for a me who had spent money to buy a product that I love and access it online. How is this possible in this day and age? The woman hung up on me and said she could not do anything more. Very poor Customer service and would not recommend this product only because their ultimate goal is not fitness and well being, it is to make money. I say this because I love the workouts and can now not have access to them. Service Quality
“Good company”
I've tried their Insanity, P90x and Shakeology. All great products, my only complaint is about their Customer Support.
“I bought the P90X recently, so far so good”
I bought the P90X recently, so far so good. I'm in the reviewing stage, going to start it in a few days from now. Can't wait!

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
