Survey and Scratch Card

How the scam works:

This scam belongs to the Timeshare Scam group. Somebody conducting a survey approaches you on the sidewalk.

After a few questions, they will politely give you a scratch card as a token of appreciation for your time. The card is a winning one (lucky you!), but in order to receive the prize you have to visit a specific resort. Once there, you will be stuck for a few hours into a hard selling aggressive timeshare presentation.

How to avoid:

Don’t get involved, every card is a winning one. For complete details about how the scam works, check the Timeshare Presentation Scam.
