Recently a scam targeting Filipino nurses had the Philippine Consulate in Canada issuing warnings that the information the victims are receiving is false.
Nurses are getting offers for non-existent jobs if they pay fees for “coaching interviews” and seminars as a prelude to their employment at a Canadian hospital. The applicants are asked to pay a substantial sum of money to pay for coaching interviews as a precursor to a two-day seminar at the Canadian Embassy in Manila.
However, the hospitals being referred to as the hiring bodies are not actually hosting these sessions and are not hiring. Adding insult to injury, there is a rumor circulating around the Philippines that the government is about to announce a plan to stop forced migration of Filipino workers within five years.
This rumor has made many Filipino professionals very nervous and anxious to find jobs in more developed countries; the only problem is, the rumor is not true.
How to avoid:
If you are a foreign employee looking to make a move to North America and you receive an offer such as this, your first step should be a telephone call to the company allegedly hiring to verify the information. If you do not receive a definitive answer from the company, contact the country's consulate in your country and ask them about any potential scams making the rounds involving foreign employment. In the case of wiping out your savings, it is wise to be overly-diligent when verifying this information.

Attend the 2-day Cleveland Work Permit Visa Coaching on September 21 & 22, 2013 Saturday & Sunday from 9am-5pm), get the required certificate, orientation with the employer ( September 21, 2013 Saturday from 9:00-10:00 AM) & signing of employment contract with interview with the employer (September 22, 2013 Sunday from 4:00-5:00 PM)
