Is zando.co.za Legit?

After years of supporting this site, they have now changed their return policy to only a drop off in warehouse in Cape Town, useless for Gauteng shoppers. Unfortunately won't be buying from them anymore

There local products are great, and high quality, Bought Lego from them and got it i two days,

Deposited R1000 to the ntombikayise Mlangeni the merchant and they wanted R10 000 when I tell thwm that I do not have the funds and I want my money back they refuse they tell me that I should make a plan before I get my money back this is scam

I ordered a colored curly wig frm Zando, delivery took literally a month😢and only to discover that what I ordered is totally different from what is on their website/page. The wig looks old and not in a good condition It's unfortunate that wigs are not returnable. I am disgusted and disappointed. My money down the drain.

I regret not reading reviews before placing order. I ordered an afro 13×4 pre plucked wig, only to receive a disgusting wig that you can't even put on your head. And they telling Me I can't return it.Reading at the reviews I guess it is their way of scamming people off their money because Iam not the only one complaining. Zando uses people to push the rates of their products up and at the same time they scam people from their money.they contact you via Facebook or WhatsApp. Draw you a picture of earn 300 to 1000 rand a day. You get R20 to report the first day. You are told to do things like or favorite certain products - a lot of people does this.Then you are told to add certain items to your cart. So you are pushing up their "rates" and "sales".You get a task for the "Merchant" where you need to put money into the account of someone else. and it becomes credit for you to go to a website called Jumia. you earn commission by buying goods that are specified for you.You need to buy this and get a commission based on what you paid. and you get an extra R30.Then you get 3 tasks similar to liking products or putting it into the cart. then task 8 does the "Merchant" task.Unfortunately, I decided to give a big amount. The experience turned into a nightmare.I have since logged a fraud case at my bank and at the police station.Please be aware that they are using scams and back handed ways to get your attention. Thank you.

I ordered 2 items on 7 September 2023 and received it almost a month later on 05 October 2023. Very bad experience, staff very unhelpful, promised to call me back, didnt do it, only came back to me after I called several times. I wont recommend buying from Zando at all👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

I ordered shoes for my son only to find they don't fit, I requested for return within the stipulated time and that was on 1 December 2023 to date the return hasn't been fetched I'm always promised that the courier company will come whenever I contact them but nothing. I don't even know what to do with these shoes. Their service is really frustrating I'm never placing an order there ahain

DO NOT BUY FROM INTERNATIONAL SELLERS!!!!I bought 2 items from international seller with some items of local stores. 1st the dress i bought (R470) does not even look like the picture, it is basically 2 pieces of fabric sown together. 2. The swimsuit I bought (R300) was completely see through, not even my size and horrible quality. I emailed customercare more than 5 times with only one response. No refund, no apology and no help either.

I just got my order on time ,it didn’t take while as I was expecting regarding on the reviews experience .I would recommend people to order their quality it’s not bad .The only mistake they did on other shirt was the size hence I ordered one large and one X-Large then I got all X-L but it’s okay fit n suit .Thank you

Worst experience.Their return policy is ridiculous. Purchased a pair of boots like week ago and I lodged a return literally the next day after receiving them. I spoke to the agent Tarryn who is just so useless. They were supposed to have collected the return on Tuesday and it's Friday today, still waiting for them.I will never purchase anything from Zando!!

They are useless; they promise to refund your items. I bought two dresses, and nowhere on the page does it advise the fabric. I got the parcel, I opened the package, and the material clung to my hand like a cheap suit. I did not even bother putting it on. Before the cursor even left, I was asking for a refund, but now I get a call advising that the dress has body odor on it, so they will not refund it!! Please stop ordering and close them down!!

I have been extremely happy with the items I ordered from Zando. What I ordered was exactly as per the photo on the website. I was so pleased with confirmation e-mails keeping me informed of the progress of my order. I received my items much quicker than the given delivery date. The courier service they used were exceptional as well. I won't hesitate to order again. In fact I look forward to getting more good, honest and reliable service. Happy regular customer.

Zando is the worst online store. They are dishonest. They will deliver damaged items and reject your return blaming you for the damage. Dont waste your money.

What a nightmare Never had problems with delivery Now waiting 2 days for my delivery Zando gonna lose alot of business because of courier change and they just not coping or have a any idea what they doing

I buy most of my items from Zando never had problems with them, the delivery takes between 4-5 days and if I lock in a return takes about a day or 2 days for them to collect the parcel from me and they always let me know the day and time the courier will be here, giving me the opportunity to reschedule the collection in case I'm not home. I'm very happy with Zando. Best service ever.

Don't order from this company - 2nd experience now where they say they have fulfilled but no one has even come to our gate and then they just cancel your order without even attempting to contact you as the PAYING customer! Terrible service I will not use them again

Pleasantly Surprised by Zando!I've never had a bad experience with Zando - I recently bought a pair of sneakers but when they arrived (a week earlier than expected), they were a size too small. I sent them back thinking that Zando was likely to penalize me by deducting the shipping fees from the exchange balance - but they didn't - i re-ordered the shoes and the voucher did not just cover the cost of the shoes but also the shipping to have it delivered to me again!. The delivery guy is already on his way to my house again, much sooner than expected! What a fantastic experience. Thanks Zando!

Zando has 2.2 stars on google and a trust index of 2,8 on Hellopeter. Don't be scammed by them. Like most of the other reviewers that were scammed, I previously bought from Zando without a problem, but they are no longer the same company. Either they have new ownership or have decided to rely on their previously good name to start scamming customers.

I recieved my order super fast and the website is easy to use. I returned 2 items due to a sizing issue from my side and the driver arrived within 2 days to collect. I was then issued a voucher code to use 1 day after that. I'm really happy with the service and efficiency. It's also nice to see many of the items I chose are manufactured locally.I will definitely shop here again.

“Online store Zando use every excuse not to refund customers on returned goods”

I purchased a dress from South African online shop www.zando.co.za and when I opened the package, I immediately noticed that there was a smell of body odour on the dress. I was not impressed that Zando would send me a dress in such a condition, but I reluctantly tried it on thinking that I would simply wash the dress if it fitted well as I always do so anyway before wearing something new. The dress was out of it's packaging for at most 5 minutes and once I discovered that it didn't fit well, I neatly returned it to the same packaging it arrived in, in exactly the same condition I received it (smell and all). I requested a return on the dress stating that it didn't fit as the reason for my return and the package was collected. I then received an email that I would not be refunded for the item because it didn't pass quality control. After querying this they said that I returned the dress with that smell. I explained to them that the smell was already there when I received it, but they still refuse to refund me. Surely it is important for a seller to check the items before sending it out to the customer. I should not have received the dress in that state in the first place! Now I am being blamed for it. At best this is really poor customer service, however, from reading other recent reviews I'm convinced that they knowingly sent me a dress that was unacceptable, expected me to return it, so that they had an excuse not to refund me and they could then use the same dress to scam others. Clearly this company has either recently changed ownership or have decided to rely on their previously good name to start scamming customers (reviews point to either never receiving the products that they paid good money for or receiving incorrect, damaged or unacceptable items and being refused refunds upon return of these).
