youfit.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives youfit.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 68.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 68.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to youfit.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning youfit.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between youfit.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of youfit.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of youfit.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. youfit.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether youfit.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether youfit.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, youfit.com.

If you take out membership for a year make sure you cancel it before it ends as they will continue to charge you.Be sure to cancel your direct debit after you cancel as they employ a debt collection to get their money.
They told me about promotion 9.99 the basic and I signed in and they told me after 3 mouths it will reduce instead 32 a month it will go to 9.99 and after 3 months they continue charging me the full amount from my credit card and I called to cancel and they said that I own them another month and I got pending cancellation and I know they are thieves because I called to cancel so now they want 169 dollars with collections fee for a lawyer be careful people don’t fall to this promotion they will get you big time
The worst gym to sign up with. I moved to a different area and called and emailed them as they said, to cancel and they never acknowledged it and kept changing me monthly and now they put me in collections. I would never sign up with you fit or recommend it to anyone.
Unfortunately, YouFit is dishonest. They make it impossible to cancel a membership for any customer who becomes disabled. They have zero English speakers in their customer service department and they actually hang up on you to prevent cancellation. These shady practices are not necessary in this industry. Plenty of other gyms do not harass the disabled. It should not be complicated to cancel a gym membership if the gym management is honest. We would have rejoined after the disability crisis healed. But, I cannot tolerate anyone taking advantage of the disabled.
I go to Ufit in Oakland Park Fort Lauderdale. Staff are the most welcoming , kind and caring. The cleaning crew nonstop sanitizing . I’ve been train by couple of trainers there and they are awesome . I’m thankful for Noemi who I started with and very thankful for Yesim who encourages me to keep going . She is awesome and I look better every day .
I purchased a one-month membership, and was told it would grant me access to all YouFit gyms. However, when I attempted to work out at a nearby location, I was denied entry. I reached out to their support via email but received no reply. In a last-ditch effort, I emailed the CEO to share my experience, hoping to prevent this from happening to others. My wife also has a monthly membership and pays for personal training, so we contribute a significant amount to this franchise. The unprofessionalism and lack of response from both the gym and the CEO are appalling. We're done; we'll be canceling our memberships and looking for a gym that actually values its customers.
You fit SheppertonI have been coming to YouFit in Shepperton for many years and I have always found the gym team friendly, approachable and always ready to go the extra mile to be helpful.I am sorry Dan has left and sadly Kamil is leaving too, however I am looking forward to Matt becoming the new manager. I am sure that Matt, Calum (hoping very much that he will become the new Deputy Manager) James and Sandra will be committed to ameliorating YouFit Leisure even more by providing excellent members’ training and outstanding customer care.
No no no no no ..... filthy outdated practice. No good for disabled, no good if you like clean facilities. All on camera, believe me, they are filming you .... go to complain and whoa there they are with their edited footage. Please really think before you sign x 1* can't even rate 0*. In my opinion, this stinky filthy place needs shutting down. Don't forget, cameras everywhere x
I've been coming to this gym for a couple of years and I believe it's a great value. The gym is always clean and the staff is friendly and prompt. Recently, I took advantage of a special on Personal Training and have had an excellent experience. The PT (Nick) is highly knowledgeable and is a great listener that will help you reach your goals, whatever they are.Very inexpensive, convenient and uncrowded, I highly recommend this place if you are trying to get fit.
They only provide 4 crappy tv stations for exercise equipment. Basic cable is pretty cheap spread across the entire membership can only be pennies a day. Who makes these decisions??
I have had some confusion in the account on my membership, I emailed the membership and the management and they resolved it within 24 hr.The staff are always welcoming and warm and the pool is very cosy if you do not like a crowded pool you definitely will enjoy this in YouFit pool in Holiday Inn.
Never going back there ever again. They are scammers, once they get your card charged they wont stop.250 days ago I told them to cancel my membership, and I trusted they canceled it.Today's date, I'm still being charged even tho I told them to cancel it. Then I call my bank and they cant do nothing because it is an automatic payment (what they can do is contact YouFit)Also, youfit now wants to charge me the annual membership because this bill is due within the last 30 days after I requested the cancelation by email. When I requested such 250 days ago. This is crazy!!
Youfit Haydock Only visited twice.... cancelled membership due to....Dirty & poorly repaired toilets and shower facilities. Mold on shower tiles. Dirty seat in shower. No lock on shower doors. Only one changing cubicle. Rusty equipment, equipment out of order, damp on the walls in the gym and changing rooms. In desperate need of refurbishment. Pool never available due to swimming lessons. Not value for money. Not fit for purpose. Their only positive is the staff are friendly and helpful.
Joined the Gym at Shepperton and was missold was told we get this and get that but one week after joining what we had been promised was no longer available.Could not use facilities as was broke for couple of months. Gym caused me a lot of health issues because gave me exercises they should noty have given me. But to cut a long story short it was agreed with manager that membership be cancelled and are now getting emails from debt collection requesting £61. Have told debt collection the story extplaining the mental issues but they keep on emailing. What does one have to do when suffering badly with mental issues. It is disgraceful. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF SHEPPERTON SURREY. Clearly Manager not doing his job.
Cancelled the membership. Via email, yes in writing! Got a debt company now chasing me for money not owed as they breached the contract. Over priced for what it is, and if everything worked it was a miracle.I’m looking forward to court to see how they explain the debt owed as I will be seeking damages. Would avoid!
I joined Youfit Lancaster last summer. The ladies changing room is a joke there is little privacy, three toilets and four showers. When you have been in a class of at least 30 ladies your wait for the toilets and shower's was horrendous especially when one of the showers was broken for some considerable time. The only positive thing I can say about Youfit Lancaster the staff were lovely, they put up with a lot from members who constantly complained of broken equipment. The higher management need to think less of themselves and more about the frontline staff because with out them there would be no Youfit.
CHEAP IS EXPENSIVE. I started a membership under a Black Friday promo: "No dues until January." There is no such promo you will end being charged two annual fees in 12 months, no matter what you do. They charge the first annual fee in January because the "no dues until January" mean you will end paying the annual fee later than the day you sing in for the program. Then they will charge another annual fee on the month 12, EVEN IF YOU CALLED AND AGREED WITH THEM NOT TO RENEW YOUR CONTRACT. The gym is dirty, there is no control, and people leave sweaty paper towels on the cardio machines. Between 6 pm to 9 pm you will not be able to work out properly because they don't have enough equipment to attend the demand of their service.
Basic exercise equipment. Lots of broken machines. Not really a good experience for the month I was there.
I joined Holiday Inn Leeds Brighouse youfit club. I was advised by the supervisor to take out a 3 month contract. He never verbally mentioned that after the 3 months I would still be on a rolling monthly direct debit contract. I personally think this is a very devious, underhand way of doing business, but then they obviously don't care as long as they can keep tricking / conning people into joining and not explaining the full facts of the membership payment face to face.
I have joined the club for a year in holiday inn in Colchester the staff in the reception enrolled us in the scheme they didn’t mention that we need to send an email one month before the year finishes to cancel our membership. Now after 3 months of cancellation I received an email from the debit collection to pay £92 one month fee +admin. Very bad communication and very bad serviceNever again

“Do not recommend youfit gym 13865 Wellington Trace, Wellington Fl 33414”

I purchased a personal trainer that I thought was $280 for the whole 6 months. The gym advised I would receive a copy of the contract to review the same day, but I didn't receive it for 4.5 months. They also indicated I could leave the state on vacation and they would freeze my contract. (never happened) I found out 4.5 months after signing up, the contract was $280 every month for six months. The management is not transparent on any of their business dealings and the gym has a pathetic line of work out equipment. I do not recommend this gym or a personal trainer because neither one is worth the price! Products used:personal trainer Service Value Quality

“No tv programs”

Exercise equipment have 4 rotten stations, no new, sports or business programs, unbelievable in today's world, how much could it cost? Pennies

“17 year old grandson wants to be fit instead of a couch potato”

So, my very mature 6'5" 220 grandson who is 17 wants to be health and fit instead of sitting around the house playing video games. Both his parents are deceased and he is really trying to be a positive person. I thought this facility would be a great choice for him but much to my disappointment no. -With the new year they have a waiver of the sign up for that would not apply to him. So they want a $92 sign up fee. - The $9.98 monthly cost won't apply to him but would be $22.00 per month plus an extra $7-9 per month because he is 17 and not 18+. I'm on a limited income and told I could afford this for him but with these additional costs are too much. So a guess YOU Fit doesn't consider the health of the younger health conscience students? Planet Fitness offers great programs for younger persons but there aren't any near his foster home. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“This place is a scam”

I unknowingly signed up for a 12 month contract and the gym facilities were not that nice and it was dirty so I decided I wasn't in my budget and not worth my money. For months I've been trying to discuss getting out of the contract for months and they started off by making it a difficult as possible to get into contact with their billing company ABC solutions and then when you finally get on the phone with them their rude and don't know what their talking about. And they want me to pay ridiculous fees to not go to their facility, something I'm already doing I went twice and have not been their in months and now the have sent me to collections to poach 390 dollars I don't have since I'm a 18 year spring admit college student. “Bullies”

I personally went to unsubscribe after 6 months without going. They told me it was fine and nothing else was necessary. After 3 months I see that they continue to charge me and try to charge me an extra annual fee. As I reported them on the card, they sent me to collection. They continually call and threaten even though it is prohibited by law. Tip for consumers:I personally went to unsubscribe after 6 months without going. They told me it was fine and nothing else was necessary. After 3 months I see that they continue to charge me and try to charge me an extra annual fee. “Just invoiced 160.00+ went to gym and its out of business”

Wow! Just there a few days ago. Went to work out today and the building is vacant. No sign on the door. Nothing. Sign on door in picture from nearby fitness Center asking for business. How many other locations closing I wonder. I just recently joined and no way to contact management. Staff at other location 20 minutes away just says they are sorry. Of course, I know they can't control. I was required to go there personally to submit cancellation of membership. Very poor business practice.

“They won't let you cancel your membership”

I was a member for over 6 years, I never had any problems, the equipment is ok and no one bothers you when you are working out. But, when I tried to cancel, they gave me the run around and wouldn't tell me how to cancel. Now it is with a collection agency and they want more money from me. They said I had to cancel in writing, but I still have no idea where to send the cancellation request, so I stopped paying. NEVER join this gym if you ever need to leave it is very difficult. “Bad experience”

Very difficult to train in that gym with the harassment from the trainers, poor education, discrimination, specifically in Miami, The Gym located in Crossing

“You Fit Gym located at 9057 Taft Street, Pembroke Pines,...”

You Fit Gym located at 9057 Taft Street, Pembroke Pines, Florida, Telephone *******800. Stay away if you can. Gym is overcrowded, so much that is unsafe. Air conditioning is insufficient and the administration do not fix it. Clerks and personal trainers are impolite. Not all but a great majority of customers are disrespectful. Many people occupy areas designated for walking as excercise floor, leaving their weights scattered, and employees do not enforce rules. Service Value Quality

“Membership promotion is a total lie”

What a pile of lies they spout in their promotions! They claim to offer a $10 per month membership but with a $42 "sign up" fee and a $54 "membership" fee the actual yearly cost with tax is more than $225, or nearly $20 per month. There are gyms with better and more equipment (i. E. Crunch) that charge considerably less for a yearly membership. YouFit used to be a gym that cared about member costs but no more, plus now they scam you with extra fees and bogus claims about monthly costs. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

“Do not waste your time”

This gym at first glance seems ok, but the people are unfriendly, work on equipment and clean while members are working out, they did not post hours for holidays and then have incompetent trainers. The manager is a hack and only cares about his numbers. They fired the trainer I contracted with and will not let me out of the contract. I injured my knee and ended up with a horrible experience.

“Terrible business practices”

Joined gym. Agreed to 50 dollar year fee and 10 a month. No problems with that. Been there for just short of a year and am leaving to an area where no you fit is located. I was charged a 10 dollar processing fee to cxl my membership which I had to be there in person to do. That's so they can collect the 10 dollars I'm sure. It's only 10 dollars but what a sham. Will never join this gym again

“This company is down right nasty”

Gym seen clean price seems nice, people seem nice. Trust me it just seems like that. The machines are always broken, and never wiped down. Most of the time they take months to get fix. The bathrooms are always discussing, and the staff is rude. As far as the price, well they raised my membership without even a warning. During the shut down they charged me even while they were closed, and my account was frozen go to planet fitness. You'll be better off there.

“I get my moneys worth for the basic membership”

My membership is for the basic at $10.69 a month. I go twice a week so that to me is reasonable and I get my moneys worth. I do have them set debit out of my account. However I recently changed my card controls to stop automatic payment withdrawals so that I could pay on the app. Interestingly today, I received a notice stating that their debit had been declined for $13.69 yet I was able to go on the app and pay the amount $10.69. Just keep an eye on it and utilize your card controls to protect yourself from over debiting From any company

“They will charge your card without authorization...”

They're crooks! They charged my credit card even that they were/still closed. Last month (may 2020) they charged me twice, their phone customer service is a joke nobody take the call and the automatic system hang up on you, they deleted all the comments I posted in their Facebook page and blocked me so I can't post more comments asking about why they charged my cc... do yourself a favor pay a little bit more and join a different gym.

“Do not sign up. Company has no integrity.”

Do not sign up. Company has no integrity. You fit has zero integrity after two year membership constantly paying on time I needed to cancel as my sons membership as he is leaving for college. They have just taken this months charge, as per the contract I gave them 10 days notice, and they still have the balls to charge me a $10 processing fee to cancel his membership. If this is how a loyal customer is treated I would hate to see how a customer would be treated after a short period of time. No integrity, bad business, notice to all! Find another gym! “Don't join this gym!”

Don't join this gym! They are a bunch of crooks that will take money out of your bank account for years. We have tried to cancel membership 3 times and have even paid additional $10 cancellation fee and yet they still continue to take monthly fees from our account. Don't understand why this process is so difficult! Even with locations closed due to the virus they are still taking money out! Don't get roped into this scam! Go join another gym!

“Watch out on auto renew!”

Watch out on auto renew! I signed up in December 2019, prepaid for a year with auto renew... 6 days later, I get a job offer out of the country. They said no refund as it has been after 5 days. Fine, so I go in to the gym to cancel, and cancel the auto renew as well. They call me today (Jan. 2022) two years later, saying they billed me for last year and are trying to bill me again even though I haven''t even been in their gym or in contact with them after I cancelled! The girl who called me said I am at their mercy, and the manager who signed me up has been long gone, and he didn't follow procedures... He had just started back then, so clearly their employee turnover is a problem as well. Value

“BUYER BEWARE”

Total scam. First of all if you are dedicated to going to the gym and this is a regular weekly thing for you and part of your routine the gym itself is great. However the membership for $10 a month is a total scam. In July I went to cancel my membership. They talked me into "transferring" it to my husband for NO FEE. They did not mention that the membership was going to be considered "new" at that point meaning a yearly fee would be due after three months. I had just paid this annual fee of $39.99 one month earlier. When my husband went to cancel today it cost him $59.99! Not only is this a total scam but to make matters worse the girl said she was taking off various other fees to get it down to that! Total bull***t if you ask me. Poor business practices and horrendous customer service. Misleading advertisement as well. Buyer Beware!

“I have been overcharged for months even after promising to fix it, even now that the gyms are closed”

I like the gym but they are ripping me off. Attempted to fix this twice, no one answers at corporate, let's see if my Youfit website inquiry is answered. They're still getting paid even though the gyms are closed but no one to answer the phones.

“Bad customer service”

The customer service is horrible. I tried to call to cancel my membership before my first month over the phone and they tell me I have to go in person. Waiting for the cancellation charges now. Will never go back. I would recommend staying far away from this place

“They stole my money”

Youfit owe me $354 they have been constantly charging my account the annual fee any day of the month taking money out for no reason and that's not even including my overdraft fees

“Great!”

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

If you own youfit.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).

* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.

Please send the following via email to [email protected].
