Is yarn.com Legit?

I couldn’t find what I thought would be the appropriate yarn for the hat that I wanted to make, so I contacted WEBS for help. They responded quickly and gave me recommendations about the yarn fibers and weight that would best work. In such a “hustle-bushel” world that we live in today, I really appreciate their help. Great customer service!

I bought the beautiful Merino wool and pattern at the WEBS online store. One section of the pattern (German short rows) was confusing. I contacted customer support and received a prompt response. The person who helped me, Emily, had lots of patience. With a few back and forth emails the directions became clear. This support makes me definitely want to continue buying the yarn and patterns from WEBS online store. Thank you.

Your customer service at WEBS is phenomenal. I had a lengthy issue with UPS, delaying my order by several days. When you are waiting for yarn, that can be a long time! Not only did you send me a replacement but also called and followed up and even reached out to UPS to resolve the problem. Thank you so much! With everything being automated these days it was a delight to work with your company.

Webs has been my go-to yarn store for years. They keep you up to date if a substitution is needed...this has only happened to me once in all the years I've ordered from them! Great yarn, great prices, great service!

Webs used to be a great website for yarn, but they have lost the plot. It's great that they have frequent sales, but it means returning customers simply cannot order the yarn they want, when there is only one skein left in each colour.

I had a difficult problem for the WEBS staff - the belt broke on a wooden bobbin winder that had no identifying mark to indicate which company made it. I was kept up-to-date thru the couple of days before they could track down the brand but track it down they did. Polite, caring, diligent, dogged. Thank you WEBS staff!

Danielle and Liz were great. Danielle alerted me to the fact that the mixed lots of the yarn I ordered were a bad visual match, and Liz canceled my order on the back end and entered a new one. When I mentioned that I needed the yarn asap, Liz put an expedited instruction on it so it would go out the same day. They understood all aspects of my issue and took it seriously. They handled it competently and even put in extra effort to make sure I received exactly what I wanted as soon as possible. I used to teach customer service - these ladies get an A+. Thanks!

too bad I couldn't get wool from Webs yarn because the customs fees were too expensive, I requested a refund and the service did what was necessary very quickly. I highly recommend this site

Webs was acquired by Love Crafts a few years ago, and ever since then, they have disappointed me frequently. Customer service has ranged from very unhelpful to completely clueless lately. The icing on the cake happened a couple of weeks ago when they apparently decided to stop carrying a yarn staple, Malabrigo Arroyo. For a store that occupies the URL "yarn.com" not to carry such a basic, well-loved yarn is ridiculous. Worse yet is that customer service didn't know about this change when I asked why I couldn't find it on the site. Getting clear information from them is a challenge. In addition, the number of colorways of yarns that they do carry has been steadily decreasing.

I’ve ordered many times from Webs. This time, when packing my order they noticed the skeins were different dye lots. They contacted me to let me know, and helped cancel the order so I could pick something else. It was great proactive service!

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly when I need assistance in person. Also, send timely emails to my questions with very helpful information. They are very honest in letting me know if they can/can't answer my questions with explanations, such as they have instruction books for adults only, none at this time for child beginning learners.

Always check Webs for my weaving yarn as they have frequent sales and I love adding to my stash! They usually are very quick to process & ship but should there be a problem (out of stock for instance) their customer service is quick to inform & work with you to make suitable substitutes. I use mostly Tencel or cotton and they have wide range of colors.

The yarn smelled bad when I received it. Not sure why, I contacted support. Their answer was nonjudgmental, kind, and thorough. They had several recommendations. I opted for the set it out to air and if no improvement, return it. When I checked it just now, it was odorless. I'm glad. I like Regia sock yarn and my son selected that color specifically. Now to get out the right needles.....

Imagine you write to a store asking about information they answer you within 24 hours and give you the answer you needed to find a pattern you were looking for. The point is they don’t have the pattern but they answered and told me where I could get it. I can’t remember any provider doing this in the long time. Of course, I will buy the yarn for them as I have many times over the years and I will look at Web first before I do anything else when it comes to knitting

Amazing service. I was looking to print a pattern I had received as a gift. It was not in my library. I explained the situation and the representative did not find it either. I was resigned to purchasing the pattern again. Shortly after speaking with the representative, I received an email from her with a copy of the PDF, which she had found after we had spoken. She certainly went beyond in getting this pattern for me. My experience with Customer Service at Webs is always the best. They always go beyond expectation to rectify any problem.

i was very delighted to find the same Sock pop yarn to finish my sock pattern. I was short since my pattern encompassed cables. Reasonable cost including shipping in comparison to Amazon. Customer service was efficient in taking care of my duplicate order. I look forward to ordering again for my knitting products in the future.

I have purchased several times from WEBS, and have always had a pleasant experience. Website does well to provide lots of details so you can yarn shop online with confidence. Customer service was helpful the one time I reached out to them, but many orders and have only needed customer support once. Happy to be a repeat customer.

After placing an order with Webs, I decided I didn't want the yarn that I ordered, so I contacted Webs with my request to cancel, and, in no time at all, I received an e-mail from Webs and the cancellation was completed.
