An ad for Moab hiking shoes appeared in my Slickdeals email about various deals, but it only showed in the email on my phone, not on my computer. Since it was within my legitimate email, I thought maybe Xanthosoma was selling at that price because they were closing out the shoes from a retail store. I placed an order. The order email did not include sales tax, which caused me to wonder about their legitimacy. I went back and checked the original email - ad was only showing in email on phone, not on computer. I scanned my phone, but it found nothing. Today, a new email has the same ad, but linked to a different website. I cancelled my credit card, and am trying to dispute the charge. There also was a charge for an International transaction for $1.56. Orders are usually processed within 3-5 business days and take 7-15 business days to arrive - another website investigating this company stated that customers either never get what they ordered, or they are defective, or cheap things. No response from company when
This company is a fraud. I order shoes over 4 months ago and all I get is it is lost. They will not refund my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
I have had the same experience as T G Niepoth. I ordered and no merchandise was delivered. What kept me in the game is that they replied to my emails with screen-shot status of the order... until they didn\'t. Also, there is a tracking number that actually exists on USPS, which also made me think this was legitimate.
I too ordered a pair of Miab shoes. I was told they\'d be delivered in 7-15 days, with a tracking system that required me to enlist with an unknown (to me) service that I didn\'t feel comfortable with. They gave me an Alternative tracking method. I contacted them via email repeatedly over the next 3 months asking about my shoes, and was assured they were messing delivery. Finally, I\'d had enough and requested a cancelation of the order and a refund. Three days later, they said the shoes had been delivered. They never were, at least, not here. I had to contact my credit card company to get my money back. This company is a total fraud, but slick.
