The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning writingcreek.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between writingcreek.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of writingcreek.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of writingcreek.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. writingcreek.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether writingcreek.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether writingcreek.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, writingcreek.com.

No good reason to work with them. They are time waster. After working with them I completed 17 orders, I have 4.4 customer's rating. Suddenly, my account was charged for fine after which I was disconnected without payment. They are fake and scammers.
I recently had the displeasure of engaging in writingcreek, and now I have to caution others about this company's scamming nature. There were questions right from the very beginning. The name of the company was different on the customer view page from that on the writer page. That in itself should have been a big warning signal. After a few weeks in the service, unexplained and indiscriminate fines began accumulating in my account. I tried to contact them multiple times seeking their customer service; however, nobody ever responded or explained the situation to me. When it came time for me to get paid, I requested a payout, which was ignored. After several assurances, I got an email saying my account had been terminated for poor performance. I was utterly shocked, for I had done 17 orders with a successful customer rating of 4.4. It is for sure that writingcreek is a scam. They attract innocent people, squeeze the work out of them, and then use every opportunity to avoid paying. Seriously, I would not recommend this company even to my worst enemy.
They are totally scam don't waste your single penny on them Don't go for shortcuts do work in real time
They're scammers. Please don't waste your time applying for them....Ma ny apni assignment pori ki inko snd ki but yah log mujy payment nahi dy rahay..Maray sy paisay b liyay thy almost 23 thousand but still payment nahi dy rahay.3 assignment ma ny kr ky snd ki but still yah log mujy payment nahi dy rahay even inony muj sy paisay liyay. Ye company nahi hy sara scam hy buht jooty log hy jooty qasme kah kr logo ko pareshan kr dety hy haram khur hy ye log kabi be is mai kaam na karna.....
Ma ny apni assignment pori ki inko snd ki but yah log mujy payment nahi dy rahay..Maray sy paisay b liyay thy almost 23 thousand but still payment nahi dy rahay.2 assignment ma ny kr ky snd ki but still yah log mujy payment nahi dy rahay even inony muj sy paisay liyay..
I passed the English assessment. On completing my test assignment, I was emailed that I have 72 hours to complete the assignment and I didn't exceed that. I submitted my essay now and immediately I was met with "bad luck. Your application has been declined". How do I know that it was even reviewed by humans?I am displeased about this.
This company is terrible. I passed the grammar test and am very sure I wrote an excellent essay but I was still declined with no reasonable reason. Why can't this company specify what was wrong with one's application? If someone can take their time to past tests and write essays then this company should be able to give valid reasons as to why an application was declined. Why make applicants waste their precious time taking grammar tests and writing essays? It's also funny how this company expects applicants to write a coherent essay in 30mins as part of the qualification process because no one can produce an essay of the highest quality along with references in 30 mins. I absolutely believe this company purposely decline applications which is very unprofessional. You can do better.
I haven't had any of the crazy experience i have seen here, although i was a little shaky about their payment method few days back as it was my first withdrawal....I felt so because of the payoneer upgrade issue that took days, thought it was writingcreek fault because of the terrible reviews here. But i'm happy to get my money nowOne thing i have noticed with writingcreek, if you follow their rules, you have any cause for concern.I hope they don't change,,,so far experience is good
I went through the process and submitted the essay, based on the guidelines. Under 24 hours, I received an email indicating that my application is declined. Ironically, you titled the mail 'result of my application.' This was just a mere letter indicating that you are not engaging me as freelancer and not a result! If I was to learn from the mistakes or shortcoming from my previous submission, how will I know what it is that requires addressing? Their team seem to work on a template aimed at discrediting hard working writers who aim to onboard on their platform. I don't recommend.
This website should be reported for its suspicious activities. I urge everybody to check Trustpilot's "company activity tab" for writingcreek. The company hasn't even verified its details. Yes, I should have checked it before posting my project on it but my bad, I wasn't able to do it due to the heavy workload. If anybody knows their whereabouts please report them. They are scamming people around the globe. I don't even trust the positive reviews for this website. Seems plagiarised to me.
I'm giving 5 stars right now but I'm right now under verification process. People are saying they make you failed in process abruptly. No dude, I pass my test after 5th attempt but I learned and passed it. And then for essay if you copy or you had grammar mistakes you can't pass it. I passed my both tests and now I'm waiting for verification. For the people who are searching to get wether it fake or not. So I will give my review when I will start my work soon but for now it's not fake if your English is good and you don't copy paste thing.
HelloDue to poor Internet and the glitch, it was so difficult to upload the essay given to me for the test. And then I received the message that my application was denied 😔 I wrote the essay with with so much enthusiasm and dedication, even cleared the English test😔. So disappointed, wish if the writing creek team could do something about it and allow me to upload my essay.
They are expert in accusing and stealing your money, stay away from them!!!!! They will steal your information, money, and reputation. WritingCreek doesn't care about client ratings or your performance. They can create anything against you to terminate your account. They are illiterate, selfish, and fraudulent criminals. Beware!!!!
I complete all the step and even pay membership fee yesterday but there is no response from company..... How long should I have to wait ?? When I get my pay of submitted assignments ?
I have worked here for a month now and I am so grateful because the management is very helpful, support are on time and the website is so friendly. I am looking forward to a long-lasting cooperation here!
Honestly, writing creek is good until you get this message "Your access to new orders has been restricted to 0% comparing to the full orders access by Writers Department. As soon as the issue is resolved, access will be restored. Meanwhile, check your email box as some clarifications may be needed from your side." This is how they terminated my friend's account after taking about one month to reply to emails. Honestly, if you value your writers, why would it take you two weeks to respond to a single mail or solve a simple thing after one calling me.
This website do not hires anyone if you pass the Assignment and Essay they will make you wait for 10 days and then they will email you that unfortunately you couldn’t make a fit this time. My correct answers were 29/30 and a quality essay i have given 2 times but they are just scam be careful
I'm a full-time freelancer, working with three platforms: Upwork, writershub, and writing creek. Out of these three, I have come to like and enjoy the services offered by creek. This company is much more professional and user-friendlier. If you love reading and writing extensively, this is the best platform. Shoot your shot!
I opened my account when pandemic started and we all were on the lockdown. I thought it would be a great opportunity to test my writing skills and get some extra earnings. After a few months spent on this platform, I can confidently say WritingCreek can become a full-time job for you. Highly recommended!
At the beginning, a writer has to struggle to get orders due to high competition, but as time goes by, you start gaining the confidence of customers who assign you jobs. All in all, everything is smooth and legit. When you work with creek, you are guaranteed of your hard-earned money. I love the experience.

“Scammers and fraud”
Hi, I am an orphan and struggle for survival, but I do not meet my needs after my colleagues suggested this page. I talked with them and told them my problem is that I live in a rented room, and the job salary is not enough. I gave them my savings and next month's salary because they said it would last time, then you get my salary. Before 2 days, when they say after meeting, charges increased. I beg them, I have not much now. They say ok, I will answer tomorrow, but now they block my number. The house owner kicked me out because I didn't pay the rent, and I didn't know where to go because I didn't have any relatives who gave me space. Ya Allah they sewer they give 😭😭😭 Anyone help me plz least help me enough that I find any place for me Can someone help me. Any help me plz or lend me some money.

Very very bad experience with writing creek in Pakistan seriously they take so much investment but it's all lie they are fake they make you sure that there company is helpful but it's all fake they don't give you payment
“Scam in the name of writing creek”
There is someone (Faisal Khan) *******182 in Pakistan claiming to work for Writing Creek and he's just scamming people taking the money from them and not hiring them not giving their money back, and on top of that he just started cussing at me. I also want to know if there is any policy that asks you to submit 5 USD to get registered and almost 20-50 to get the work. For anyone wondering that 5 USD isn't even that much why is she making a scene, the only thing I want to say is that I'm from Pakistan and that amount of money can feed a family for a month in Pakistan. That's how we live and I want my money back.
“Writing creek scam work”
There is person in Pakistan Named Faisal khan, maybe it's his fake name but he said that he's the only manager in Pakistan of writing creek, he took 10,000 pkr from me, saying that it is to activate ur account and for the work package etc etc, he even gave me work, I gave him the assignments but as soon as I transferred the remaining money he blocked me immediately, I tried to contact him from different numbers but he cursed at me,I would suggest to not work with this company to save your time and money, I'm giving out his number so stay safe ( that bastards contact no:*******398)

“Sketchy”
They ask you to pass a ridiculously easy test that even an ESL speaker could figure out, but then ask you to write an essay on a random topic in 30 minutes (which as a teacher I know is insufficient time to give someone unless they have seen the material upon which the topic is based), and then they decline your application based on "undisclosed reasons". Since I've been writing essays for at least 20 years (in several different languages), hold two university degrees in language-related fields and am an educator who teaches people how to write essays, I find that highly suspect. Clearly it is not the quality of the essay which determines if it is good enough but some other arbitrary criterion. Furthermore, you only have one chance to apply and if you get rejected you can't apply again.
“Greatest fraud of the century”
Worst site that I ever came across. First I get an email saying that you have passed the test and now there are only few steps left. Send your official Id and diploma to become a registered writer on our platform. But later when i tried to login with my email, then that page is showing that I am not registered.
“Good review”
The best reviews on Sitejabber are typically detailed and informative, describing a personal experience with a website or business. You can talk about pros and cons, what you liked or disliked, and why you'd recommend it (or not). A good rule of thumb might be to ask yourself, "Would I find this review useful?" or "What do I wish I knew when I first found this business?" Reviews can cover the services or products offered by a particular website, but can also contain feedback about the content of their site (if it's a news site or a site hosting funny videos, for example). Basically, you can review anything that has a website. Tip for consumers:yes Products used:belts shoes e t c Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Low brow writing site run by illiterate buffoons...”
This is a writing site, an essay mill in other words that provides papers of various academic disciplines for those too lazy or unable to produce their own university work. That model is not the problem however, it is the morons that administer the site, they are uneducated, non-English literate morons, and this is an offense to your run of the mill moron. They have no idea what constitutes quality work and think that cover page and references go towards overall word count in APA 7 format. I cannot express my disdain and dissatisfaction with this site which, seems to align with the overarching sentiment as they hover above 2 stars in their cumulative review tally. A poor business model run by nitwits with zero academic acumen or even the ability to communicate beyond the canned messages provided for them in a scripted format. AVOID... Tip for consumers:There are many sites such as this that facilitate plagiarism by selling essays, look deeper and find a quality service as this one is scraping bottom. Products used:This is an essay mill, they produce academic, and I use the word loosely, papers for students on a per page cost basis.
“Terminated my account”
If you are seeking to have a long-term writing career, this isn't a suitable platform. They terminated my account, without any valid reason whatsoever. What was the essence of approving my account to work with them and then terminating it for invalid reasons? They are dream shutters and do not deserve writers.
“A platform full of racism”
There is this divorcee by the name Marla who terminates accounts on the basis of suspicion when in the actual sense it is racism disturbing her. I have been working with these people, managed to rise to the top level very fast with the number of returning clients I had, but because I am a writer from South Africa, I was accused of engaging in suspicious activities and that is how they terminated my account. I am sad because they declined my actual college documents and a video clip showing the same documents they used in creating the account. We can bring this site down for racism. “How can they test for the English language when they barely speak it themselves?”
So I applied to be a writer and after taking the test I was denied for not getting enough points. After noticing several mistakes during the test, such as omitted words and poor grammar, I went to look up reviews and came across this site. It surprises me that I failed the English test to become a writer, but the HR of the writer's department that you currently have responding to these reviews would clearly fail the test herself. How on Earth did she get her position when others who have a better grasp of the English language were denied? Products used:applied to be a writer
“Ridiculous”
All my answers were correct and I am confident about that but they rejected my application. I asked for the test result but they cannot disclose it! I have experience of nearly 3 years in this field and this looks sketchy. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Worst Experience Ever with bunch of Unprofessional(A BIGGGGG SCAAMMMMMM)”
Non-native writers stay away from this site. It is a big scam. These people will never let you grow because they're a group of racist people who will terminate your account without any reason. First, they will restrict you to orders without any reason then they will terminate it. They try their best to give you policies, which they don't follow. They did it with me. I will share some proofs here so you can publically see it. I know, they will delete it but I will continue doing it. I support all the writers who have shared their experiences here. PS: They have written on their site that as per their policy an account for suspicious activity will be blocked for two months, which is a big lie. Check the SS for both emails and you will know that they're a big scam. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“I feel cheated”
I work there. I say all this because of the percentage of the order price that we get. Usually an order can be $80 and you would be getting a disappointing $20. Customer service is good, the constant flow of orders is if you don't have any current orders, because if you do, you'll ne restricted from taking on new ones.
“Hiring process is SO SLOW”
Result of application took a month to get a result. Then, another 1-2 weeks for verification. The hiring manager is very slow in replying. It would take a week or two unless you bombard them with emails. They will ask you for documents then selfies holding those documents, plus a verification call. If you were not able to answer it once, they will decline your application without giving another chance to answer the call. Efforts of passing the tests and sending them the required documents will become useless because of not being able to answer the "once in a lifetime call". I hope you improve in responding to emails. Don't just collect documents from us then you will decline the application. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.
