I had gotten an estimate from my jeweler who quoted me about $5,000 less than what it went for at auction with Worthy! I will only work with Worthy for my quality jewelry and telling everyone I can!

After the sale I had to contact Worthy two times as to where our money was. Although you are told it would take 10 to 15 days, our money took a bit longer. We bank with an international bank not a local institution so the length of time was unnecessary.

“They did what they promised”

I had two Cartier Panther watches. I never used them. They just sat in my jewelry box. I tried to sell them at several jewelry stores, but the offers were very low, so I decided to keep them. I saw an ad for Worthy and signed up. After answering some questions I agreed to send them the watches for appraisal. I received an estimate on their worth and agreed to auction in hopes that I would receive bids higher than their appraisal (which was higher than other jewelry stores offered). In less than two weeks I had many bids on both watches and sold them both for more than I expected. Worthy sent me a check shortly after. I am very pleased with this company. They did what they promised.

Christine and Kurtis were helpful from the start and very agreeable when I wouldn't accept the 1st offer. The 2nd time around, we made double. Makenzie got in touch with me the very day I had planned to contact Worthy myself out of concern for how late the payment was. She wrote to apologize about the delay and was going to make sure she discovered the issue. Worthy states is the amount of time one should expect to receive the result of the auction is 5-7 days. My item was sold on the 2nd yet the check wasn't deposited until the 19th. It's not that I was desperate for the $, I feared something went horribly wrong. Again, however, they made the process simple.

After being frustrated by my interactions with local jewelers, including the one who sold me my diamond in the first place, I found the experience with Worthy to be just that, worth the effort. I wasn't completely happy with the final outcome, but to be completely honest, the outcome was much better than it could've been without the processes and people that Worthy brought to the party.

“Don't use Worthy to sell your jewelry”

Worthy's estimate of my ring was 7 times what they ended up selling it for. Then they offered me a $25 gift card for my trouble It's a scam. They didn't reply to my communications about my being unhappy for weeks, even after more than one prompt. I'm very unhappy with this company and have read many reviews written by people who had the same experience I did.

“My Custom Made Diamond Ring From Hong Kong”

Overall good. I was very disappointed at the final price. My ring was extremely unique. Literally one of a kind. I had hoped for double the money I received. Both TOP appraisals were very high. Plus it goes down to "Trust". As I don't see the buyers bids so as to authenticate them. I got quick replies which is good. But I felt the whole process from sending to receiving money took a long time. Especially when I didn't have any diamonds removed and put back on. I will use Worthy again.

“Not worth your time”

Tried to get me to sell my $3500 engagement ring to them for $365! Not to mention there is a 18% fee on top of this so I would only get $299 total! That's not even 8% value yet they said 298 were "interested" in it….stay away! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“A good option for selling”

Worthy offers a seamless process for selling your used jewelry. They communicate every step of the way and keep the process moving. They provide a one stop shop for selling, which leads to them taking a hefty cut of the proceeds. I ended up with less than 1/4 of the appraised value and less than 1/2 retail price. But I likely got more than a pawn shop or private sale with less hassle so if you just want to get rid of it and put a chunk of change in your bank account, this is a great option.

Excellent communication throughout the process except when it came to valuing the ring I was not told it would be valued based on the largest stone and no additional value added to all the other stones surrounding it

“Easy experience”

The only thing I didn't like is that the platform aggressively pressures you to set your minimum acceptable bid very low — I increased it by about 20% though and it sold. I think I could have gotten more elsewhere (or paid a lower commission) but it was worth it for me to get it done with little effort. The team was very responsive to questions and I got paid quickly.

“Wasted my time”

I sent in a ring and a necklace to sell. They had me take a picture of the ring and send it to them. In none of the communications did it say that the items had to meet their criteria to sell them. I mailed the items the next day and the day after that, I got an email stating that my items are not the kind of items that they want to sell. They had not even seen the necklace yet. The items arrived at their location and the next day they sent me another email stating that there was not enough demand in their marketplace to sell my items. They wanted to return them to a staffed fed ex location two hours away from me. Went thru all the rigamarole to get my items sent back to my home address. Would not recommend them unless you have very high-end jewelry. Apparently, that is all they are looking for. They should screen items better to save people time of sending their items in.
