I did the World Tesol Academy , 120 hours TESOL/TEFL course. What an experience! I was astonished at the thoroughness and complexity of the course when done properly. It completely exceeded my expectations. I expected a very basic course but instead reliased it was a comprehensive course. It offered additional resources with excellent online support. I think the course is well constructed and quite informative. There is a lot of good tips and most importantly, PRACTICAL advice on ESL instruction such as classroom strategies, instructional methods and assessment ideas. As a teacher, I appreciate practical things more than anything else so that was great. I do think some lessons are longer than needed but oh well, minor hurdle.Thanks.

Did a bit of online searching about this course (lots of similar options online from many different webpages/schools) and I AM VERY PLEASED I picked World Tesol Academy. The course is explained and laid out in a very clear manner. Lessons and tests are very straightforward and last but not least, the price was unbeatable. Did the course (intensively) and got my certificate in about 2 week’s time. Costumer service was also impeccable. Highly recommended!

I honestly felt skeptical of this course as well as its validition at first and wondered how a training course could be performed online. However, after carefully reading each MODULE & its detailed content, I did take note noticable points which I did not clearly understand, and I have to confess that the more I read the better and more clearly I got. The TEFL course is not what I expected it to be - it was so much more. Informative, detailed, and comprehensive, the course really helped me develop my understanding of ELT. As this is my first time to enroll in an online course, I was a bit anxious and unsure on as to whether it was worth it. My experience with the World TESOL Academy proved me wrong! With the whole course plus its weekly newsletters, tips, and general news, I really feel more knowledgeable and confident in my skills as an educator.

I came across the TEFL/TESOL Course offered by the World TESOL Academy through social media and I don't regret having enrolled for the course. I am a Sri-Lankan born Muslim and I have a natural flair for the English Language from my very early days... Though I was quite adept in the usage of the English Language in both written and spoken English by the time I had completed my G.C.E O/L (an exam that is the equivalent of the London GCSE) I still had no understanding of the reasons behind each grammatical rule, there was no understanding of the basics, such as the types of nouns and verbs etc. I have always craved for that education... And here I have been given a chance at fulfilling a lifelong wish of my bucket list, just with the right Academy.

This course taught me how an English teacher should be. The course had easy access to its each module. The division and choice of teaching material was researched quite well. Moreover, it was a great feature to add hyperlinks to read further on a certain topic. Quiz questions were to the point and tested the retained information in a comprehensive manner.

Information was very basic. Found mistakes like spelling errors in the actual final exam. Support was dreadful. It was liking trying to talk to a computer. Tutor was non-responsive to my questions. Then, she gave me conflicting information. I had to ask her 6 TIMES to pass off my question to another tutor. I asked the other tutor if the first one was a native English speaker. Her response? Michelle is a very good English teacher in my opinion. When I asked her point blank again? "I completely understand that it could be easy to assume that non-native speakers aren't as qualified to teach English, but I can assure you that it absolutely isn't the case."Did she actually think she could deflect and I would forget my question? I don't know but I would not recommend this course to anyone. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

I have successfully completed the 120-hour TESOL/TEFL course and I really enjoyed taking the course, it has been a very useful resource to add to my teaching credentials. I am excited to see where I will be able to use all this information and help students learn English overseas. This course was very well organised, and the instructions are very easy and clear.It is not necessary to be a native speaker (I am not) to take a course here.I highly recommend taking this course if you want to teach abroad.Thank you

The first few modules were like a refresher course, and were very helpful. It was a really good experience. I got to review the things I already know and learned some more particularly on techniques and tips on on how to teach and relay the information to others. It's convenient that there is a module we could access and continue to read whenever time permits. The user interface of the system is pretty easy to understand even on a mobile device.
