wirejewelry.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives wirejewelry.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 66.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 66.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to wirejewelry.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning wirejewelry.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between wirejewelry.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of wirejewelry.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of wirejewelry.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. wirejewelry.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether wirejewelry.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether wirejewelry.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, wirejewelry.com.

“Your company socks!”

I spent $180 on a double barrel rock tumbler two years ago with this company when it arrived the cord was broken it was split running down the wires and their way to fix it was just send me the new piece and have it done myself well I had somebody else do it and they did not do it correctly I have never to this day got to use my rock tumbler and they choose not to do anything about it so they suck they're a crappy company and crappy relations with people Tip for consumers:I would think that when I called to complain about the rock tumbler arriving broke that they would have sent me a shipping label to send it back to him and they send me a new one instead of sending me a piece for wiring which I am not an electrician and tell me to fix it myself this company sucks Products used:Wire jewelry... professional ...double barrel rotary rock tumbler Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Wire Jewelry lost a customer of more than 10 years”

I have been a long time loyal customer, who has spent plenty on this website... I have been a Gold Club member for years. My recent interaction with their customer service over a back ordered item has made me a former customer. I won't name names... agent was rude, sarcastic and made excuses for not responding to several inquiries I made via email. Made excuses for not passing me along to her supervisor or someone higher up. I'll take my business to Rio Grande going forward. Prices are about the same even with the Gold Club discount factored in and so is shipping. Service Value Shipping Quality

“Poor quality products and Worst Customer Service Ever”

Bought double barrel rock tumbler, it was the worst experience ever, faulty product (spinner stopped working the third day and motor was making a very loud noise) besides the worst CS ever. It's terrible dealing with CS, I bought through Amazon and company said they'll replace to not return. They waited 3 weeks to send and this was after a lot of back and forth emails, my 30 days period with Amazon has gone to get full refund. After 3 days after Amazon timeline was gone they send another faulty product and when returning they said but we won't return you for the rocks and the grit does are not the problem when the CS lady clearly stated everything must be returned for refund. Anyhow, don't buy from this company is the worst experience ever and very difficult to get your money back. CS has no customer service they treat you the worst. Tip for consumers:The company has very bad customer service, offer warranty and replacement but make you go through too much before they help, their products are all faulty - got replacement and it was the same as the first. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY Products used:Double barrel rock tumbler - not good quality!

“SCAM”

I had been looking for a specific wire gauge and someone recommended Wire Jewelry.com. Well THAT was a mistake! Not only did I not receive my order, but its been weeks since I requested a refunded and they have not issued my refund! I tried calling literally 50 times over the last 2 days, and I'm on hold forever, then receive an automated message that "no one is here to answer your call"! Pretty sure I've been scammed at this point!

“I'm very disappointed in my experience with wirejewelry.com.”

There was a problem with my order. I asked them to solve it, but they did only partially, and said they weren't going to do any more about it. Some customers are stinky and can't be made happy no matter what a company does. I'm not one of those. I just wanted the $6 they still owed me -- in cash or store credit, either would have been fine. After they flat out told me they weren't going to do any more than they had to fix the problem, I sent a letter to the owner of the company. I never heard a peep from him/her.

“Offered a discount and free shipping but would not include it”

Online they offered a discount for buying now, plus free shipping, but would not include the advertised free shipping. They had no chat available and did not answer the phone. A very poorly run business if not quite a scam. And I see online they often do not ship timely. Better to shop from a reputable seller.

“Questionable gauge of silver wire which is labeled incorrectly”

I ordered 2 packages of 25 ft silver filled wire for jewelry making. I compared on package to the other one and they were not the the same gauge. I Called and it was past 30 days I purchased it 60 days and they did not even care that they sent one incorrect gauge. I was not looking for money back just to correct the error in packaging. I was told they no longer carry silver filled wire so apparently I got what was left over. I explained I would buy silver wire at a higher cost and was toldI could place the order but no credit or exchange was offered. I know I it was past 30!days but they sent wrong product. I am stuck with a $28.00 worth of silver I can not use. The woman was rude and they discontinued the product for a reason. The company does not put customer first even when it's there error Tip for consumers:No thank you Products used:Could not use the silver wire I purchased Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Will not give you full refund if something breaks”

Bought a rock tumbler and because i did my frist batch before i found it wasnt working. I called for the label to send back and get the refund and they said due to the barrels being used i only get half. Honestly if i was going to know i wasnt getting a full refund i would have never gone with them. No i lost over 90$ and i have barrels with no rock tumbler. Stupid way to handle business esp. When i just wanted my money back Tip for consumers:Dont not buy anything from this company Products used:Rock Tumbler Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Scam”

I purchased a rock tumbler from Wirejewlery.com, an alias of Home Jewelry Business LLC., in Ogden, Utah. The machine came with two belts. The one snapped after a few hours of running, and after switching for the replacement belt, that one broke as well. There was also a fine white powder accumulating from grinding inside of it. After contacting customer service, Kay Strom contacted me and suggested that "the motor position needs to be adjusted a little bit." I paid for a working product and should not have to repair or modify the product sent to me after a few hours of use. I received this product and it has promptly failed in multiple ways. (Snapping both belts and grinding/shaving down internal mechanical parts) I also already own another rock tumbler that this one seems to be a knock off of and costs 3X more. I replied that I am firm about wanting a refund and they stopped responding to me. I am concerned that this business may actually be a scam and I would like my money back. Tip for consumers:Scam. Go to harbor freight for a better model at 1/3 the price. Products used:WireJewelry Rock Dual Drum Tumbler Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Great prices, very SLOW shipping, so-so customer service”

The past two times I have ordered, the wait time for the order has been horrendous. Placed an order September 1st and it was finally shipped September 19th. Just made an order on November 20 and it is still in "warehouse" status. I e-mailed. They're waiting on a tool shipment. Never informed me that my order was being held up. Couldn't they just ship what was in stock and then ship the other orders coming in as "backorder"? This is the same thing that happened on the September order. Never any updates as to the status of the order. You, the purchaser, have to inquire. I am a gold member and have ordered thousands of dollars of merchandise. I would think customer service would be a tad better. Afraid I'm going to have to pass up their sales (which are good) as I can't be waiting around for supplies to come in. I have orders to fill. Now I have to contact my customers to let them know their order is delayed because of the hold up from Wire Jewelry. Bad, bad service.

“Incomplete package”

That's my first time I order from wirejewelry, because of the price and jumprings that I couldn't find anywhere, but the packages are not complete, I mean they have to be pack of 10, but not. It's just about 1 dollar, but I can't trust them to buy for second time from this site. Besides there's noway to contact them.

“GREAT PRODUCTS AND PRICES”

I'm disappointed by the reviews I saw. I got quick ship which was very low. The products I got was just fine. When I called CS about an issue, they were very kind. Products used:Cabachons, wire, pliers Service Value Shipping Quality

“Lowering the standard”

Wirejewelry has been my place to buy since their name was Wiresculpture, I became a gold member ages ago and I was satisfied enough to come back over and over, until lately. Maybe they changed CEO, or management or... because a simple wire order it takes -I'm not kidding- 15 Days to arrive, the variety in wire has dropped, no full hard precious metal except in hair thing wire, no bronze wire, slowly lowering the bar. This past month, the order before this last one took seriously 15 days to arrive -Did they moved to China?- and this last one is still at the warehouse waiting to be filled and then, shipped. It will be again, 15 days. In between I got more sterling wire from Amazon and got some at a shop close to my home... because Wirejewelry became unreliable except if I buy there when I don't need the supplies. -Ridiculous, isn't it?-. What a shame, I really liked the place. I'll let you go, I need to go to buy wire I Need to a shop close to my home again, because the one I'm Still Waiting has nor even been shipped.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet.
