I made a donation to the Trump campaign through Winred. It was supposed to have stopped at the end of the campaign, but kept being deducted long after that. When I tried to contact Winred to discontinue the recurring donation, no computer was able to log into their website from the link provided, so I called them instead. Their customer service is an AI with no access to a real human. The AI pulled up my account but not the history of charges. The only way to shut it off was to have the credit card company send them a letter and stop accepting their charges. Though Winred is popular as fundraising company, donors should think twice before giving them their credit card number.
We need a class action lawsuit.
I set up a monthly donation to the Trump campaign through Winred, after a couple of months noticed that I was being charged multiple times a month and as much as eleven times in a single day. The only way that I could stop the charges was to cancel the card, as it was happening almost on a daily basis. All attempts to contact Winred or the Trump organization failed.
I gave redwin a one-time donation. They took out the payment and then continued taking them out. I called and raised cain with them. They did refund my money. I see Calif. has a lawsuit against them for doing that.
Same here, except i'm still waiting on a confirm. to ensure it's not a "recurring" as stated in my bank account. It does not say what the pmt is for. This happened a couple years before. DONE WITH THEM!!! And letting the agencies who use them know!
Win Red is the biggest scam going. When you make a donation there's a box there if you want to make your payment recurring you don't even have worry about checking they do that automatically. Made a donation to Donald Trump when I run In to that. Then I'm checking my credit card statement There's a charge of $255 on my bill but I get to checking it's been going on for 7 months. Talk about white collar crime. Yes I just asked for a congressional investigation, I hope it happens.
In October of 2022 I contributed $1,000 to Donald Trump from my checking account. Five weeks later I balanced my checkbook. These thieves had taken thousands of dollars from my checking account. I called USAA bank and after a couple of days I got all my money back and Trump didn’t get a dime! I get a lot of requests for money but when I read down I see that these crooks are behind the solicitation so I don’t send money. I’ve attempted to contact each candidate and explain I will never give another freaking dime to winred. If they sent me a real address I would send a check. Ron DeSantis is the only response I’ve gotten. I am a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran and live on a very limited income. If I ever get confined to a room with a pencil neck from winred, I will ruin his day. They are crooks and thieves. Hope this helps the next pilgrim at the slaughter.
I have made a number of small ($10, $15, etc) donations to the site over the last year or more, while paying close attention to those tiny (tiny... "recurring monthly") blocks on each site. I also "spread out" the dates whenever I did donate, just to keep track of each donation. Sometimes, the donations were either partially (or never) "taken" by the particular date, and this aroused my suspicions about the (very) "sloppy" bookkeeping employed by Winred - or the aggressiveness or some callers. After an experience in 2012, when I also donated over the phone (when a larger donation...e.g., $25, etc.) was found on my credit card), I realized this was not a secure way to donate either. The best way (IMHO perhaps?) MAY be to write a check. Since (usually) the best "wisdom" in life is hard-won... and I am "long-in-tooth", any accidental phone encounter with solicitors will find me practicing my rebuttal(s) with those determined guys - and curtly reminding them that most of my "favorite" politicians are MILLIONAIRES, and I am only a lowly "thousandaire"! Yes, we do need to support our candidates, but the current methods are a bit wobbly. All such transaction methodologies must be better constructed - for transparency and accuracy. Same goes for the DOMINION MACHINES and FAKE BALLOTS, as well as the FBI, IRS, Pelosi's fat derrier sitting on the (In-House Congressional Insider) Trading Bill.
These are democrats running a scam to steal money from seniors. They are about to have their throats slit open.
I have used this site and fount it very reputable. I have donated to multiple state and national candidates, including President and candidate Trump. I easily cancelled a recurring donation and was able to speak to a c/s representative. Trust this site.
The comments I am reading on this site are dated 2022. It is now 8-20-23. WinRed did much of what I have read from others to me. I have blocked the site again and again but STILL get their texts! It is beyond annoying!!
Win Red has stolen from me, my brother and my good friend Scott. Win Red took unauthorized monthly donations. All three of us life time conservative givers aged about 60 years old are not giving anymore. Republicans are allowing us to be ripped off. Eugene
Republicans really need to ditch this company - it's gotten to the point I won't donate to a candidate if WinRed is in charge of the fundraising. Why? Because I know I'll be inundated with spam texts and emails for months to come, and replying "STOP" to these just makes it worse. WinRed claims they aren't in control of those - to get in touch with the sender. Also, I recently donated $20 for a candidate to receive a pen. Not until after I paid was I notified I would be billed $34. Why? $14 shipping fee for a small pen! WinRed is a racket and a ripoff. An embarrassment to the candidates it fundraises for.
RedWin is scam. They trick you by turning one-time donations into recurring donations and then make it very difficult to shut down the fraud. Ironically, these guys are endorsed by GOP.
When I checked a couple years ago, their address was fake in Washington D.C. this fake address was on their website. Now it looks like they don’t have an address on their website. They took my one time donation and made it a recurring monthly donation without my authorization. They are evil scammers. Don’t give them a penny. Donate directly to whom you want to donate to.
Winred has taken over 3K from my checking account in 2024 and 2025. I didn\'t authorize these so-called donations. If there is ever a class action suit I want in on it! I haven\'t been able to get a response from them. Now I\'ll be contacting our state attorney general, the national attorney general, the DOJ and Marco Rubio. The local police have said that they want a report, too. This is the 2nd time in 2.5 years I\'ve lost money to scammers. Winred got to me just like they got to you. My only income is Social Security. Now I\'m overdrawn every month.

I noticed a number of comments indicating that responders had unlawful withdrawals from their accounts after donating to Trump’s campaign. My involvement with this organization didn’t extend to providing a donation so I can’t speak to unlawful withdrawals. However, I can describe a little about the unsolicited text I received. It was filled with malicious, libelous falsehoods, with the potential to incite aggression and violence against innocent people. The message was designed to look like some kind of an official warning, with dire consequences if a petition wasn’t signed and a donation included. In order to see the extent of deceit, and intent to harm through defamation of character; potentially leading to targeted aggression of anyone or group they don’t approve of, including opposing candidates, by strongly intuiting that the only way that could happen is through election fraud.
