wincofoods.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives wincofoods.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 64.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 64.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to wincofoods.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning wincofoods.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between wincofoods.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of wincofoods.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of wincofoods.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. wincofoods.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether wincofoods.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether wincofoods.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, wincofoods.com.

“Waiting in long lines”

The prices may be really great but the service in this place is not good at all there's eight people in every line only four lines open and nobody from the management team will come to help on the registers. People work in the registers are moving like molasses. Maybe that's how they keep the prices low. Products used:NA Service Value Quality

“Great quality grocery store items at prices lower than Walmart.”

This is the best grocery store I have been to. Quality foods at a fraction of the price any other store that sales the sake product offers. What is also great about this grocery store is that you can buy products from cereal, to variety of nuts, to flour, and even chocolate, by weight. You just fill up how much you want in a bag and write in the number provided for they product. Also, by the press of a button, you can make your own peanut butter from actual peanuts right there- buy it by weight, old that is how you prefer. This place beats all stores in better selection, better quality, and better prices, for sure. Organic veggies in produce are available as well.

“Winco food inFontana California”

Thus place is trash employees don't care about customer service. I was waiting on the line for 40 minutes to pay Only 5 register open each line 15 customers. I rather pay more and buy it from Ralph or stater brother.

“Working conditions”

I worked there for one year as a night shift shelf stocker, I was very over worked and under paid. The management was awful. This was the WinCo foods located on state street and horseshoe bend road in Boise. I never got any time to myself and only got one night off of work per week. We could keep anyone working there because it was 12+ hour shifts and only making 13 dollars an hour was not worth it. I then moved on from then to Costco and that was the best transition from a job I have ever had in my life Tip for consumers:If you are thinking of having your kids work there, it will be the biggest mistake you will ever make Products used:Left to another store Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Quality store with cheap unsanitary broken shopping carts”

WinCo in N. Fontana, ca. Has serious issues with their shopping carts. First off, they are unsanitary. They sway when you push them and jolt you due to bad wheels. WinCo has the worst carts in the industry. As consumers who support this store we deserve better. Shane on you WinCo, you raised your prices, so raise the quality of your equipment for the public Service Value Quality

“Winco's Website Won't Win”

Winco's website's search engine/platform is terrible. You can't find a thing you're searching for. I've tried to find stuff on their website since October of 2021, and even in February 2022. I still can't find anything I'm searching for.

“Soups at Winco 4.29 same as Wallmart at 2.18”

I paid 4.29 for rich & hearty progresso chicken & home style noodles soup. The same exact soup at Walmart was $2.18 and I found Safeway even higher Nothing like ripping us off Tip for consumers:I can believe companies keep saying it’s from cost, poop it’s all about profit Products used:Walmart is a lot less and the exact product, the Walmart we shop at is in st. Helens or you would think they would be higher!

“Best grocery store”

I find WinCo to be the best grocery store in town. The best customer service, produce, meat, bakery, deli...a pleasant place Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Awful service”

Horrible self check out cashier SCO 2 in Kennewick, Washington store #*******. She was very rude! I never had this bad experience before at this store. She was mad at me and threatened me to cancel my groceries I already scanned because I didn't want to check out at different cashier in person instead I was willing to spend my time to do self check out by myself. Service

“Steaks”

So I bought three different packages of ribeye. Got home they looked wonderful I packed them for a freezer got them packed in there fired up the grill about a week later and threw a pack on. They were so greasy so today I tried another pack and this time I'm marinated them I threw him on the grill better but still greasy I've never had rib eyes taste like they've been soaked in oil before I won't be by my steaks there again for sure

“Bad experience made "right"”

After the bad customer service experience, I received an e-mail from BrendaB at Winco, who was more than courteous and helpful. She put me in touch with the manager Sean, who was very accommodating an apologetic for my experience. He offered to exchange or refund my purchase. I really wanted the exchange so I am going there tomorrow to get it done. Very nice to have a positive outcome!

“Winco is rasing prices by as much as $2.00”

Winco was the place to get it cheaper, not anymore take a look at coffee, $5.48 for three lbs now still $5.48 but now only 2lbs? Thats a $1.82 per lb, now it's $2.74 per lb? This is wrong, it when up $1.84? Min. Wage went up but also the cost of living, who is making more money?

“Doesn't enforce nadks”

I have shopped at Wyncote for over 25 years but I will no longer go in as it risks my health. They said that mouse are mandatory but they do not enforce it. Went shopping with my 80 four-year-old mother whose Phone volunrable to Covid 19 and 1/3 of the shoppers were not wearing masks Or were wearing them incorrectly like just hanging off their face. Albertsons and Walmart in force the mask wearing they may be more expensive but you won't be risking your life and they seem to care about their shoppers.

“Never again!”

The staff here (905 NE 136th Ave, Vancouver, WA *******) are extremely rude. I went shopping a little OVER AN HOUR BEFORE they closed yesterday. I don't venture out to shop much now out of respect for others due to the coronavirus, and when I do, I wear a mask. I purchased a lot of items - $320 worth. As I was checking out, Gabbie, the cashier, was giving me snide looks, purposely crunching my grocery items against one another on the line belt, picked up and slammed my bag of chips on the line belt, all while not wearing a mask. I shared my experience with family and friends and we all agree not to shop here anymore. Customers deserve better as in respect, courtesy and safety from our local retailers, especially when you spend a lot of money at their store and during trying times. There is no "We're in this together" at this store. Shop elsewhere.

“Winco foods employees no good”

SAMANTHA needs to be fired. Her behavior is unacceptable. She must be on drugs running through the store harassing customers. Accusing me of stealing Oreos because my daughter happen to drop a few Oreos on the floor. She made a big scene over some oreos. She wasn't even my cashier, she went behind the cashier that was handling my purchase to scream at me and say that My two year old special-needs daughter is stealing Oreos / dropping Oreos. The cashier SAMANTHA went behind Indulged in Samantha's actions. She entertained Samantha actions and for what? Miserable women at its finest. SAMANTHA walked around the whole store gossiping about my special needs 2 -year-old daughter. No one said Samantha thats enough, be professional. All them employees in there acting like some old high schoolers. GROW UP! Winco employees NO GOOD! Fire & rehire because this yelp review is only the beginning. “Bad/TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I've been shopping at this winco store in Arlington, Tx since day one of opening with no issues or problems but over the months their DELI WORKERS ARE HORRIBLE, WITH THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD ATTITUDES EVERY TIME I ENCOUNTER THEM.THE OLDER BLACK LADY WITH A GAP IN HER TEETH AND THE OLDER WHITE LADY…. THEY HAVE THE WORSE SERVICE EVER SO EITHER YALL SHOULD HAVE THEM RETRAINED OR REPLACED ALL TOGETHER CAUSE ITS RIDICULOUS!

“Micromanagement”

I worked there for 2 months. They have people in places that are not qualified. Shane in transportation has never drove a truck. He sits and watches people on camera all day like a snitch waiting to tell on someone! If you hire someone you should allow them to do their job. They claim their the safest company in the industry. They only service 30 stores in places that are not hard to get too. Plus they drive at night with little traffic. They also can't give you a schedule. Your called everyday at noon to choose your route. That's so pathetic when you just got off work at 10 am and just fell asleep. They are the worst grocery chain to drive for. If you want a good job that just wants you to do your job and give s great benefits. Go to Safeway. They don't micro manage! You will need to have great driving skill or you won't like where they send you! Sharon and Shane need to be fired. Poor management wasted miles. They don't know how to utilize their equipment. I came back empty 90% of the time instead of doing backhauls or cleaning up stores. Tip for consumers:Stay away Products used:Stay away Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Coupons”

I received a flyer in the mailbox on Saturday August 12, the last day of the sale. No way of getting to the store on Saturday. I'm wondering if it was done on purpose. Service Value Returns Quality

“Not fresh!”

I bought 3 packages of some prepared sushi (2 California rolls and 1 salmon roll, total price $24, just yesterday, September 12,2021 and it clearly not fresh. The cucumbers and the crab meat tasted stale, the rice was a sticky wet mess, absolutely terrible. I also bought what was supposed to be a pecan pie. Didn't taste anything like a pecan pie, again, stale pecans on top of a disgustingly sweet sugary paste. Felt like I was eating a glob of that paste, and nothing else. Of course I tossed all the rest of the good away after only a few bites. Sucks after having to pay for all that food and then not eating it, because it wasn't edible. Wasn't even worth it for me to feed the seagulls and other birds. The submarine sandwiches are dry, one can easily choke on them while eating. The guy at the fresh food counter was not wearing a face mask or gloves while serving me and other customers. On top of that, they're talking about other people in an insulting way and very loudly, so other customers can hear them. Overall, low quality food, fresh or packaged. Your prices are not that much lower than other supermarkets anyway. You will never be able to beat Super King's prices! Will not be going back! So goes the saying, "You get what you pay for". The WinCo in Ventura on Telephone road. Service Value Quality

“Don't buy the frozen chicken legs”

I went to WinCo on West Bell Ave in Glendale, AZ. As u entered u noticed a freezer to my left full of chicken leg quarters. They had these 10 lb bags for $7. I thought it was a good deal so I bought one. It took a while to defrost it but I managed. It smelled bad even when it was frozen. I took the skins off and washed the leg quarters. I cut up three large onions, some garlic and some green peppers and roasted the chicken with all that and put several spices on the chicken, any meat would have lost its funky smell with all that but not this chicken. I don't know what was wrong with these chicken legs but no amount of cooking would help and they haven't come up with a spice that could make those chicken legs suitable for human consumption. No matter what I did or how many spices I used this chicken was absolutely disgusting and it smelled like road kill. I don't recall what the brand was, some generic brand but it was awful and I probably will become a vegan after this. I have even boiled it for hours in tomatoes sauce but it is truly revolting. I tried feeding some of it to the neighbors dog and even he didn't want it and that dog is a pitbull that eats everything. I would like to sue the company that provides that foul and piutrid chicken. Honestly I would not feed that to anyone and WinCo should not be selling such disgusting product to anyone.

“Manager given the right to discriminate”

Store # 0125 Today for the first time I visited a WinCo Store to make a business purchase on a recommendation from a fellow business owner. I needed ham for a catering request so I purchase a few hams and within 30 mins after the leaving the store the customer cancel so naturally I went back to the store within the hour. The store assistant manager Bethany said the company policy does not allow returns on perishable items. I asked to see such a policy in which she could not produce. Then I proceed to asked her where in the store it was posted that let the consumer know of such policy on perishable items her response was " there was none posted but it exists in the company policy" one that she could not produce. I then asked for the manger above her and again she is only one and gave me business card for corporate. I proceed to go online to WinCo's return policy and there was nothing stated on perishable items. So in other words the Store Managers have the power to descriminate on which customers to accept returns on. I will never return to WinCo or recommend this store to anyone. Buyer beware.

“Pretty goopd”

I lost my virginity in the family bathroom here. Very pogchamp. I feel bad for the children who had to witness it though. 8/10 Tip for consumers:please dont tell my mom Products used:belt Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Produce sucks”

I love Winco and their prices. However, the produce doesn't last long. It's either not ripe or over ripe. Tip for consumers:The only thing I don’t like is the produce. Service Value Returns Quality

“Affordable nd great selection”

I like winco is the only store with great selection of stuff from mexican asian into american products. Even mediteranian goods! And so affordable. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
