whoppah.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives whoppah.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 73.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 73.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to whoppah.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning whoppah.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between whoppah.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of whoppah.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of whoppah.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. whoppah.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether whoppah.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether whoppah.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, whoppah.com.

As a seller, be careful with Whoppah. I have sold two armchairs through Whoppah and was initially happy, as the buyer payed good price. But after two days the buyer cancelled the deal. Whoppah left me with a hundreds of euro's of costs for shipping back and forth. Whoppah does nothing to protect the seller. Without any reason a buyer can cancel a deal. Yes, you can sell your design stuff for a decent price at Whoppah, but there are high risks
Great seller interaction and also good support from whoopah support during transaction and further pick up process. Everything went well and it looks as if this is a great platform for design item resell.
I am very happy to share my positive experience with purchasing a design carpet via Whoppah. The carpet arrived in impeccable condition, neatly packed and free from any stains or blemishes. The seller took great care in ensuring the carpet was delivered in a pristine state, which I greatly appreciate. The transaction itself was smooth and hassle-free, leaving me completely satisfied. I am truly pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this seller.
Purchased two lamps and a dressoir from different sellers. The whole process was very straightforward and the items were exactly as described on the website. The delivery via whoppah for the dressoir went very smoothly. All in all no complaints whatsoever and I would recommend the site to anyone.
I very much appreciated de professional attitude of the team.I also appreciated the level of quality of the products : it put your item into a valuable environment.Plus, I have had 2 problems, and they managed to help me.
12 days after purchase of a chair and paying for it, no concrete view on either delivery or refund. Ultimately refund received. Pity but heyho
After an initial delivery delay the team jumped behind our order and made the impossible, possible to delivery in time for our high profile event. Excellent customer service! Thank you!
Chats---Only part of the chat is visible in the Chats function, and if I want to see more historical seller chat information, I have no way to find it unless I start a conversation again. Can this be improved please?
Horrible customer service. I used to like Whoppah but after the recent purchase I'm not going to use this website ever again. The couch that I purchased turned out to be too large to take inside the apartment, and it had more defaults than was advertised. Don't believe them when they say their collection is curated. It's not curated, basically anyone can post and the seller of the couch didn't properly post the stains of the couch even after I asked for them. Now I'm trying to reach them via mail and whatsapp but they aren't getting back to me, even when I indicate that my case is urgent. The couch is literally sitting in the hallway of my building, blocking other neighbors. Stay away from this company. UPDATE - 31st of MayThis issue was resolved in a very professional and thoughtful manner by the customer service. So I'm going to adjust my review. But it was resolved only after I rented a car to drive to their warehouse in Utrecht and demand for someone to speak to. It's a pity that they don't have a phone number you can call for urgent cases like mine.
A great experience from start to finish. Product is excellent and the seller responded quickly. Customer Care answered delivery-related questions and the delivery drivers were very friendly and positioned the table exactly where we wanted
I recently ordered a stunning lounge chair from Whoppah, and I must say, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, everything went perfectly smoothly. The standout stars of this experience were undoubtedly the delivery drivers, Lukas and Zoie. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile were truly impressive. In fact, I was so impressed with their service that I had to ask for their names just so I could give them the recognition they deserve. Not only did Lukas and Zoie deliver my new lounge chair promptly, but they also went above and beyond to assist me. I had some difficulty moving certain items in my room, and without hesitation, they offered their assistance. Their willingness to help me rearrange my room made a world of difference, and I couldn't be more grateful. All in all, my experience with Whoppah was outstanding, thanks in no small part to the exceptional service provided by Lukas and Zoie. It's rare to come across such dedicated and helpful individuals, and I wanted to take a moment to compliment them here. Thank you, Whoppah, for not only providing a beautiful piece of furniture but also for having such wonderful and caring staff. I will certainly be recommending Whoppah to all of my friends and family.Warm regards,Gerald
Great products! Easy and straightforward transactions. Fun shopping for unique items and timeless designs.
Everything was positive about my experience with Whoppah except delivery. I was quite surprised I had to wait an entire month before the piece could be delivered. I wish Whoppah would have made this clear before purchase. A month later we were so excited to receive the piece, but on the day of delivery (an off day for me from work) - we were told the driver was sick, and the delivery was scheduled for 2 days later. Concern then arose 2 days later because when I went to "track my delivery" - the piece was said to have arrived. After cancelling plans (that in the end didn't need to be cancelled) - I heard from the delivery driver that there was a mixup - the piece initially couldn't be found that morning - but was located in a DIFFERENT vehicle and would finally arrive in the afternoon. While we're happy with the piece - but I wish Whoppah had been stronger on communication (I did not expect a 1 month wait) and actually receiving the piece entailed some unnecessary hassle.
The shipping company Whoppah uses is atrocious. They are called Vintage Express. They sent me an email saying that my furniture was going to be delivered on the 26th April. I was tracking the truck on the website and I saw that it was closed to The Hague but then it started to go again back to Germany. I called the seller and they said that Vintage Express hadn't picked up my order and that it was scheduled for the 30th. I sent an email to Vintage Express and they said that they were not going to pick up the order on the 30th and that I would receive an email to tell me when. I received an email today 2nd May saying they are going to deliver 10-12th May. I called them because we aren't going to be home then and I've been on the line for 20 minutes and no one had taken the call. Awful. I placed the order 3 weeks ago...
I found exactly the table I always wanted and it was delivered 5 weeks later and it was like described and offered. I like Whoppah!!!! :)
The fee for sellers did not pop up prominently, I made loss on my designer armchair because I was not aware of the fee. The buyer assured me he will pay for the delivery and I thought that was the only fee but it wasn't.Answer to whoppah:When asking about selling price and automatically suggesting bidding price please also show in a separate field what a certain selling price means in terms of net return to the seller. 12.5% is mentioned somewhere in the uploading process but it should be a separate field also immediately showing how much a seller will actually make when it is applied. It is really simple. In my case the buyer realized I am new to whoppah and used it to his advantage negotiating a lower price since I didn't know after the negotiated price I will still pay 12.5% fee.
After some really poor communication with your staff and no notification from the shipping company, we found our chair in our garage yesterday afternoon. We are glad we bought the chair, the seller was helpful and eager, Whoppah on the other hand did not help us and only sent us misleading or standard text messages and we had to wait weeks without knowing what was really happening. So I will not give you a good rating on Trustpilot - your service is lousy! We really wish for an improvement, because the idea and the platform to trade used furniture is great.
Levering kon je volgen via track and trace. Zetel is in perfecte staat
Customer service not available on the phone, by email and by WhatsApp. No support. my product arrived (250 euros a lamp) packed with trash and it is not authentic. No reply from support, but luckily the seller is responsive. I bid by mistake on an 2 items, impossible to remove the bid, how come? I am trying to find a solution with the seller who understands the mistake. The customer service does not reply... to remove my bid, it is really a pity as the concept is interesting but really hard to work with the company who apparently does not care about the sellers and buyers. HELP.Please help. Please respond to my requests and remove the bids which are not helping sellers to sell their items.
In this day and age, recycling and the circular economy and all that jazz seem ever more attractive and Whoppah support that idelogy.Too bad they're really lazy about communication, customer service and quality control.I've waited a month for my chair after receiving a form in Dutch (I don't speak Dutch) on the day of purchase, asking me to pick a delivery date and it took 2 calls after failed emails and Whatsapps to get someone on the phone to clarify for an actual delivery date. The chair now just came and it's in ok condition, but really nothing special, at least I'm recycling.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
