wholesalehunter.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives wholesalehunter.com a medium trust score on the platform: 61.4. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Small Risk. Standard. Active.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this lower score? We came up with the 61.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to wholesalehunter.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning wholesalehunter.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between wholesalehunter.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of wholesalehunter.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of wholesalehunter.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. wholesalehunter.com is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether wholesalehunter.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether wholesalehunter.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, wholesalehunter.com.

I bought a rifle they advertised online,I paid and selected 2 day shipping.....this was 7 months ago and still no rifle nor refund. They always tell me it's on back order or they're having delays.I have hired an attorney at this point. No calls returned,no emails replied to....NOTHING.Stay AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY,I'm now seeing the hundreds of complaints on this place, should've checked BEFORE I BOUGHT
Tried to work with support at Wholesale hunter for a couple weeks so that I could get bullets (not ammo, just copper and lead bullets) sent to me. The support 'person' I spoke to twice was so preoccupied and apathetic to my situation, you could hear the laziness ooze through the phone. He said it is normal for two boxes of bullets to cost $118 to ship by air and it wasn't their fault, it was UPS's fault. Finally, I called in asking to talk to the primary manager and after talking with her for a minute (odd the website does not show her name as the manager or any other position) she just hung up on me. Disgusting customer service with no desire to actually help customers buy their products.
They Have a very poor system for picking out a Scope. I purchase one and they sent me another, and said that what I had ordered. I order a Ball Plex and received a Balliseticletic Plex. The Ball Plex has an AO and a different reticle. The Ballistic Plex has Side Focus with a different reticle, but they have the same number #200341. They told me I order from the Picture of the Item, on Gun Broker Ball Plex #896243674.

“Just your old fashoned scammer business”
They use the term "Stock Photo" to get out of the fact that they post items for sale on their web site and a popular auction site called Gunbroker.com and send customers something different. They blame the Mfg for the photos when you complain and they refuse returns based on the stock photo reasoning. I wish I had looked at their feedback and reviews before making a purchase from them because it seems they do this Bait & Switch process a lot. Every site they sell from they have the same type of negative feedback. Buyer Beware Tip for consumers:I ordered a black and white WWII M1 Garand cleaning mat for a wall hanger. They sent me a full color mat with business names, logos, .com address, and it was spread all over the mat so it was not able to be displayed. This was total bait and switch and then they refused to accept responsibility and send me a return label refusing the return of the wrong item which they sent me. Products used:I did not get a usable product from them. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“No Complaints”
January 2016 - I placed an online order with WholesaleHunter, and afterward decided to research them a bit. Obviously I should have done that in reverse order, but it was too late. After reading the reviews I felt sick and was sure I'd made a horrible mistake. The merchandise arrived lightning fast, well packed, and exactly as I ordered. I have no complaints and whatever problems they had in the past seem to be corrected, at least as far as I can say from my experience.
“Great Store With Helpfull Staff”
I stoped into their store today to pick up some ammo for my gun. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and even picked up some reloading supplies while I was there. Their staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. If you are in the area I woild recomend stopping in and seeing what they have.
“Bait & switch practices”
I'm writing in hopes others might learn from it. I ordered a lot of ammo, and it was a complete bait & switch thing. As a consumer, you find what you want online, then buy it. If i wanted a 'Mystery Box', I'd not have searched so hard to find exactly what I wanted. What I wanted was a particular style, jacket and weight. Defense bullets. What I got was some stupid BT match rounds! Wrote my displeasureand was given some awful excuses. Telling me even though they're match rounds, they're just as good as used solely for defense. I wasted just under $500 I this order and got the crap they couldn't sell apparently. NOwhere did I check (or uncheck) a box that said I'd be happy to let this company chose FOR me, what they think is best. Instead of what I chose myself. Crooked company! I still tell all I can of their horrible business practices. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Never again!”
Ordered and paid up front for AR,was told it would be 2 days maybe less when I could pick it up...now 3 months later and no AR and cannot get a return call back for refund...STAY AWAY,BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Never buy from them”
Ordered one item they changed it to another then said you get what we sent. World not exchange it or accept a return. They are crooks.
“Billed twice”
I bought an item, put it on a CC. I got the bill snd paid for it. Now they keep on billing me for the same item. Not a good company
“BAIT AND SWITCH!”
BAIT AND SWITCH! I found ammo at wholesale hunter ridiculously cheap. So I ordered a lot of it. They charged my card and then (my best guess) they realized their website error. I never received a conformation email, only the credit card charge. I called them and they said they had no record of my transaction. I called visa and they fixed it. Will never buy from them in the future and I warn everyone.
“I purchased an x change kit for my sig on Friday the...”
I purchased an x change kit for my sig on Friday the 12th after talking to someone there and making sure it was in stock. The item was ordered 2nd day air. Called Monday the 15th to get a tracking number and was told I would have it by 5:30, money was taken out of my account that day. Tuesday the 16 th I called after not receiving a tracking number and was informed their warehouse had a power outage. Later that day I received an email stating that fact as well. Wednsday I called and was gave the run around again but was told the warehouse had power but couldn't tell me were the order was. Still no emails and no tracking number. Thursday I called to the same story, Order hasn't been picked yet but Mike told me he would check and email me. I received no email, so I called back and canciled my order. This company should be avoided by all means. I subsequently reordered from a competitor and received a follow up call telling be the exact date to expect it by.
“"Ordered 20 boxes of. 22lr ammo”
"Ordered 20 boxes of. 22lr ammo. Wholesale Hunter stated that the ammo was in stock. My Credit Card was charged $400 immediately. The order was changed to "processing" and three emails and three phones messages requesting clarification went unanswered. Eleven days later and Wholesale Hunter emails are being returned and the web site is down. I finally got through to Kevin at Wholesale Hunter on 12/01/2014. He stated that the server was down and that he would call me regarding this order. It is now 12/03 and more emails returned and the web site continues to be down. I have contacted the credit card issuing bank with these details. Watch for a follow up to this situation. Kevin was very quiet when I asked him why my credit card was charged if the ammo was not available. VERY QUIET! Watch for a follow up to this situation! The Web site is now up and I sent another email, this time to Kevin. Their response will be posted here. EMAIL SENT TO WHOLESALE HUNTER: On 12/01 I spoke to Kevin who assured me that he would call me regarding my order. Many emails previously have gone unanswered regarding this order. Wholesale Hunter charged my credit card immediately with no explanation. I have contacted the issuing bank regarding this charge. If the ammo is truly available then the credit card charge will be allowed. Currently I see no reason to believe that Wholesale hunter is acting I good faith. Hopefully this issue will be addressed and I will be a customer of Wholesale Hunter. Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
