One of the Mickey pumpkins I ordered arrived damaged because it was just loosely packed in a box with no packaging to keep it from rolling around. I received a size medium when I has ordered a size small. I received an immediate response to my customer service email on Monday morning to either refund or exchange the costume. Travis is ordering a replacement costume for me and sending it right away. Thankfully I didn't need the costume for a few months, so the delay was no problem for me. The costume was very reasonably priced and got here quickly and in great shape. The Edward Munch, "The Scream" costume was a huge hit with my students in our theatre arts class!! Everyone acted out a monologue about what the guy was thinking in the painting as he was running across the bridge. Three elementary school classes took turns acting in the costume piece and the costume still held up great!
I had never heard of Wholesale Halloween until this year but I am very pleased. Their selection is way better than the more commonly known Spirit Halloween or Party City. Quality was also better than expected. Will definitely shop here next year for my Halloween needs.
The package was received timely, however it was not the same as advertised. I could see that it was a different color through the package so I returned it without opening. We needed the gown to be white or cream and the sash to be red as advertised. The gown appeared to be a checkered tan color and the sash was burgundy. I did not open the package because those colors would not work for our program.
Great products and prices. However shipping is very slow still have not received items yet and the tracking through DHL is not working properly.
The costume arrived a few days late. The mask part of the costume arrived horribly distorted. It caved in to itself and was unwearable. It took over an hour of careful and patient manipulating to get it to look good enough to wear and actually stay in place (YouTube has some good how-to videos). We had to put some extra velcro in the back of the body portion of the costume (there are gaping holes at the top) and some extra velcro on the belt for better adjustment. After that, it ended up being a decent costume.
Between placing my order and having it delivered ON TIME, Wholesale Halloween Costumes made this such a seamless process. They saved me for my daughter's class party by getting the ordered items to me well ahead of time. Very grateful to them and I will be using them for any future parties.
My package never arrived after 10 days I sent an email as I was unable to get tracking number to give me any information . I didn't get a return email for almost two more weeks . But I did get an explanation and a refund. and an apology. I don't believe it was totally wholesalehalloweencostumes fault as shipping problems are getting worse .
I paid extra for expedited 2 day shipping on Oct 23rd and was promised it would arrive Oct 28th. It did not arrive until Nov 1 and there was no way to reach anyone over the weekend. What kind of Halloween costume store is not available the weekend of Halloween?! I have called multiple times during ‘business hours’ and the line drops. I’ve emailed about 4 times both via the site directly and the email mentioned on the phone message…I’ve received one response saying I’ll be refunded the extra shipping fee. I want the rest of my $ back being that I missed out on my company event and ran out last minute to get another costume in time for Halloween. I’m so disappointed on all aspects.

After contacting wholehalloweencostumes they “guaranteed” I would be receiving my costume that same day but still even 1.5 weeks after Halloween it has not arrived. They are now sending me a return label with an expiration date to return the costume I still do not have. Please stay away from wholesalehalloweencostumes.com because this feels like scam and have had to dispute the issue with my bank.
Customer service is great, and my order came quickly, but a light saber I ordered was missing. That was last week, and was told I would receive a replacement, but haven't seen it yet. Hopefully, I will get it this week. The red and blue plastic shields were thin plastic, and the arm holds on the back broke on several of the shields. I do not recommend these shields. The Dollar tree had far better ones, but they were sold out when I went to get more. A Spiderman/Venom costume was spot on. Great quality. My Halloween costume items were not delivered until Nov 1, causing me to not be able to celebrate on Oct 31, Halloween. Delivery was botched up, even though as late as Thursday, Oct 28, your call center representative said that delivery was certain to be on Friday Oct 29 or if not was guaranteed to be made first thing on Saturday Oct 30 by DHL. But your company used two delivery agents, DHL and USPS which any good businessman would know is a fatal mistake. The items were shipped on Oct 25 Monday and I paid extra for "expedited" delivery. “Shady”
I purchased an item from this company and maybe I should have been more careful. It was not clear that they were going to charge $8 for shipping, which close to being the same price as the item. It also was not clear that the item was going to arrive 6 days after Halloween. This all became much clearer after I made the purchase, so I immediately emailed them to cancel the order, but they said it was too late. I tried calling and was not able to get a live person on the phone. Instead, I was being asked questions unrelated to the purpose of my call. They were asking if I was over 50 or 60 years old and even asked me to send them $1.99 to receive a $100 gift card. Very Shady!

“I am not sure how this site is still in business”
I ordered a party supply pack from wholesale Halloween costumes and they pulled an subterfuge on me. They offer up selling on shipping only to create a subterfuge as to keeping your money and holding up the ship time on your product. They have this catch phrase when calling the customer service. Advising that if you order something they can not change or cancel the order until it arrives to you late, incomplete or irrelevant to your event. I ordered on 12/16/15 upgraded my shipping to 7.99 to receive by 12/18/15 only to receive an email after wards to say I have something on back order and they will ship soon. WHEN? Why not ship the majority of the order? Why hold up my order and delay my expedited shipping for your own profit only to send me my objects after the event and when I am unable to use them. This is a scam to allude you to their website and they take advantage of your eager need to receive your products on time as ordered. Please review this company BBB
“Waste of time”
I looked at all the horrible reviews and decided to buy from them anyways because most reviews said they ordered a week or two weeks before Halloween. I was ordering 2 months before Halloween so I figured it would be fine. Only one of the four costumes I ordered said it was on back order. Two weeks after I placed my order I called them to see why some of my costumes hadn't shipped. I was informed that if one is on back order they don't ship out your order until they have all of them. I asked if I should be concerned about getting it by Halloween and was assured that I didn't need to be. Two weeks after that it was almost October and I called again. This time I was told that all of the costumes were now on back order and they didn't think they would be getting anymore in this year. Wow I was shocked. They cancelled my order and I purchased from a reputable store.

I ordered a skeleton onesie for my Donnie Darko costume. The picture online was perfect. The package was a day late and was missing tracking info for 24 hours. Finally it arrives, the picture on the package matches the picture on the internet. Ok, good. Then I pull the costume out... it's not even the same as the picture on the package! The sizing is awkward. The crotch to shoulder length is short and I'm only 5'5", it's supposed to be one size fit all. Do not order from them! I am very disappointed in this website and customer service. This place has TERRIBLE customer service. My father passed away suddenly before Easter and I tried to Cheer everyone up with a bunny visiting them (hence the costume), but not ten minutes after I ordered it I emailed customer service to please cancel my order because we found a costume for less. It was a Saturday so I waited until Monday and called to speak to someone. They said it would be impossible to cancel my order even though it was still in the warehouse? I have since tried to return it with a label they tell you they will give you if you get in touch three months within your purchase and because THEY WAITED to get back to me three months they refused to and I had to pay the $60 to return the $90 costume. Now no one will return my calls or emails. Just a horrible business and I hope this deters people from the scam they are pulling.

I pre-ordered a mask and about a week later went back to the site to check the status of my order, only to find that it had been cancelled. No email notification. Nothing. So I checked the item again on the site, only to discover it had DOUBLED in price! I called them and talked to a representative that assured me it was a mistake, and that if I placed another order, they would honor the original price. So I went ahead and re-ordered. I was supposed to receive my order on Monday i found out they shipped it to their own warehouse and not to me, i followed up and was told that it would be shipped out immediately and on the day it was to be delivered i found out that they never even called the courier to pick it up. “SCAMMERS”
Ordered 10/18 - shipped same day. Should receive 10/23. Order never came. Chatted online (because no one answers the phone) with Lyn. She gives me a USPS tracking number, even though they originally sent me a UPS tracking number that never updated, and tells me UPS delivered the package to USPS and I will receive it soon. Waited around, package never comes. Chat with Jose on 10/26 - gives me the same story and says the tracking works for him and I would receive my items by the end of the day. Few minutes later, he tells me he "highly suggests" I wait 24 hours. Now I'm annoyed but what can I do? I sit around all weekend hoping my kids costumes show up because they're sold out everywhere else. Monday 10/30 - still no costumes. Get online and chat with Jose again who tells me he checked the tracking number again, the same tracking number that, by some miracle, worked for him on Thursday, and it looks like my items NEVER shipped. At this point, I'm positive he knew that on Thursday and Lyn knew that even before then. I'm offered a full refund that will take "3-5 days to process after the 1-2 day approval time" and still no costumes. This company is a scam - there were never any costumes - and the people who work for them are liars. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!
