I had over 50 bottles of whisky ito sell and to be honest, I was finding the task a little overwhelming! However, a short call with the team soon put me at ease and everything was plain sailing from there on in.Duncan and Kev gave a 1st class service and I was amazed at how quickly they got back to me with estimates on each bottle! A testament to their knowledge.All in all I had a great experience with Whisky Hammer and would not hesitate to use them again!

I had some whisky bottles sitting in a cupboard gathering dust at my parents house. I'd left them after moving to Australia. I'd squirted various bottles from my days working in the Whisky industry and there was no point in keeping them so after a bit of investigating I decided to use Whisky Hammer to sell them. The process was easy and extemremley professional. While I was back in Aberdeenshire visiting be I opted to drop my bottles off in person to the office in Udny which was easy to find and they walked me through the process of registration online while I was there. I've already recommended them to friends who have done bottles the no longer want.

Completely unfamiliar to selling whisky, or anything of value, I was very nervous. I did significant research including Trustpilot, comparing the main players in whisky auctions. I contacted most of them directly as well for valuations and explanation of the fee structure and process.I went with Whiskyhammer in the end and they far exceeded my expectations in every way. They were extremely prompt in their email responses, very courteous and helpful beyond measure.My first bottle sold in the range they suggested and my second received bids to just below their expectation, so has been re-listed as I placed a reserve on it.There is no commission on sellers, so my total fees were £6 to register, £7.20 per lot admin fee and a £12 voluntary reserve fee (all including VAT).I would like to mention a special thanks to Duncan for all of his help throughout the process and to Stephen, who collected my bottles and transported them to Scotland using the Whiskyhammer van, free of charge.Faultless service and I have received the funds from the sale into my account within a week of the end of the auction.

Although I was fully aware of their great reputation, I was still apprehensive about selling some of my Whisky collection given it was the first time I'd ever done so and had no idea of how too. I reached out for a guidance valuation, which Duncan at WH replied to promptly and this gave me some assurance (without commitment) that the figure I was looking for was in the right ballpark. WH website has lots of useful how-to guides and I found the whole experience enjoyable. The best part is tracking the bidding process which is both nerve wrecking but exciting and by the end WH had sold my lot(s) for a little bit more than expected. Very Happy!

Fast response to my initial email extremely helpful and polite people, there estimates are very accurate and paid me quickly with no messing about. Best of all for me they have there own professional collection drivers who did go above and beyond for my pick up. Having had bottles broken by couriers in the past this was clincher for me.

I had never thought about selling bottles before or even knew that you could. I contacted Whisky Hammer with details of the bottles I had and they replied with valuations by the next day. I agreed to sell them and within days I met Stephen who collected my bottles from Kent and two days later they were in Aberdeen by the end of the week they were in the auction.
