wayfair.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives wayfair.com a low-to-medium trust score on the platform: 47.10. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert..
We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 47.10 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to wayfair.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above.
Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning wayfair.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between wayfair.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of wayfair.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of wayfair.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below.
A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns.
wayfair.com is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether wayfair.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether wayfair.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, wayfair.com.

Never order here!
Was wrongly billed for items marked delivered but sent to incorrect unit/,building. After reaching out to the ceo and resolution team I received no assistance. The photo doesn't even clearly identify anything and now im out of a few hundred dollars. Save your money shop somewhere where they care about their customers and make sure you get your items. Tip for consumers:Don’t shop here there’s better options out there Products used:Sofa Value Shipping Returns Quality
Sent wrong item then threatened to charge me for it.
I ordered 4 bar stools off Wayfair. I vowed 4-5 years ago never again to use them after they didn't stand behind our pool chairs and just deferred to the manufacturer. I caved. We need new stools. I ordered two pairs. Two of the EXACT same thing...and got 2 bar stools and a mirror. Is this some cruel joke? Maybe look at the reflection of the two and voila! 4 stools! Then they made it difficult to return the mirror (their fault) or they were going to charge me for it as well. Wayfair is just a clearing house front door for any old furniture company and doesn't care anything about the customer experience. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
Cheap crappy products from 3rd party China sellers
Bought a $200 ergonomic office chair which came looking so cheap and parts literally thrown together in a CHICKEN FEED BAG FROM CHINA (see pic). They tried to give me $35 back but it wasn't worth even $100 so I returned. First customer service rep said they'd still have to take $12+ for shipping whereupon I was like uh no. Not when it's the stores error so I called back and got a different agent to help me. Bad experience that made me realize Wayfair is just a site for 3rd party sellers. No quality control. Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.

Are You the Owner of wayfair.com?
If you own wayfair.com, we would love to hear from you. However, if you would like to challenge this review and trust score, we are more than willing to take a deeper look, but be prepared to offer solid proof of your business. Please introduce yourself first (your name, not "Admin"). Consumers are smart. Typically, they don't trust websites that don't show transparency, such as the location of the business, team, or any other physical existence.
When domain owners contact us to challenge the trust score of their website on our website Validator, we would kindly ask them to share some of the following things:
* Details from their ecosystem that would show that they are 100% trustworthy (certificate of incorporation, business registration, official records showing the name of the website or business, etc.).
* Their personal profile on LinkedIn and social media accounts for the business on Facebook.
* If possible, some screenshots/proof of satisfied clients (not testimonials on their website), proof of inventory, canceling orders when requested, etc.).
We are more than willing to update the review right away—the more proof you show, the higher the trust score will be.
