watchfinder.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives watchfinder.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 90.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 90.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to watchfinder.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning watchfinder.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between watchfinder.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of watchfinder.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of watchfinder.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. watchfinder.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether watchfinder.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether watchfinder.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, watchfinder.com.

- Score: 4.5
I have purchased 12 watches from Watchfinder. They are all fantastic pieces. I would absolutely recommend Watchfinder to all of my friends. Watchfinder is a great way to get into the industry for normal folks. With normal size wallets.
I think Watchfinder sales associates could do better at answering all questions posed to them by their customers. Secondly, being able to anticipate the follow up questions would help create a sale faster. For example, if a listing says it has box/papers but no picture exists, simply replying that the watch comes with it is not helpful, show me the picture. Likewise, if an item has things missing, it would be helpful to know that up front. For example if a watch has box/papers, and extra straps, but the straps are missing; it is a bit disingenuous to say the item is complete without the straps that would normally be there. You should make it easier on the customer and tell them what is missing without having the customer become a forensic tech to ensure they understand what they are getting. It is a lightly shady in that regard.
Great selection of watches and excellent service. I told Anthony I was traveling later in the week and he shipped my watch the same day and it arrived the next. The watch is in mint condition and is everything Watchfinder said it was. Will definitely do business again.
Excellant customer service. Watch arrived in perfect condition. After the purchase of a 1998 Rolex Datejust, I noticed I could use an additional link. I inquired, not really expecting to be able to get one, and Anthony Nguyen replied immediately that he would be happy to send me one. I was expecting to have to purchase the link, but a few days later it showed up in mail, free of charge. I will definitely be a returning customer!
I recently had a fantastic experience with Jay at Watchfinder. He went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. The service was amazingly fast with no issues. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend Watchfinders. Keep up the great work!
I would recommend, they were able to resolve a stolen watch being delivered to me as well as get me two additional time pieces for my ten year wedding anniversary in time.
The level of customer service from the point of selection to payment to delivery is exceptional. After having looked at different companies offering Rolex watches, it is quite clear to me that your level of customer satisfaction is second to none. I highly recommend your company to anyone looking for a Rolex watch, and I surely will be shopping with you in the future. Well done!
The most important part of a business is customer service. If customer service is great, that company will be a hit. Watchfinder customer service is one of the best I’ve experienced. Can’t say anything about it except I wish they had a store location in California!
This is an excellent and trust worthy company. They have a great selection of watches, vintage and new or like new. I bought my husband a Rolex and the transaction was so fast and easy. We received the watch within 2 business days- signature required. I returned the watch and bought another that my husband liked better and the return process was easy and fast. The company provided a return label for overnight delivery and the refund was processed within 24 hours of receipt. No questions asked. We are very happy with Watch Finder and will buy from it again in the future. Customer services also gets 5 stars. They were readily accessible and were knowledgable about their products and about the buying/return process in general.
My experience with Watchfinder has been an absolute disaster, and I am beyond frustrated. While the purchasing process started off decently, everything that followed has been an ongoing nightmare that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It all began when I consigned my IWC with them. They managed to sell the watch, but the entire experience was riddled with problems. There was no communication from their end—I had to constantly chase them for updates. To make matters worse, they tried to pay me less than what I was owed! Thankfully, after what felt like endless back-and-forths, they finally resolved it, but it took far longer than it should have. Looking back, this should have been my warning to avoid Watchfinder altogether, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to purchase a Rolex Explorer from them. That was a huge mistake.Soon after receiving the Rolex, it became obvious something was wrong. The watch started malfunctioning, there was water inside, and the movement had completely dried up. This was absolutely unacceptable, especially considering the premium price I paid. They claimed an expert had thoroughly checked the watch before it was sold to me, but clearly, that was a lie. No one who actually inspected the watch would have let it pass in this condition. For a company that charges a premium and positions itself as a trusted source for luxury watches, this is beyond disappointing—it’s infuriating. When I contacted them about the issue, things went from bad to worse. They emailed me saying they had sent the watch off to Rolex for an inspection, and that I’d have to wait 30 to 35 days just to hear back. This wasn’t even for a fix—just for an inspection! I cannot stress enough how ridiculous this is. Something was clearly wrong with the watch from the moment it arrived in my possession, and they expected me to sit tight for over a month? What kind of service is that? Even worse, they told me several parts would likely need replacing, meaning the entire ordeal could drag on for even longer. So not only did they sell me a faulty watch, but they also failed to show any urgency in addressing the problem.Meanwhile, I had £6,200 tied up in a watch that didn’t even work! To make matters worse, I was the one constantly having to chase them. After a month of waiting and no real updates, I requested a refund. I was told that someone would call me back that same day, but, of course, no one bothered. I left voicemails and continued to follow up, and when I finally got through to someone, they had the audacity to claim they had sent me an email. There was no email. It felt like they were making up excuses to stall, and I was left feeling completely ignored.Their attention to detail and customer service are shockingly bad for a company of their size and reputation. After all of this, they finally sent me packaging to return the box and papers, but guess what? The box they sent was the wrong size—too small to fit everything! It’s just one failure after another with Watchfinder, and it feels like they couldn’t care less about their customers.I will never purchase from Watchfinder again, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to reconsider doing business with them. They clearly lack the professionalism, communication, and accountability needed to sell luxury watches. If you do decide to deal with them, make sure you document every conversation, every email, every call, because when things go wrong—and trust me, they probably will—you’ll be left to fend for yourself.Avoid Watchfinder at all costs. It’s simply not worth the stress, frustration, and disappointment.
Watchfinder made it really easy to pick out a watch and send it to me within 2 days of purchase. Product quality was excellent. Look forward to buying my watches through watchfinder.
The experience was absolutely top end. All communications with WF were professional and accurate. The transaction was handled very well. The watch met all expectations.
From the initial start of my search for my Rolex I immediately took notice that their website was extremely easy to navigate. It certainly helped to have actual pictures of the watch I was looking to purchase on the listing. From the time I made the purchase I was kept in constant communication about the status of my watch. I also recieved a personal email from the president of the company thanking me for my purchase. The watch arrived on time and great packaging. The watch met the exact descriptors that were on the listing as well as the photos. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase! I will definitely be purchasing my next watch from here.
Great product, accuracy, shipping and follow up. I would use again.
Sales rep was communicative and prompt, prices were competitive. Probably the longest shipping time I’ve experienced and the watch arrived in a box that looked like it had owed someone money. Outer and inner boxes cut, watch retail box cut and open, watch unrestrained inside presentation box, etc.
Since my first experience with Watchfinder last year (2023), it became my go-to place to buy and sell my watches. They have great prices when you are buying, easy process when you are selling and always a great customer service. Shout out to Jay Wingo (US Sales Lead) and his team that always provide me with quick responses, pleasant and effective customer service.
I sent them a watch via their insured Fedex. The watch went missing in transit. Fedex confirmed that watchfinder received it. I am currently working with them to see if FedEx is responsible for the missing watch. I will update this review as soon as a resolution has happened...update: The company has been absolutely fantastic, and they have worked with me to completely resolve the issue. I cannot even begin to tell you how relieved I am, and I would highly recommend this company. They absolutely exceeded my expectations!
Sold a watch through Watchfinder. 4 month old IWC, pristine condition, running beautifully. Under an 8 year manufacturer warranty. An already low-ball offer from them was lowered further by £150 for a 'servicing fee'. This 'service' of a timing adjustment and case refurb would be free under the IWC warranty. When I challenged this the customer service agent said I was not able to speak to the manager who made this decision and that the managers say was final. The agent became curt and firm in his language. A very short, unhelpful conversation which was not ideal given it was the first time anyone at Watchfinder had answered the phone for an entire week! I do not recommend this company to other watch buyers and sellers, use platforms like Chrono24 and do it yourself. Most buyers and sellers on alternative platforms are much more pleasant to deal with. You will also get a better price if selling, Watchfinder justify their offers as based on market value but a quick review of market prices on a platform like Chrono24 show a very different set of figures. Taking advantage of vulnerable people is not a responsible business strategy. Shame on you.
Watchfinder gives Great customer service and understands the needs of the collector. They’re always ready to accommodate if there are any issues and determined to work towards your satisfaction. I especially want to shoutout Jay Wingo who’s been my go-to advisor for the last 2 years and everyone else in the team, including Daylan and Anthony. I’m a loyal customer.
Anthony Nguyen was the customer service rep. I was in contact with via email. He was awesome! He quickly answered all of my questions and concerns. I had an amazing experience with Watchfinders and would recommend it to all my friends

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
