vox.co.za Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives vox.co.za a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 66.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 66.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to vox.co.za's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning vox.co.za, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between vox.co.za and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of vox.co.za. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of vox.co.za, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. vox.co.za is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether vox.co.za has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether vox.co.za boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, vox.co.za.

Took money, over 2k from my account, 5 months AFTER I cancelled with them not doing there job and collecting a router whichive had emails begging. Still waiting for my refund. THEY DO NOT care about customer service. Just another service provider with incompetent people and no urgency to fix their mistakes.
Bad service. We struggled for 2 months with this company. Now when I want to cancel they all of a sudden replies to everything and sending invoices out almost every day
This company is nonsense.my account is 9210622. I cancelled WiFi extenders with them and they said they will come collect their extenders. In the first place when I bought these extenders I chose to pay for them on monthly basis for a year. Later I was informed they were rentals and I was not going to own them at all. I decided to cancel and tell them to come collect their staff. They did not send anyone and on 13 November they billed me R3000 for the extenders and put a suspension notification on my fibre connections. I called them on 18 November and inform them I will return your extenders on Thursday. Today 20 November they went on to switch off my fibres and my businesses were severely affected. I called them and they are demanding the payment or immediate return of WiFi extenders. I am in North West only coming to deliver their extenders tomorrow 21 November. This is the kind of treatment vox give. I am speaking out for anyone out there thinking of using their services
Woke up to a R2000 rand bill I don’t know for what, after not having internet in September I cancelled my VOX services, I just want you to know that I am ready for any kind of blacklist you have. As for giving you 2000 for what god knows what it’s for I will not be paying. This company needs to be closed down. They will give you super good service when you start but the internet will be down all the way.
Extremely Disappointing ServiceI am beyond frustrated with this company. I paid for my WiFi service, and despite the money being taken, my service was disconnected. I reached out multiple times for support, but no one responded or offered any help. It's been 12 days now, and my issue remained unresolved. Absolutely no effort to rectify the situation or assist me in getting my service back. Terrible customer service and unprofessional behavior. I would highly advise against using their services. They sent me from pillar to post trying to fix my line. They have absolutely no knowledge to assist customers with mess ups that they themselves have created. Please save yourself and try other service providers as vox is totally useless.
Thanks for the geat service and kingness from you Lize, i would recommend you above others, welldone
If I could give this company, 0 stars, and report them to authorities, I would. Not only is this company filled with the most incompetent staff on this planet, they also are unable to do the most basic tasks, reply to emails within a timely manner. I have had a website, which has been down for who knows how long, and yet, voila I am still paying. I am still waiting for my domain to be returned to me, and it has probably been around 2 weeks now. I am absolutely disgusted at this company, an absolute embarrassment. Call yourself a tech company - it is actually laughable ! I will continue to spam your emails, spam your telephone lines and this forum, until you do your job properly. Good luck as I am about to make your life VERY difficult.
I was very pleased with my experience at Vox expecially with the help of J.P
I must thank Loané and Johannes of the Mossel Bay Vox team. They are very visible and always available on their numbers even after hours.I'm very impress with the Vox Vobi that allows me to make all my calls day and night for only R149 a month! In this challenging times every saving count. Thank you Vox Mossel Bay, you deserve a 5 star!
Initially good service but took a while to initiate my plan and then once terminating became a nightmare, suddenly extra ‘cancellation fee’ even though I waited out the 12 month period and called in advance to enquire when would be the best date to cancel to avoid the fee and took their counsel. Then the delivery service didn’t collect so they billed me the router cost. I have had multiple calls to correct both incorrect charges and have been assure they will escalate it but never receive any follow up. But they are very good at reminding me of my outstanding fee that is accumulating interest. A nightmare. AVOID.
My Fibre has been down for a week now. I have to call them daily with no solution. All they so is update your ticket. They keep promising that a technician is coming out but nothing to date. Between them and Vumatel they are the worst providers. Definitely looking at other options now.
Actually vox fibre do not even deserve a star been out connection for over two weeks now been on constant Communication with them and they told me this. “I am very sorry you had to experience this encounter. Metrofiber closed the ticket without a resolution.” I don’t know how many times the Matter being escalated and nothing happens, soo much of inconvenience my daughter and I can’t even work. Wouldn’t advise anyone to use them !
We moved to our new home on Saturday and paid for installation 3 weeks ago. Vox has refused to let the line go due to a previous tenant being behind on payments and says we can wait up to a month and sit without WiFi even though we have nothing to do with the previous tenant. Every phone call is a dead end with no follow-up or escalation. We have called numerous times for assistance with no help. This is ridiculous!
Terrible experience with Vox telecom.Getting the connection alone took over a month. The cancellation of their services also proved to be a nightmare. I sent notice to cancel their services. They responded with a email saying they will pick up their hardware on the 3rd of October. On the stipulated date, I received no call from themselves or the courier company. I then get an email from a Courtney saying my account is in arrears and that I need to have the hardware delivered to them. I tried to explain that I received no communication from them or the courier but because the courier said they tried to contact me that’s what they are going with. I’ve asked numerous times to be provided with proof that the courier company made attempts to contact me and she refused citing the POPIA. PAPIA how when I’m asking them to show records of them or the courier company CALLING ME?? With date stamps??? Stay away from VOX TELCOM and save yourself a headache
My 90 year old mother has been without WIfi for 2 weeks. All her emergency phone, panic button system all depend on internet service. Not to mention her contact with her family on Whatsapp, her online banking, her emails. She has NOTHING. Vox are nit fixing the issue, just keep telling her to resdet. This is shocking customer service for a very vulnerable old person. They are taking advantage of her age and her inability to assert herself and insist it is addressed.
So I've been with Vox for almost 2 yearsA week ago I asked them to allow me to leave by 1 November because their service is terrible. I have a 50mbps line but get 5.60mbps connection and pay over R700pmJerome (the manager) then calls and sends a technician out and says oh he will bring a different micotik box because it's faulty. A technician comes and says he is not doing anything. This isn't his problem. He only guarantees internet if it's with a lan cable. Today a week later I WhatsApp in. They do a software upgrade and they corrupt the box. Now no internet. Again. Manager Carl Winn Calls. I've never had an agent sound so disgusted to me talking to a client in my life. Tells me it's my fault for calling in. That's why they upgraded it and it corrupted. I should have had a back up router cause he has one. Also need to use my mobile data to get a reference as he refuses to give one. Then has the nerve to hang up If this is your service, okay. But please release my line.Refund me my month subscription And allow me to move on from y'all. This is horrid that I'm begging for service all the time!!
I've experienced lost Internet connection over the weekend and made contact with Adriaan Buitendag to assist. Within the same day he got a technician to come out and resolve the issues. For anyone in the Polokwane region that needs fast and reliable assistance - get hold of Adriaan. He is the best
I have been a faithful Vox customer for years. I signed up for a UPS, many years ago and paid a monthly fee, every month for m UPS. I decided earlier this year, that I don't need the UPS anymore and cancelled. I got an email on 10 April 2024 with collection details and reference from Vox, stating their courier would collect. Their courier never collected, and the UPS has been laying in my drawer, at work, ever since. Every month, my bill has come, I pay my R919 for my internet (which I find out now is a rip off) and there we go. All off a sudden, forward to October 2024, 6 months later, I get a Bill for R699 for the UPS, "that I failed to return" and if I don't pay the R699, my services will be suspended. I replied to my billing and the contact person was Larry and I explained the situation and said that Vox never collected, and I don't want it, I haven't had it for 6 months. They can collect the UPS. I'm not paying for it and they cannot suspend my services as I have paid for my services. Well, surprise surprise, this morning 13 November 2024, my internet services have been suspended. No Internet at home, which means no working from home. No work means, no pay!!! So now, you are messing with my income!!!!! I phoned in and had to wait 20-minutes to get through to an agent who was not helpful at all. I'm just being told that Vox's policy states that if there's an amount outstanding on the account, services will be terminated, doesn't matter what it's for. I explained everything very nicely (a million times) and he got snotty with me!!! Unacceptable!!! Now I must utilize my own resources to send the UPS back, and only when they have it back, will they re-active my services. So, I paid for a service in full, and I'm not getting it, so does this mean that you are not providing the service that I paid for, are you going to give me my money back? I will DEFINTELY be cancelling with Vox at the end of the month and use a new service provider!! No one needs to be paying for something like this!!!!
Excellent service from vox but a big thank you to FRANKLIN OOSTHUIZEN for his excellent work responding in seconds with messages and calls Keep up the good work franklin5stars to youLauricha Booysen
Dont answer phones, cut u off no warning because u overlooked a R55 increase on the R995 a month installment . No acknowledgement of payment so u hav to keep phoning unanswered lines, can't escalate complaint, bosses must be so arrogant to talk to customers. Dont deserve my money. Too much negative to say in this space!!! Horrible!!!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
