visionpros.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives visionpros.com a medium trust score on the platform: 58.8. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to visionpros.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning visionpros.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between visionpros.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of visionpros.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of visionpros.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. visionpros.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether visionpros.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether visionpros.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, visionpros.com.

“Worst Company Ever!”
Ordered some Chopard sunglasses from Vision Pros USA. They arrived damaged so I wanted to send them back. They only give store credit. Turns out they are located in Canada. They won't cover shipping so I have to pay to return them via international post at my cost which is super expensive. I thought it was USA? So now they sent a second pair and they are damaged as well and won't take them back. They won't give store credit either. And to top it all off they are dismissive and rude by email and chat. DO NOT do business with these thieves. You will regret it immensely. Tip for consumers:Horrible company. No refunds, no credit, and rude and dismissive. Sell junk products that probably aren’t even authentic. Products used:Broken Chopard sunglasses. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Defective contact lenses”
I received a box of defective lenses. I jumped through all the hoops required in order to remedy the problem. After numerous chats, I was told they were unable to send replacements or give me credit. I would not recommend this business.
“Poor customer service”
Contacts were fine, but terrible customer service. Priority shipping stated 1-3 days so paid extra as needed them ASAP. Ordered on a Tuesday & got them the following Monday. Instead of trying to be helpful when contacting them all I got was a list of excuses as to why that was acceptable. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Contacts have yet to arrive”
I would not have been encouraged to write a review had it not been for the terrible response I received from customer service. I purchased contacts on 5/14/2020. The tracking advised that I would receive these on Friday 5/22. They also advertise on their website that shipping is 4-7 days. It is now 5/24 and the package isn't even on its way to my home. This is 10 days from when I purchased them and 9 from when they were supposedly shipped. I reached out to try to find out when they would arrive so that I could make other plans. Not only was my question not answered, but I was advised the obvious "it would arrive later than expected." That was it. Just an obvious answer that did not help me at all. I'm ordering contacts here, not a sofa. Time is of the essence. We have been dealing with a pandemic for months, if that will delay times then do not advertise 4-7 days. I'm really disappointed and will go elsewhere.
“Do not order from them. Contacts are very poor quality.”
This company is a joke. It took 2 weeks to get my contacts. When they came I went to put one in and stamped on the side of the lens was a big circle with a lip on both side's that would have torn my eye up. Whe I called their customer service they referred me to the manufacturer even though I paid visionpros.com for them. $75 dollars down the drain. Please do not order from these people.
“If I could give 0 starts I would”
They held my order do a "back order" for my left and right contacts. My right eye strength is the same as my left eye,,,,, the customer service rep could not put 2 and 2 together when I asked him just "ship what you have..." Since then they order has taken 2 full weeks to ship. Looks like it finally arrived today but still waiting on the other half of the contacts, which are still on back order. I would rather pour bleach into my eyes then order from this place again.
“Terrible costumers service”
I have received contacts lenses that are burning my eyes. I have been wearing contact lenses for over 20 years now and it never happen to me before. The costumer service is looking for 100 excuses for not accepting my exchange for a new box Products used:contact lenses Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“HORRIBLE SHIP TIMES”
Be aware that even if you pay extra for expedited shipping, your order will take roughly 2 weeks to arrive. With something as crucial as eyewear, a company shouldn't over promise and under deliver. Has happened more than once, and when you try to address it they just throw tracking numbers at you with information that isn't updated. Products used:Contacts Service Value Shipping
“Hidden Mandatory Insurance Charge.”
I wanted to order cosmetic contacts from Visionpros. When I was ready to pay for the order, on the very last payment frame, I noticed they had added an 'insurance' charge, which added an extra 25% to my total. This was done without informing me beforehand. When I contacted them, they said the charge is mandatory, no 'opt out' option. Sounds like a rip off to me. Would not order from them.
“SHIPPING ISSUES”
I have been ordering from this company for years and this is the first time I had a shipping issue from them. I placed an order on Friday 06/07 at around 4pm here (I'm in NY and it's EST time) so the order should've been with the company by 12nn. I paid for $20 expedited shipping to get my order by Monday, 06/10 so I can get it in time for use. Turns out, I just got the email that my order was just fulfilled today, 06/10 and won't be delivered until Thursday, 06/13. They placed my order under FedEx international Economy which takes 4-5 days to arrive. What's the point of paying expedited shipping then? I can say I am at fault for not ordering much much earlier but I just got my updated eye check up that Friday and figure I should get it ordered that same day. Customers, make sure you're aware of their shipping info! They don't operate on Weekends! Also, keep in mind when order a certain shipping option because they don't follow it as ordered!
“FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES”
At my annual exam, I was informed that my lenses were not in fact progressive, and they gave me a print out from the machine showing this. I paid for Progressive lenses and was charged for them. I contacted Vision Pros and their response was that they contacted the supplier and that they definitely were progressives. They didn't even ask to inspect the glasses. Obviously, your supplier screwed up. They refuse to refund me $140 that I paid for the progressives. They say that they can't do anything because it's past the 1 year warranty. This is fraudulent business practice and everyone should know that this company does not give a crap about doing the right thing.
“Learned my lesson”
Ordered and paid in full with expidited shipping on DECEMBER 13,2022. Delivered FEBRUARY 6,2023. No answers from customer service. No explanations. No refund of shipping. No customer service. I will. GLADLY pay more to have questions answered and less than 2 month delivery for TWO BOXES of contacts. Never. Ever. Again. Tip for consumers:Go elsewhere Products used:Contacts Service Value Shipping Quality
“Disappointed by this company”
I ordered contacts about a month ago to specifically make sure I had them for my trip (and by the time my recent ones ran out). Not only have they not arrived yet, but I received an email today saying they are on backorder and not available yet. They haven't even shipped them yet! At this point, I wish I didn't order them at all. I only ordered from this company as in the past it would take about a week for me to receive them. Looks like I may have to go elsewhere for my contacts now as this is very disappointing. :(
“Constant lies”
I placed an order in March for Acuvue lenses - I was told that the lenses were on back order due to supply chain. I was patient but a month went by and i had to order anther brand from them. They then sent emails (June 10th) to me saying they were in and would ship in 72 hours - this was all lies. I returned from Europe over a month later and still no lenses. Every email said they would be shipping soon Products used:contact lenses Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Don't use this company anymore.”
Use to buy my contacts from here but they switched everything over and lost all my info. Maybe it was for the best lens.com is cheaper for the same contacts. Wouldn't recommend buying from here anymore. Tip for consumers:Dont! Products used:Contacts. Service Value Shipping
“Fraud and refraud”
They never asked for a RX but asked for the billing address to my card so it would work. And now I cant get ahold of a rep over the phone, puts me on hold and then hangs up. No confimation codes but they want you to email them. I had to call my bank and have the order disputed and order a new card. They never got back to me.
“Misleading & Poor Customer Service”
HORRIBLE. It seems everyone has similar lenses pricing, so I selected VisionPros based on the Shipping & Handling information listed under "Customer Service" at the bottom of their website that states in-stock lenses are processed in 1 2 days. I selected in-stock lenses and after 7 days it's still not in USPS's system. I reached out first by email and then by phone and the unpleasant Customer Service Supervisor, Kyle, told me that somewhere else on the website it says 3 5 days and even though they say my lenses were in-stock they're not (actually) in-stock at the VisionPro facility therefore it takes longer. So, it appears I spent $14 to ship lenses that will take 2+ weeks to arrive. And deal with Kyle.
“Terrible first time experience”
I previously used CLC to order contacts and decided to give Vision Pros a try. It will be over two weeks (11 business days) until my order is fulfilled. My delivery location is in downtown Toronto and I usually received my order in 1-3 days from CLC. After I hadn't received a shipping notification within 3 business days after placing my order I contacted their support asking them to ship the item or cancel the order. They informed me that they don't stock the item I ordered (the stock of the item is hidden under product description drop down and not apparent anywhere else on the product page or the checkout process) and it would take 3-5 business days to receive the item from the supplier and an additional 1-3 days of shipping. They threatened to charge me a 10% restocking fee despite the fact their website says items that have not shipped are only subject to a 3% fee to recoup credit card fees so I did not cancel. I paid for priority delivery and the shipping label was created on a Monday. Delivery has been delayed for a full week and the reason for the delay listed on Canada Post website is "Item was received by Canada Post at a different location than expected.". This company has failed in every aspect, from website design (lack of clearly presented information about order fulfilment), customer service, and shipping. I cannot consciously recommend ordering from this company over its competitors. Tip for consumers:Buy from a different company Products used:Contact lenses Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Beware: NON-stock items”
Some items are listed as NON-STOCK ITEMS Which means that they have to order it from somewhere else And then wait for it to arrive before shipping it to you Which may take 2-3 weeks Before they ship to you So Do not pay for express shipping Because you will not receive your order in 2-3 days So wierd Tip for consumers:customer service chat obviously very limited Products used:contacts Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“I purchased contact lenses from this company”
I purchased contact lenses from this company. Three of the lenses have torn, upon placing them in my eye. I filed a complaint with the company and requested a refund in the amount of $55.74 or replacement of the lenses. The company required me to contact the 3rd party in which they source the lenses from. The 3rd party refused to reimburse me, and therefore Visionpros refused my request to replace or refund me of my money. I do not believe I should have been required to contact their manufacture for the replacement of my lenses, as my money and correspondence has been with VisionPros. Vision pros required me to produce a prescription to replace or refund my lenses. I have no prescription, because their website advertises no prescription needed. This is false advertising, and misleading to the consumer. Their redemption process is very time consuming and stressful. I purchased the lenses under the assumption that I would receive a good product, with no prescription required. Instead, I received a faulty product, that could have damaged my eye, with no remorse or reimbursement from VisionPros.
“Great prices”
Ordered several pairs of glasses, great prices. Each pair arrived within days with regular delivery. Very happy with their services thus far.
“Contacts are substandard”
Every contact rips or tears after about 1 week. They are supposed to be monthly... going to a local eye Dr.
“Unfair/Dissapointed”
Order # 745-******* "I have ordered many contacts from this site before most of them have been fine, but the last pair i bought were pacific blue, supose to be very light color, my eyes are brown, i have ordered many others that the color will show nicely and they didn't have such bright name, also in the pictures appear as a very bright pacific bluee. Well i get my contacts after two weeks, thank god it didn't take a month to get here like last time i ordered, even paying for 3 day shipping smh, i put one contact on and the color wont show at ALL! Waste of 63 dollars since they wont return my money back or at least let me exchange for another color. I am very dissapointed! Is not fair! If i dont like a product i should be able to at least return it and choose something else, If you have brown eyes dont get pacific blue! The color wont show at all! Even though it looks very light and bright in the pictures. Will be a waste of your money!" costumer service at vision pros do not care if you are happy with your order, all they want is the sale! Very unfair!
“Great People”
Just received my contacts. Very fast shipping and exactly as I ordered. I love VisionPros. Thanks AAA+++
“Great reliable service with cheap pricing”
Highly recommended. Great reliable service with cheap pricing. I order acuvue contact lenses every month from this website. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
