Is visa2egypt.gov.eg Legit?

I recently used this website to apply for a visa to Egypt, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating. The site is overly complicated, with no logical flow of information. It feels like it was designed to confuse users rather than guide them through the process.There's no clear guidance or FAQ section to explain the process in simple terms.I ended up wasting hours trying to complete my application, with no luck only to encounter errors that weren't explained. This website needs a complete overhaul to make it user-friendly and efficient. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend using it if you want a smooth visa application process.

I have spent 3 hours trying to complete a couple of short forms and I get to the end and it deosn't click through. Possibly the worst so called officail (is it?) web site in the world. You would think that they might want to make a good impression but the opposite seems to be true. Sort you web site out as a gate way to a happy experience at the start of the holiday if you like tourists.

WORST experience ever. Nothing works. Visa gets rejected and you lose your money. I'm shocked that their government doesn't do anything - corrupted SCAMMERS...

Best to get visa from airport, these guys are very incompetent so is their website. Be careful passport control are also incompetent customer flying hav eto make sure they do their job. They failed to stamp our passport with visa even though we paid and showed visa docs

Would give zero if could! Appalling site. Details correct yet I’m told they’re not! Keep being told my password/email/application number wrong when they aren’t! Can’t get on to the site to do ‘corrections’. Given only 48hrs to correct what is correct or lose fee. Disgraceful…Feel I’ve been scammed out of my money. DONT USE!

Using this website to purchase visas was time consuming and frustrating. Archaic site that does not allow for punctuation. No clear guidance and if rejected you have to pay again which seems very unfair. When it works it is good and got visa in a day but when an application is rejected then it is a nightmare. They do not respond to their online contact us emails. Site needs to be updated. Might be easier to get at the airport but have yet to test that process.

This stystem is absolutely SHOCKING application accepted the reflected I’ve tried for 4 days now to get hold of someone about this application One passport will upload other will not, same file size followed every instruction and still won’t up load The messsgjng service is also absolutely SHOCKING I’ve never known anything so annoyingly difficult AND MY MONEYS BEEN TAKEN cannot get through on messages and no email address or phone number available Will never use again

Using this site requires some patience but it did work for me and I got the visa after 1 day. It saves queuing for a sticker at the airport. I copied information exactly as shown on my passport and avoided punctuation marks on addresses.

Took us 4 days to get visa. Payment was pending for 3 days and on 4 th day payment confirmed by email and visa also approved..3 application in the same application, to do this fill the first application and at the end edit the application to add more applicants. Only spaces are allowed.Process Could have been easier but it worked for me so iam happy. For India it only allows group application for some reason.I hope they improve the website . All the best

Very poorly designed website. Keeps throwing you out. Rejecting documents. There are significant delays in the processing of visas. The system will accept any arrival date (eg next day), despite the fact they are not able to deliver the visa on time. Avoid at all costs. Very poor customer service once something goes wrong. Useless service really.

Ridiculously unclear and frustrating application process. Just to start you have to compress and rename pictures only then to be sent round in endless circles about how to attach other applicants. Never actually managed to complete the process having waisted more than half a day on it. Def do not bother with it, absolute gobbledegook.

I applied for 4 visas and honestly you should be an IT wizard to navigate this website. Patience you must have as well as it will give you too many commands that you will never understand in your whole existence. I am giving 5 stars as i managed to get the visa after 24hours of applying for it and i think i deserved to have my money back after three hours of filling the forms.

Awful. I entered the details and when I got to the Applicant detail page and filled it out it complained that I had more than one applicant. There was no way to fix it and repeated attempts to contact support produced generic answers that did not address the issue./ To make matters worse they could not (would not?) delete that corrupted application so I could start again. They said wait 7 days and it will get deleted.

Applied online all details correct and a week later received an email to say it couldn't be processed as payment would not be accepted. Did some research and found you needed to use an encrypted card (mine wasnt) so resigned myself to getting one on landing. A week later the full amount has been taken from my account. Checked on the portal to get an application number to complain and portal says no applications have been made. I have no details of ever having applied

Applied for 4 visas and paid. I got one digit wrong on one of the passports and was afforded 48 hours to correct it. The website would not allow this instead responding with an error message that I already had an application. I asked for assistance in changing the information 3 times but was ignored. A terrible website and awful service. Avoid.

Very easy to use and no scamming or anything. Application is trackable online and timely processed. Canadians be aware from October 1st you can no longer use this facility. Egypt is a major tourist destination but yet given the rise of trafficking the presence of corruption on Europe trying to traffick Egyptian women and marry them to Europeans it would be nice to shut down the visa on arrival facility and use this facility instead. Like some reviews here have to mention being married to Egyptian women. They wish. If in Egypt you see something like thay, contact police in Egypt. Because they want to turn Egypt like another Morocco.

Would give zero stars if possible! Completely rip off, website is horrendous! When entering details they want your middle names which is not stipulated. Photos, take the photo then email it to your self, rename the file without IMG in front of it as it won’t accept the file. Even if you get that far they will reject your applications saying the photo is not clear enough. Complete waste of time and money. Will be seeking a charge back on the transaction. Only option is to get a visa on arrival.

5 working days to process and visa was approved. As long as you are careful completing the application and triple check it for errors you should have no issues. To upload a picture of my passport to meet the size requirements, I had to scan the passport in at work using a scanner and i then converted it to a jng document. That was the only fiddly part. Support is next to nothing so be careful when you complete the application and you should have no issues.

Like most others have found the application process is highly frustrating and unhelpful.Incredibly long winded and time consuming.They do not like some of the answers and provide no assistance when,what are perfectly sound entries,are rejected.I gave up after three attempts and will obtain my visa at the bank desk on arrival.

Just wasted 2 hours trying to complete the e visa. Information was rejected for no good reasons and uploading passport was very cumbersome but did finally manage but then all prior information disappeared. When put in again wouldn’t accept as said already had but couldn’t get past this point - so gave up
