Very good page, very entertaining and interesting to learn how to run a business and see what the real market is like. VERY REALISTIC

I started playing this game years ago(more then 10 years) i played alot i enjoined it was fadcinated by the mekanics and the idea to be the owner of a big company and manage it all. Wanted to have more and more:). I stop playing it. For a few years becouse of personal isues. Im back now and see that the game has some new changes . It captured my interest again. I can only recomend to anybody who likes the economy similations

Great game to understand macroeconomics and business. By playing it everyday one can improve his/her skills as well as understand the concepts such as management, commerce, etc. And the most attractive thing about game is that it is closely based upon real market situations like demand and supply.

This game is the more complete I've ever played about economics simulation. His system of interactions with the others players and his numerous tools to watch how your stores, factories and wharehouses are doing are great. Definitivly one of the bests business sumilation game out there !!

I've been playing for over 13 years, the game often hosts sales, competitions and auctions, so players can compete with each other for permanent bonuses. I've seen a lot of economy simulation games and this one might be the most in depth. It reminds me of another of my favorites, EVE Online. This one has some real world education to it and does a good job of forcing the player to make real decisions rather than other games that only give you a few options. I wouldn't worry about the Pay-to-Win since this game is really more about education.

Hi, I've been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and I've noticed all the negative reviews addressing things like pay-to-win, bug issues, and the impossibility to start without having to pay cash. First, I don't believe the game is pay-to-win. I haven't spent a single dollar on the game and I've amassed 200 million dollars in cash and 5 stores that generate income. Second, I haven't seen any game-breaking bugs or, really, any at all. and Third, I started completely free-to-play and I still am free-to-play. If you're struggling, I suggest starting with a store (instead of production) since other players don't have a monopoly over that and then you can generate enough cash/assets to start whatever you want from there. I've been playing since 2009. Stopped a couple of times, but then started again. Saw how the game develops and how its functionality expands. I can say for sure that as a business and strategic thinking simulator, this is a very good trainer. There is an opportunity to learn to understand at a basic level accounting reporting, indicators of the success of your business, advertising and marketing. The chain from raw materials to the final product. I recommend.

One of the best business simulation games available. Complex production chain, which is great. You can work retail, manufacturing or services. Regular realms run one turn a day, so your life doesn't have to revolve around the game if you don't want to. But even so, there are plenty of stuff to do and data to analyze for your life to revolve around the game if you want to. Cons: needs more active players; free to play is rather limited (but still feasible and fun if you're not hoping to be number one on rankings); could receive more care/attention from the devs/admins (forum has year old spam and special deal is months old).

Been playing games for 31 years and now I know I've found my game, it's Virtonomics. This is a real economy simulator, not a game of buy and sell. Market appropriately reacts to the actions of companies and politicians. Every good or service has it's own story. Choice of game-play is practically endless: Run a Mafia, become a producer, a market analyst, do aggressive retail, push for technology advantage, become the politician who changes the world, or just rent a warehouse and become a hoarder. The only thing new players need to grab fast is how to manage efficiency of enterprises, then everything is easy and pleasant. It's exactly what it should be.

Best Business Simulator out there. Additionaly possible to learn much more than only Business.EDIT: Since 1 or 2 days the game has become Pay to Win. Really sad how they made free content now only available with a subscription only. I would have some understanding if they put new content behind a subscription wall but not old already existing and some crutial ones...

At first glimpse, I was a bit overwhelmed with the complexity and somewhat frumpy UI. But the quests and competition for starters provided guidance to quickly learn the essential mechanisms of the game - and "business" so to say. The learning cost some game money however, and my business was facing bankruptcy at first. But I figured out going international and picking the right products and location for such investment will be essential. Issuing a bond got the financing straight - and off it went ! Now it's about time to join forces in a corporation and - who knows - to enter politics! * IMPRESSIVE *

I can't believe the 5-star reviews. It has a steep learning curve and has nothing to do with "business simulation" as it reflects very very few from owning a real business.It's a game and just that.Recent changes make it more pay to win than anything (and they want you to keep on paying). The game also needs a restart, because starting now means you'll be extremely far behind on other players and it will literally take years to get to the point you'll pay a mediocre role (when playing daily).

In Virtonomics, you represent an entrepreneur who sets out to conquer the world, setting up stores in different sectors, factories, laboratories to improve your products and so on. At first, you have to invest a lot of time and effort to fully understand how it works, but once you've got over that hurdle, it's a great game that you can spend hours playing!

The game is getting worse and worse. There is basically no improvement of quality, no new features, bugs are not fixed, broken designs are not changed etc. instead existing features, even those that have design issues, are made "premium" and change from free to insanely expensive. The owners of this game fish for whales who spend a lot of money in a short period of time and go again. There is no intention to make this game available to a wide range of people.I have nothing against paying for a good game, but a subscription model allowing to pay 499 € per month! without any improvement of the game in that period is beyond ridiculous.

The simulator is mostly just a cash grab as once you are subscribed you are bombarded to purchase more and more virtual currency for various 'upgrades'. Used the simulator for less than an hour, as it is confusing with no real tutorial easily found on how to navigate the terrible user interface. Requested a refund and was told they do not give refunds based on their Terms of Service. I've had to file a dispute with my card processor in order to get my money back.
