So many things went wrong.Don't try and safe money just sign up with rogers.1. I got my modem, it didnt work. They deemed it defect. I had to go to a store to return it and get a new one2. I got a replacement modem and it didnt work. They had to send a technician.3. I was advised to go the Bell instead and I did. But now I cannot even cancel over the phone because they have mistakes in their system. So I will literally have to walk to their store and let them verify me, make them call customer service and cancel my internet plan. Because they have my date of birth wrong in the system (It was not me who set that up it was set up in store).Customer service that talked to me was very rude when I told them about my frustration.I have spent countless hours with their customer support. This is the most inconvenient thing ever.Skip virgin plus and go directly to rogers/bell.Cannot ever recommend them at all.
For the most part, Virgin is a good deal. Customer service reps are pleasant to deal with. We get lots of data for what we pay each month. However, unless you’re a social media fanatic DO NOT subscribe to Roam Sweet Roam. You don’t have to actually use your phone in the foreign country to get dinged for it. The phone just has to be picked up by the foreign cell service for any reason.For those who have to be constantly connected it is probably a pretty good deal. If you have it only for emergencies it’s not worth having. One call may be the same as the roaming fee but it won’t get applied for every day even though you never used it.
Virgin plus added internet to my bill which I not known. I cancelled all my services with them and I’m reporting all this to the better business berau. They are scammers and allows fraud to my account. They made mistake and ate a kk g me pay for their issues they caused. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!
I spoke with probably 12 support staff in total, hours after precious hours and days ... it was like entering the Twilight Zone. Each time I get transferred to a new person, I had to restart from zero, all over again and again and again and again ... endlessly. I got conflicting input, that at the end of the day, no one could resolve the error they made from day one. No wonder AI is taking over. I wanted to remain faithful, but I was pushed away by inefficient support staff.
I work from home and rely on the internet. Two days ago(29 July 2024), the internet disconnected, and it took about four hours for both over-the-phone support and a technician to come over and fix it. Today, I woke up and saw the internet was disconnected again. That was too much pressure to start the day, so I unplugged and plugged the modem back in. Fortunately, it worked, but this is too much. The funny part is that to request a call for troubleshooting, you need to access the internet and submit a call request. This is the only internet provider I have used since 2020, and I am considering switching to another company if it disconnects again this month.
Feel deceived by Virgin Plus Canada. Signed a 24 month agreement for $29 a month and I have 2 lines only for them to secretly jack up the monthly rates after I was assured it was set for $29. Girl at Virgin horrible to deal with and an annoying barking dog. Unprofessional company and deceptive! Looking for new carrier.
On August 11th a technician came to install our wifi. He made a hole in the wall and did not cover it with a wallplate. He said he didnt have any in his truck but when he does he will come back and finish the job by putting it where the hole is. He has NEVER came back. It is now Sept 1st. There is a hole in my wall and it is not well done. Our previous experience with Virginplus in Quebec has not been good. The customer service is not helpful they dismiss your concerns. At our old place we waiting for the technician for 3+ hours and he did not come, he no showed.
The Virgin Plus store is shared with Bell and basically switched my old landline to a low cost cell phone plan to have and the staff worked very hard to do this for me as well as keeping my long time landline number. Very pleased so far at the savings this afforded me while no change in access.

After almost 2 years, Virgin plus is still causing me problems! They put a lie on Equifax, that I had not paid my bill. This caused me some problems when a company that owns them, did a credit check. When I think an incompetent company like Virgin was ruining my credit , I am more than pissed off at them and the Source which was part of the problem. 2 years ago this lie and they still are screwing me over.
One of the Virgin Plus employees defrauded me in 2023 with a phone hook up sent to the wrong address despite me saying I did not want the plan. Then I moved. And I got set up only with Internet. I have a monthly bill and the internet works ok. But setup and install were a nightmare.I can't, though, log into their awful website. No account numbers are correct. My bill is up to date. They will not give me my account number without being able to log into my account number. They want me to go 38 minutes away on transit to show ID -- this is after 2 years as a customer. Clearly they are incompetent. Please send suggestions
I went to their site to see how much they would charge but I never signed up with them because I can get it cheaper locally. Today I received a bill from them in the regular mail. Included was a credit card which I cut up and am returning to them.
I signed up for an online Black Friday deal that included a phone and a 2 year contract. When I called them to check on delivery I discovered they had cancelled my order without explanation, notification or consent. I've gone through I don't know how many agents trying to sort it out and every time it just seems to get worse. I've been told four different stories by four different agents and they've been gaslighting me. I have had no resolution at all and I'm finally going to cancel my account with them totally. A store agent told me that the company got in over its head with their Black Friday deals and can't fulfill them. He said that many other customers have had similar complaints and gotten no resolution either. Would definitely not recommend.
I had my phone put on vacation the end of December for two months! This would be for $20 month shortly after that I got a bill for $66 now I just recieved a bill for $236 to be applyed against my credit card on Jan.25/24 I am unable to get into my account my password isn't recognized and the website will not allow me to reset it! Lies, I was told by Virgin plus internet marketing reps!1. It is Cable.2. It has 100 Mbps download speed.3. It has 10 Mbps Upload speed.4. Very reliable, never disconnects.What a mockery this Virgin Plus company is making of itself! The download speed is never even 20 Mbps, and in the last few days, it has gone down the ditch and is now just giving a 5 Mbps download speed. This unreliable service is not just a frustration; it disrupts my daily life, making it challenging to meet deadlines and stay connected.The connection doesn't just disconnect occasionally; it's a constant struggle. Every two to five minutes, I find myself having to reconnect, disrupting any work or leisure activity I'm engaged in. The salesperson was a lair. He said it was cable, but it turned out it was DSL. Despite me telling them DSL doesn't work like cable, he kept pushing his ill-informed, greedy narrative. The salesperson lied more about the transfer from my cell phone service provider, Fido, to Virgin, claiming I wouldn't be charged a transfer fee. Virgin Plus has the most expensive transfer fee, and NO, they don't stay true to what they promised you initially.Virgin Plus is a failed company that has hired liars as its sales reps.
I wanted to have second line on my phone , I asked many companies about the promotions and prices , no one gave me good and suitable deal and price as virgin plus .. they are the best if you want to keep some money in your pocket
Virgin Mobile has increase the cost of service by over 10%. How can they justify this. Time to look for another provider!!

Have them for Mobile phone and Home unlimited internet for a few years now. No issues No problems. On the Bell network, so good connectivity.
