Is vinted.co.uk Legit?

Love buying from vinted! Been on it for over a month now, sold over 10 items but recently I got a message saying my account is restricted while my account is under reveiw for uploading too much stuff when I'm a seller with the star wardrobe award! Hopefully my account doesn't get banned because vinted is really helping Instead of buying stuff brand new, and it's healthier for the earth reusing. And because of inflation it rlly helps. Fingers crossed my account is OK or I'm going to go mad

Such a great experience selling/buying on Vinted. Easy to post Items onto your Vinted wardrobe, using the ready-made templates, select a price then upload and wait for the results. Simples. Then, when the item is sold, you just print off the label or use the barcode if you have no printer and send item off to customer. Money gets paid pretty quickly and you get to keep all of that as there are no hidden costs to uploading, posting and selling your items on Vinted.

I personally only have experience selling on Vinted, not buying. The whole process is very simple, easy and quick. I’ve sold over 60 items and am yet to have a single issue, it’s just not this easy on other platforms and apps. I particularly like the fact that you can choose which shipping methods you’d like to use, and that you can use digital shipping labels as I hate printers!

Selling on Vinted was easy. Made a mistake of not reading the rules and trying to sell an iron and was told off. The process is easy on mobile phone app and even the packaging label done for you. Hardest part was taking the item to parcel point (which was also easy process). The only disadvantage is the payment is held a few days so I didn’t receive it instantly, although it did go into my bank account quicker than the time stated once I withdrew from vintage account. Would be better with an instant transfer on client pick-up.

Grrrrr.....yet again vinted have messed up.Firstly, by making the royal mail option mandatory even though this is the scammers favourite and offers absolutely no seller protection! I have went onto holiday mode, and will be switching to ebay is it isn't removed asap.Secondly, non-stop pop ups, so now i cant even shop as it is extremely irritating and stops me browsing.Get it sorted vinted, I'm sure you make enough revenue without having to get greedy and have non stop ads.

Uploading it listing items on Vinted is quite easy and seamless. Which is just one part. Another part is actually selling it especially if you want to sell off your items fast which in my experience has been really slow even with boosting them. The other part I like is how fast I am able to get labels and ship the items and contact the buyers to notify them their items har been shipped. Since I joined Vinted I've been able to sell off just 2 items. Others experiences maybe better but this is just mine.

I recently put several items on Vinted to sell, within 30 minutes, 2 had sold and more were in people's favourites.Such a brilliant site to use not only for selling but buying pre-loved items ♡

Seller is so lovely!! Communicated quickly and I received my parcel in perfect condition. Even got a little thank you card and some adorable stickers. Best purchase ever THANK YOU

I've been selling unwanted items for many years and have used various different platforms. Marketplace I seem to get bombarded with stupid questions that are not relevant to the item being advertised. Gumtree I get no shows, eBay been the only platform I could sell on but is losing money on large fees on my own items of clothing. Vinted has been a game changer no fees, no rude messages, postage is fair and so easy and straightforward it's a stress free platform I love it. You are protected from fake goods or dodgy up sellers all in all it's fantastic

Great app slight complications here and there in terms of potential buyers offering silly prices or ghosting you once a verbal agreement is made. Other than that, great app.

So far, getting to know how to use Vinted, has been a very busy but good experience.The app is very easy to use although I'm sure I've still much to work out. Repurposing my items to make some much needed cash is a great feeling. Vinted makes it very easy to do this.

I’m new to Vinted, and overall I like it a lot.It’s a simple clean way for both buying and selling, once you get to grips with the process and system. I think it’s a very viable alternative to similar websites, but would like more search filters.Otherwise I would recommend.A word of advice: Don’t press “everything is okay” until you’re absolutely sure it is!

Quick and easy service. Just one gripe my hair products were automatically deleted as they were slightly used. This apprantely breached the regulations which is fair enough. Though there are several for sale on the website which have been used. I'd like to know why they have not been deleted?

Would give zero stars as I think Vinted themselves are in on scams as my nephew paid nearly £500 for a coat and got sent a book and when raised this with Vinted they suspended his account for fraudulent activity!??? The scammer is still scamming people as had a review after the purchase from someone else saying they also received a book! Vinted doing absolutely nothing! And no refund either… stay away from this site

I found the listing process a little confusing. There were queries on one of my listings and a requirement for additional photos , which I provided. But one moment I could see my listing , the next it had disappeared. I thought I had mistakenly deleted it , so added it again. I then immediately received quite an accusatory email stating I had added a duplicate and threatening suspension of my account. There doesn’t seem to be a way of chatting easily to a human for help. I am literally a learner on here ….

Sold a pair of trainers sent through inpost locker courier which was then stolen or lost and the buyer didn’t receive the correct parcel. Obviously buyer unhappy suspended the sale which was then raised by me to vinted to sort out just to be told that the buyer can receive a refund and I’ll be left with nothing. I am down a pair of trainers now. Appalling service.

So far I’ve had a good experience with buying and selling clothes and small sturdy items but i’ve had an issue with the support I would strongly advise against selling/buying larger, more fragile items e.g electronics, hard plastic toys as vinted and shipping providers accept no responsibility for damages during postage. It is incredibly hard to get compensation as a seller when items have been damaged in post and the support team are no help.

I like to sell items here it’s so easy to use and I love it so much Vinted is very good company and I recommend to some people to use is and sell and buy pre love and new things from here .

Get rid of the enforced Royal Mail Second Class Post / Shipping option you have imposed on sellers. Enforced by not allowing sellers to toggle that shipping option to off anymore. Royal Mail Second Class leaves sellers and buyers alike wide open to scammers. It is absolutely unacceptable the way Vinted have gone around doing this. I and many other sellers are livid about this. If you are here due to seeing Vinteds latest TV ad campaign then I wouldn’t recommend this platform at all now!

I WOULD GIVE VINTED A BIG ZERO FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH IS NON EXISTENCE. NO LIVE CHAT, CUSTOMER SERVICE TELEPHONE OR EMAIL. HAD TO GO THROUGH LEGAL CHANNELS BUT STILL NO RECOMPENSE FOR X3 SCAMMER SELLERS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VINTED FOR THIS REASON. VINTED IS MEARLY A COMPUTER GENERATED RESPONSE SITE SO NO LOGICAL OR HUMAN RESPONSES TO BE FOUND. TERRIBLE HORRIFIC SERVICE FROM VINTED. WILL NOT USE AGAIN !
