Is vinaudit.com Legit?

First time using VinAudit. Didn’t get the info I was looking for. Contacted the support team. Received not only a timely reply but a refund. .. something totally unexpected but very much appreciated. Something VinAudit did not have to do.

SCAM, no info provided. I know the vehicle i looked at had 3 accidents reported to insurance provider, but nothing was shown on Vin Audit. Instead it gave me the VEHICLE SPECS which you can GOOGLE online for FREE. Reporting this as a scam charge on my credit card.Edit: Not sure what "more details" VinAudit wants from. 3 accident claims were done on the vehicle, 2 in BC, one in ON (which I pulled through CarFax) this one doesnt even have any sort of connection with Canadian insurance agencies. Not sure what database they are pulling accident history. Only thing i found on VInAudit was vehicle specs which you can Google yourself. TOTAL SCAM

Yes my daughter accidentally used this site (Trustpilot) and we had a breakdown in communication and I ended up being charged for the report my daughter printed. I contacted Trustpilot by email and they were OUTSTANDING, HELPFUL and VERY UNDERSTANDING !!!! I will spread the word everywhere and to anyone who will listen!!! Thanks so much.

Marinel is one of a kind!From the moment she answered my call i knew i was in good hands!She researched a vin number of a Expensive RV we were almost going to buy and gave me so much info that was so useful.I then called her with a second RV and she was still so patient and made me feel like i was not bothering her.I was so impressed with her info and knowledge.

Have always been suspicious about cheap whatever especially used cars so when I was offered a good-looking model at a price my wife thought was just lovely, I didn't get excited too easily. Looked up the local DMV which led me to the DOJ and there I found vinaudit, purchased a report. My suspicion was proven right! Car has existing lien on it which the seller did not mention. Bought another instead for a reasonable price.

As others have called out, there are scams associated with this site and business. I am not accusing them directly, but it's clear that agents/partners are contacting sellers of vehicles and requesting this report before they buy your vehicle. They then never show up and you never hear from them again. This has happened multiple times to me on a couple of vehicles I've sold. If VinAudit is compensating partners for reports that are paid for and generated, then they are promoting this practice and must know it's taking place.

Totally useless. I was looking for a specific piece of information about the salvage title. I already knew it had a salvage title just needed one more specific piece of information. Although it showed the accident related to the write off the vehicle, it had nothing regarding it having a salvage title. Aside from noting the 3 claims it had, it had absolutely nothing else regarding the vehicle the basic info that comes with the VIN number. These people shouldn't even be in business. If it were possible to give it a lower rating I would.

Gives you less information than the 1 dollar reviews for ten times the price. Absolutely a fraction of the information is given . Feeling ripped off ..Any maintenance records? And so much more left off. Didn't even give me a option to save the report if you can call it that. But good news, I know where it's manufactured , what a joke

I had difficulty with an online inquiry and needed help. The agent who answered my phone call knew exactly what I wanted and was most helpful in getting me the information I needed. She also advised me about other steps I should take on the purchase of a newly imported vehicle. I am very grateful for her help.

Here is an interesting good news story regarding VinAudit. While interacting with a prospective buyer for a vehicle I had for sale, he asked that I get a vin report to show him before coming to purchase it. Via computer I found VinAudit and paid for a report. While waiting for my report to be emailed, I noticed a scam warning regarding other sites with similar names to this one that take your money and don't provide a report or supply a barebones report with no detail. It got me thinking so I went back to my correspondence with the buyer and saw he had actually specified a certain site (with a similar name) to obtain the report from and I had luckily come across this one by mistake. I researched the buyer's requested site and found that that one was in fact a scam site. Feeling somewhat duped, I contacted VinAudit support, let them know what happened and asked if I could be reimbursed for the report request which in this instance I didn't really need. I am happy to say the pending transaction was cancelled and my credit card was not debited. Very good customer service and greatly appreciated.

Sent in a request with questions & got them all answered so satisfactorly & courtesiely.I saw that you would get back in 2-3 hours but it was more like 20-30 hours so be careful what you promise.I happened to notice, only because I went to About Us page that you were open M-F 9-5 or 8-5, PST so I knew it would be awile for a response because I sent it in on mid day Sunday.

It just works for me. I actually get confused with different discount coupons saying 50% oFF or $4.99 or $3 or $2.5 Im using this coupon=NNFFKID but all of them are actually legit. Some might sees it a scam but on the marketing point of view, it's an effective way not to be penalized by google. The reports are from NMVTIS and NICB which are reliable. I don't recommend to rely solely on any report. Get 3 different sources to get the best information. mind you, carfax doesn't even show the whole story.

Checked for a vehicle report and received info that was available for free on some other websites! The only "non-free" data that I was given was the car mileage and the date that mileage was recorded!!!So I went contacted Vinaudit since their website mentions "guarenteed satisfaction" and they agreed that the info about the car is not in their system. So they issued a refund.

For 9.99$ report it shows absolutely everything about the car, I use it all time for running an automotive business and never had any problems with their reports. Data is complete including titles, collision, leans, and mileage, absolutely worth it!

This site offers no more info than can be found for free with a Google search, what a joke! Advertisements all over the Web for vinaudit helping people locate their old cars. . . .what BS , site doesn't offer, city, address, or even the name of the current registered owner yet advertises " miss your dream car, find it here"

I came across VIN audit while looking for carfax coupons. Out of curiosity and their cheap service, I decided to give them a try. I also did a little research and found them listed on the NMVTIS website as an accredited provider so they must be legit. I received my report right away and although it is not as detailed as carfax and autocheck, it does include title history, sale records, major accident records and Junk/Salvage records. In my own opinion, for a cheap price, it is an excellent tool if you want a quick check and would like to know if the car had been in a major accident.
