Is vilno.co Legit?

I ordered two of the footrests via Kickstarter. We received them without the rubber anti slip pads and we requested those to be sent out. We had them posted to us, but only received 7 instead of 8. On 12th January I emailed and was replied to on 13th January and I was told a replacement would be sent. However, we never received a replacement. Since then I have emailed on 14th April (which I did get an auto reply to but nothing else), 10th June and 23rd June. I have not had any response. In my email on 12th January, I gave some feedback on the footrests and I was told these were things they would definitely look into improving for the future iterations of the footstool.We have been using the footstools for the last few months and overall they are pretty good and solid construction. However, one of the points I brought up in January was regarding the four textured rollers in the centre- what we feel is a main feature/selling point.The issue is that, on both the footstools, a couple (mainly the bottom) roller seems to struggle to rotate as smoothly as the others. On looking at it from above, this seems to be because it is at an angle. This does affect usage (when we emailed the feedback in January we hoped it would loosen and improve) and we tend to not bother even trying to use the rollers that much because the bottom one/ones prevent smooth rotation. Having used the footstools for the last few months, the fact the rollers don't rotate as smoothly is really frustrating and, considering the cost, disappointing. Overall, I was fairly happy with the product and customer service to begin with. However, now, I feel the footstools were a bit overpriced and there has been a complete lack of further customer service help.

I use this chair for music practice after seeing a similar one mentioned on a music forum. I like that the knees are supported independently, rather that with a bar across the front. It makes it easier to get into and out of the chair. Now I can have long music practice sessions and my back no longer gets sore. I am recommending it to everyone in my band!

Spectacular product. Nice thick padding. Worth the money. You can sit in the kneeling position or with either foot up, or both. Provides a ton of flexibility in how you position yourself. Seems sturdy and well made.

This chair will revolutionize the way you sit. Its very easy to assemble and comes with everything you need including tools. High quality smooth wood pieces that fit together exactly snug. The seat cushion is very comfortable and just the right amount of fluff. The knee rests are pretty much the same. I love how my back doesn't really hurt while I'm sitting at this chair. The rocking function is nice and its really easy to gain your balance.

Yes it is pricey, but it is the only rocking chair of its kind that has a weight rating. I use this every day at work, and although it is a tiny bit tall for standard UK office furniture, it gives me so much flexibility to move around during the day and has really reduced my neck and shoulder pain as a result. The mount/dismount isn't pretty, and takes a clumsy person like me a bit to master. But honestly I wouldn't trade it for the world now. Worth every penny.

This is well made and was easy to assemble. Instructions were clear and all holes lined up nicely. Having this kneeling chair has really improved my posture and reduced neck and shoulder strain. I've been usinig for hours a day, for 2 months now and have seen an improvement in my pinched nerves. I also enjoy being able to rock back and forth instead of just sitting stagnently in an office chair. My only complaint would be that I would have rather the knee pads were a couple of inches longer; I find that after a while, I get a little sore on my shins and have to re-adjust my knees to relieve that pressure. Otherwise, very comfortable and I feel very secure sitting upon it.

I was hesitant to order Vilon chair and thought it wouldn't work but surprisingly it's actually really nice! My husband uses it throughout his day working at the computer. He switches He between this and a regular chair. He has found that he hasn't been struggling with neck tension as mush and is happy with it. Definitely recommend!

I have been looking for a more ergonomic chair for while. A lot of the other chairs claim to help with lumber support but I would still find myself slouching and rounding my shoulders. When I sit in the kneeling chair my low back is automatically put into a more upright position and feel much better than slouching in a regular office chair. It is very comfortable and the padding is thick and good quality. The chair was easy to set up and arrived at my home quickly after ordering it. I would definitely recommend! Many of my family members tried mines out and now want their own.

The chair I have been searching for my whole life sitting at my desk is no longer uncomfortable, it's something I look forward too! I unfortunately don't have the best posture and when I'm sitting in this chair I don't have to fight my body to keep my back straight. The construction of the Vilno chair is solid and it's aesthetically pleasing too!

This is an amazing chair. It instantly fixed my posture problem with a traditional chair. I just assembled it and started using it a few hours ago. I’m already noticing a huge improvement in how my back feels.

I bought this as a gift for my husband after he saw it online and was interested in the ergonomic benefits. He likes the way the chair promotes healthy posture. However, he feels more pressure on his shins than he anticipated. He also feels some discomfort in his "man-parts" (declined angle tugs at his scrotum) after sitting for a long period of time. He decided to switch back and forth between the Vilno chair and a traditional office chair to get the benefits of the Vilno chair.

This chair was extremly useful during long periods and late night study sessions. With a normal chair my back usually used to hurt after about 30 minutes, but with this chair I was able to work as long as i wanted to without getting any back pain and improving my posture. Its even comfortable.

This chair’s unique design had helped in reminding me to sit up straight while working at my desk. So instead of slouching all day which I naturally do in the past, I have since been more conscious of this bad habit and will sit up straight naturally due to the chair’s design.

I never usually write reviews due to ordering so much stuff on Trustpilot.. but this one felt like I needed to. I was at a point where I was working too many hours on a computer that I couldn't even hold good form for most of the day. When I saw this, I wasn't really sure what to make of it, but it was worth the test, and any price was worth paying to help fix my daily back pain. This really does make good posture easy, and while I didn't think I would use the rocking part, i actually do! Highly recommend.

Bad customer service experience and the chair has given rise to serious knee pain. Left outside by the road with a warning about knee injury risk.Update: you’ve asked for more info -you have the whole customer service exchange via email. You’ve suggested giving it time regarding the knee pain. I think you should be careful about giving medical advice.

Kneeling chair could not be assembled. I tried for 3 hrs and then I had an engineer friend. Fairly certain the angles were cut wrong on one of the cross members. I then had an impossible time getting someone to respond. They offered very little assistance and made it impossible to returned (still not returned or refunded). Absolute disaster.

My experience has sadly not been great. Putting the chair together was not as easy as shown because the pre made holes in the wooden 'legs' were not directly in line with the cushioned chair pieces. When finally complete and used, it made a loud crack - i tightened the screws but the creaking is still there. Lastly, i have come on with a bad back / sciatica - i think this is due to the change from a normal chair to this seating position - i think there should be some information about transitioning to this position - this has even come from the physio i have now had to see.

The pads on the chair were too thin for my comfort. After about 20-30 minutes of using the chair, my shins started to hurt. I can see how the sitting position and rocking would be beneficial in the long term, but the chair needs at least 2-3 times more cushioning to use comfortably. After several emails with support, I was able to get a refund for the chair. Unfortunately, due to warehousing related issues, they weren’t able to accept a return of the item. Hopefully it works out better for others than it did for me.
