viagogo.de Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives viagogo.de one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 9.7. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 9.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to viagogo.de's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning viagogo.de, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between viagogo.de and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of viagogo.de. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of viagogo.de, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. viagogo.de is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether viagogo.de has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether viagogo.de boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, viagogo.de.

Have I ever use and heard this company or website? NEVER! Today we received notification from our credit card company that this particular website charged our card for over $2200. What? Totally scam & fraud answer is YES 100% Please do not fall for it don't trust this company. And my advise do the same like we did to all our credit cards.. Put a limit of purchase & let it send a notification to your email or # everytime you use your card.
Viagogo is a company that sells tickets at extortionate prices and refuses to follow Swedish law
Total fraud; after buying the abu dhabi cold play tickets in Jan 2025 they informed us that they will issue the tickets on the day of the event only. We investigated the case all our friends who bought the tickets from the official website already got the tickets. And we were informed that the tickets from the official website are only the authentic tickets. They robbed 1384€We booked out flights and hotel Total mess. Don’t ever use their platform
Recently bought tickets for Coldplay for Aug 25 at Wembley Stadium paid an extortionate price for them so please watch what you are doing. I then made the mistake of reading reviews after buying and I will consider myself very lucky if I actually get any tickets or can actually use them. It's not until you get the confirmation that you read the tickets will not be available until 2pm on the day of the concert - how can you ask friends to pay for tickets and make the 2 hour journey to Wembley if you don't know whether you will even get the tickets a big worry for me. I will be keeping my fingers crossed and will write another review if I don't get any tickets. Won't use this site again too much worry involved.
Don’t buy tickets with this company. I purchase tickets over a month prior to a concert. Contact the support team when I didn’t have the ticket 2 weeks after purchase and was told not to worry I would have the ticket. They never came and I was only told less than 2 hours prior to the show they could not get them to me. They had no remorse and they don’t guarantee you will receive the ticket and they didn’t seem to care. They are now suppose to process my refund, not worth it. I took off work for over four hours, drove 3 hours booked a hotel for the weekend. Now my surprise to my wife is totally F****. Don’t use this company!!!!!!
Never again, got sold fake tickets for a football game, bought it for a bunch of money, I got it certified from the club that it’s fake and there is no proper support to get help with this on the website or so, I feel like I will never get my money back. I’m in rage and I’m glad the club is going against this side now cuz of many people had the same fate. Don’t buy from there
I had a horrible experience selling my tickets for a concert at viagogo. I had transferred my tickets to the buyer , but they refused to pay and also emailed me that they would be charging me a penalty. My tickets gone from my account, money not paid, and now threatening me with penalty too.Just stay from this scam site.
We’ve bought a ticket for the AC/DC concert, which took place on July 27, we arrived 1200 km and spend money for hotel, but the tickets have not been delivered, so we failed to visit the concert. And the “support team” just told us to contact DHL by ourselves and didn’t even care about expenses and time lost we had. Awful experience… Never will advise.
Nightmare with tickets for RAMMSTEIN concert at The Veltins Arena.Viagogo Is aware they're NOT allowed to Sell such tickets but anyway they did. It was so embarrassing yo he told that I had two Fake tickets AND buy new ones. I've been unsuccessfully trying yo reach them since Yesterday (July 30) but the website Is down.Very bad experience
As a seller I can tell you viagogo will protect the buyer as far as they do their thing correct. Means do the transfer in time and provide correct information. But viagogo as asellers is a pure nightmare. They often have no clue what to do costumer support for basic sellers is the worst ever. Sometimes u wait an hour in the line and in the end viagogo staff are not able to handle the easiest things. So they pay their staff minimum salary for sure as they are not well trained. But viagogo doin daylight robbery by taking fees of around 30% what is insane as the service they provide is ridiculous.
Ticketmaster events no longer accept tickets from Viagogo/StubHub. Hundreds of people were turned away from Olivia Rodrigo in Berlin because of this last night. You can't use this service anymore for major concerts or events.
Weil After i bought my tickets for Barcelona game… and after that I started reading comments… I wasn’t in peace until today-the match day. I was sure i will not become my tickets. So I wrote service today, they assured me I don’t have to worry I should become my tickets until 10 am. After that time I still didn’t have tickets so I texted again, they told me they will make sure I will receive other tickets (with same or better place). After 2-3 I received my tickets I couldn’t believe my eyes. But I still wasn’t in peace because I also read comments from people saying they got false tickets and couldn’t get into the stadium. So it was very stressful for me, we arrived at stadium earlier but still we had to wait until 19.30. We were ready to buy tickets again at the evening cashier… well we didn’t have to because everything were ok with our tickets 😄 well maybe the platze were different I didn’t remember I think I bought lateral and we got corners… but we were so happy with tickets anyways 💕
I wasn't sure what to expect. I read so many bad reviews that I was really nervous that I wouldn't get my tickets, but luckily, it all worked out. I received my tickets the week before the concert. But honestly, buying tickets directly from the artist's sight is always better or a more trustworthy ticket sight.
My mom ordered 6 tickets in the beginning of May 2024 for the Adele concert in Munich on August 9th and the tickets have not arrived yet. The price was several 1000€, we booked a flight and a hotel already and we're 99% sure we will never attend this concert after reading all of the comments online. I also commented one of their posts on Instagram regarding this issue and no response yet. We've contacted a lawyer today. It's incredibly devastating for my mom. She just turned 60 and has always wanted to see Adele. 0 stars, I cannot recommend. It's not even a swiss company... Eric Baker is the CEO (he's an American) and the company was founded in London, Great Britain. It just has it's company headquarters in Switzerland.
So from where should i start that the tickets havent arrive after 5 days one day before the game they waiting. Customer service doesnt exist is also automatic replies we suggest to resell the tickets that i never actually got.so the Scammers suggest you scam another person to get your money back... Fraud is not describing how shady this business is .. transctions happen in Rub (russian currency) though i live in germany and iam using the german site. avoid them they should not be allowed to sell tickets for any reason since 99% they scam innocent people
I was super afraid after reading all the negative feedbacks, but we bought tickets for Coldplay three day before the show and they were just a bit more expensive than the original price. Everything was perfect! It was a digital ticket, I didn't have any problems with them. Don't be afraid to try😊
Just imagine yourself waiting infront of the entrance to watch formula 1 race then you understand that they all told lies and cheated you after waiting their promising solution from the call. Nothing happens then leaving Austria without watching the race. Please don’t purchase anything from them!!!
The site that sells the same ticket with screenshots over and over is viagogo. We had to buy tickets twice for the same event through this site. The first time, although we accepted the transfer email, the ticket we paid for was sold to someone else and we could not make the transfer, we only received a notification during the process that the time was up. But they had already taken our money and the refund was not made. The second time, this time the transfer was made but the security guards at the concert gate told us that these were not real tickets but screenshots. In other words, the tickets were fake and we could not attend the concert with these tickets despite paying money again. They are not only scammers but also not solution or customer focused. We had terrible experiences and they did not refund our large amount of money. When we talked about this situation, they did not accept the refund or produce a solution. You are throwing your money away.
Never again will I use viagogo, absolute ripoff and disappointment with a chat service in the Philippines with no anticipation. Gave three Roncalli tickets to kids as Christmas gift and was ripped off, with lame excuses, tickets not available. Never again will stupid viagogo bring my kids to tears!!! They offered alternative events instead of the one chosen: but then stated NONE available, although the event site tempodrom offers plenty of seats! Never again viagogo. My posts on x, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram got plenty of responses: ‘same experience’! Shut this ripoff down!
I have been buying tickets (dozens of concerts) through Viagogo since 2015. I have NEVER had a single issue and always received my tickets.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
