I used to love Verkkokauppa.com as a brand and as a shopping experience. This includes both the online and live shopping experiences. The new site seems like it tries to do too many fancy tricks the same time while not doing it very well on any of them. Verkkokauppa really needs to put more effort on focusing on things that matter to the customers instead of anything else. As their stores are in some of the worst locations possible they really do rely on the online success.Now the whole company seems like a sinking ship and I've lost my decade old customer loyalty.
We used their services for a few years without a problem. It was possible to return a degassing Chinese tablet cover because of its stench. Their fast delivery service is very efficient if you need something fast for professional reasons, totally worth the money.Lately Verkkokauppa got me a screen delivered in 1h20minutes. It works.

Very poor customer service, typical of Finland in general compared to other developed countries. Repairs and support very difficult to arrange from website. Service takes weeks, and in my case the item was returned a month later without repair, and the same original fault (device not starting up, with blinking screen, so quite an obvious problem). Nothing bad to say about the company. Delivery is on point if it says 2 days then its just that. This is the place ive ordered my pc components over the past.. as long as i can remember. I just ordered one of the new ryzen cpu among other stuff. I'll have to change the rating accordingly when i get my package.
According to what they say, they don't ship packages outside of Finland; however, they allow you to place an order from their website and specifically pay for shipping to another country—Spain, in this case—through the postal services they offer. The result is that you wait for a package that, without any apparent reason, doesn't arrive and is returned to the sender, and finally, after asking them—no one contacts you to clarify anything—they tell you they don't ship outside of Finland and therefore refund you the price of the product, but not the shipping costs... Shipping to where, if they don’t ship outside of Finland? It's not about losing roughly ten euros, it's about the lack of seriousness, information, consideration, and waiting for a product that never arrived.
I brought in my phone cause the screen connector somehow broke and when they found what problem is they said that it will cost 260 euro to fix cause it was not in the warranty. And if I still wanted it back I would have to pay 65 euro for it for finding the defect. Honestly that is the worst service I have seen in my life. Please if you're buying a phone do not buy it from verkkokauppa cause if the defect is not in the warranty they will overcharge you.
