This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between veloura-vancouver.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of veloura-vancouver.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. ONE ADVICE ONLY: DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.In fact this "company" does not deserve even one star. Even though they delivered two products I ordered, both paid $150, which is not cheap or discounted, I would clearly say this company is a SCAM. The sweater was paid $70 and is below any standards or expectations, nothing line the picture shown on the website. No tags at all, it looked like somebody knited is by hand and stiched it together in a hurry. The second product was a pair of winter waterproof boots...OMG, when it came the lining inside had such a bad smell, they were so light like they were made of cheap fabric or paper. These two products don't deserve to be in any second-hand shop!
Ordered an XL winter jacket on October 24th. Finally arrived today, Dec 11, 24It fits my wife who is 5'4 and 120 LBS. Basically a small, not XL. After waiting this long, such a disappointment. Such a scam. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.
I ordered 2 sweaters and it took ages for them to arrive. Quality was abysmal and Customer Service is not responding. avoid. Writing this so people don't make the same mistake I did
If I could give them 0 I would, I ordered a couple sweaters from them, which took forever to arrive. First off it stated Vancouver, well the shipment came from China and turned out to be junk as expected. One of the sweaters was completely stretched looking and like a crop top and was supposed to be cashmere-it is def not cashmere. I sent an email asking about the return policy, this was my response:We regret to inform you that the store has been permanently closed. As a result, we are unable to process any returns, refunds, or exchanges. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.Kind Regards,Customer Service Representative What a complete scam
Like everyone else who has posted, I got taken by this company fronting as a store closing in Vancouver. Didn't realize was shipped from China until it was too late. Contacted them before my order arrived about being scammers and they assured me they would "make it right" when my order arrived. Few days later, order arrived and, as expected, it was absolute garbage! Contacted again and told they can't do refunds right now because the store has closed. However, they continue to sell to unsuspecting gullible folks like me.
Ordered 2 jackets from them that appeared very nice in the ad and arrived substandard quality. When I tried to return them I was told I had to ship them to China and not the warehouse in Ontario that they came from which makes it totally uneconomical to get your money back. What really burnt was PayPal sided with them who I have used in the past to help prevent getting ripped off. Total scammers all around!
Ordered two items, one large and one medium. I don't know what they use for a sizing standard but the large was smaller than the medium and both items had sleeve that ended between my elbow and wrist. Absolute scam and agree with other reviews that the revies on their site are bogus. Have to remember the old saying "BUYER BEWARE" and search other sites for reviews.
Bought the boots online. What a shock! Super low-quality materials at a very high price. The picture is so different from the actual product.
this compagny is not canadian and dont return question. they do what they want as soon they got your money.all item are in sale and item in sale cant be replace or return even if description is not what you received.be aware this compagny is scam
Can't believe I could be so gullible. Ordered 3 sweaters. They arrived today. No labels, no care instructions. One sweater ( supposedly cashmere blend) possibly acrylic? Has loose threads everyewhere. The other is wearable, again no label orcare instructions, the thid, supposedly a wool Hoodie is a sleazy polyester missized and a slippery shiny fabric. Again- no labels. I am mad at myself. I should know better. I hope the next person will be smart enough to read reviews and not get taken. I would give a minus 2 star if I could.
This company is a scam - do not buy from them. They state they are a Vancouver company, but everything comes from China. And took forever to get here. I ordered boots, they sent the wrong style of boots. When I asked to return the wrong item for a full refund - i was offered a 10% refund, and no return. This is unacceptable since they sent me the wrong boots, it is clearly their mistake and they refuse to rectify the situation by either sending me the boots I ordered, or giving me a refund for the boots I did not order. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY.
Purchased a bomber jacket that was supposedly originally almost $500 marked down to $89. The quality is laughable. Have never seen such a poorly made garment before. Their cost was probably under $5. If you want to return it you have to pay the shipping to China, NOT Vancouver and who knows if they'll even refund you. These crooks should be ashamed of themselves, but most certainly aren't.
Their products are absolute garbage. The boots I ordered are basically made of plastic. Their website states you can return items but not items on sale which is pretty much everything on their website. The trust pilot reviews on their website are totally fraudulent.
Extremely poor quality, Adult L came to us as, at best, a Child L. Remarkably cheap material. And, though they claim you can get a refund, but the email they say to use to contact them with doesn't work.Even if it did, the fine print on returns says that you have to ship your return, at your own expense, back to China. But wait...there's more!In the even deeper fine print it says that the entire operation is "computer automated", meaning there's no actual human, no warehouse in Vancouver, no nothing, just a web interface to the manufacturer in China. They also illegally contravene the "Customer Refusal" laws, as they state that you have to accept the shipment, not refuse it, then you can email them the refusal notice, and then ship it back to China, again, at your own cost. What a laughable scam. Looks like the charity thrift is getting some weird Chinese kids clothes.
It is a scam website, they advertise on false products and a refund promise. The items described as cashmere are cheapest polyester, arrives in smelly 3rd grade packaging and they don’t respond the refund requests. Dont ever shop anything. It surely is not legit
I purchased 7 sweaters and 4 pairs of boots and truly wish I had checked this site prior to ordering. Cheap quality merchandise likely worth much less than I paid for it. Content of fabric unknown since there is no English on the tags. I was sucked in by the photos and the name of the site Veloura-Vancouver which makes it sound like a local company (I reside in Vancouver). Also fooled by the statement saying last day before going out of business and "Sale ends today". This is absolutely untrue. I hope you do not make the same mistake that I did.
Absolute garbage. Not at all as described and not at all like the photo. Sweater was not woolen or knitted at all. The pattern was printed on gross, hot polyester. I made the mistake of buying shoes as well. Thin, plastic shoes ridiculous. We have a bet in the family for how many wears I will get until they fall apart. On average we estimate 5-7 wears. Pure rubbish. Expensive and not from Vancouver. Shameful that these can be sold. No way there are 1000's of 4 star reviews. Again, garbage just waiting to be tossed into a landfill.
This company is a scam, we ordered over $200.00 worth of sweaters and they did not deliver. No phone number and turns out they are not from Vancouver , from ChinaThey would do nothing for us, so now I have to deal with our credit card company. Consumers be aware
I recently purchased Sophiaâ„¢ - Waterproof Boot With Wool Lining. When it arrived the quality was not remotely close to the images on their website. I contacted them about returning the boots for a refund as the quality was terrible. Not only are they refusing to give me a refund, they offered to exchange them for a shipping fee of $30. I am not interested in an exchange as I doubt another pair will be better quality. They look like insoles not actual boots. To make matters worse, they have not responded to my last email and now have blocked my email. Do not buy anything from this company
complete scam! ordered bomber jacket 89$ on sale and what a joke! Threads coming out everywhere 3 sizes too small! No way to return unless you ship to China....even thought it says it was shipped Burlington Ont

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately.
