vcr-dvd,com Peter Kesselman. My son ordered me a CD changer from this site. Unfortunately, he didn\'t order the one I wanted. The order was placed on 12/18/2025 and arrived quick enough. It came well packaged on 12/23/2025. I haven\'t even plugged it in yet to be sure it even works. I immediately used the email contact provided and explained the issue asking if I could return and exchange for the item I wanted. I explained I would gladly pay the return shipping charge and any difference in price. Exerpt from my email (Would it be possible for me to exchange the Sony for the Onkyo Integra CDC-3.4 6-Disc Carousel CD Changer and pay you the difference? If this can be accomplished can you please let me know the additional charge to return the Sony? I appreciate any consideration you might offer). When Kesselman Responded he told me return shipping would be $24. But would not indicate the price difference between the unit I got and the unit I wanted. I replied I would be happy to pay the charge. There would be no need for a credit. I requested he share the required difference in price and I would give my credit card. When He received the unit back and inspected it, he could send the requested replacement.The following message he wrote destroyed any faith I had put in this business. The following quote from his final email (Is the machine still wrapped as I shipped it or did you remove all the bubble-wrap? The risk of shipping damage is high if it\'s not wrapped in the same manner as originally shipped. I will not issue a refund if it is damaged from return shipping). Just the wording of his statement made me question his legitimacy. I assured him I did unwrap the bubble wrap and that is how I determined my son had made a mistake. It\'s not a rocket science to re-wrap the item so it shouldn\'t get damaged. I told him I would wrap it and ship it reliably. I didn\'t tell him but I would have also added insurance so He wouldn\'t be harmed. Then crickets. I haven\'t heard from him again. Based on his statement and seemingly reluctance to be sure his customer was happy and had an item they wanted I must offer this website a minus 1 star. I cannot offer this business a recommendation. Should a customer choose to do business with them I would use an abundance of caution. I personally would not deal with them again based upon this poor experience. Now I will have to sell the item I have and buy the one I wanted elsewhere because www.vcr-dvd cannot be trusted.
