Is vampal.co.uk Legit?

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I never write reviews but I was compelled to do so because of my horrible experience. Firstly they overcharged me at checkout but they did refund me when I reached out, the dress didn’t arrive on time based on what the website said, secondly the fit just didn’t work on me sleeves to small, everything else to big. When I have asked for a return they have said they only do a percentage (60%) which I was like that’s fine but after many times following up they won’t give me an address. Don’t waste your money, I had to buy another dress for my event in the end.

I bought a fantastic green dress for a wedding. I was really late, so I wrote a message to Synn from Vampal customer service, asking if they could ensure the dress would be delivered on time. Synn was incredibly supportive. She immediately checked the availability of the dress and the delivery timing. Throughout the entire process, she was responsive and helpful. The dress arrived right on time, and it looks exactly as it does on the website: magnificent! Thanks to Vampal and Synn, it will be a wonderful wedding :)

SCAM! Do not buy from this firm! I’ve waited over 6 weeks for my daughter’s Prom dress to no avail, with NO answers to multiple emails! Luckily I paid via PayPal and I’m going to receive a full refund as they have not replied to PayPal either! Avoid all costs!

Purchased a dress for a ball in January, it arrived , is hideous , the waterfall is on the wrong side , material terrible . AND NO WAY OF RETURNING . I luckily paid on credit card and got my money back .Reported to Trading Standards Vampal make it impossible to return anything, and it's tat that they sell .If you saw the item you recieve you wouldn't want it if it was free .

Don't buy from these guys. The dress we received was nothing like the quality of the picture online. And it didn't fit my daughter, despite having supplied measurements.We had to chase for the delivery - the dress eventually arrived about a week later than they'd said. And now I'm chasing for a refund - which is all done via exchange of email - there is no way of doing via the website. Although their return policy says they accept returns even for customised dresses, they just sent me a wheedling email offering me a 60% refund, with the option to keep the dress. They even said that I will then have the chance to sell it on Ebay for about $30 ! (I paid over £100 for the dress, so that seems like an admission that they've ripped me off !). I'm trying for this option, but if no money appears, will try to get a refund via my credit card.As I'm writing this, they've sent me a one-liner email about the 60% refund: 'we will process it directly in this 2 days, thanks'....we'll see !

Do not buy off this site it is a pure scam the pictures of the dresses are nothing like what they give you !!! A pure robbing scam this site is they caught me out so I hope nobody else gets scammed by them you don't get what you see in the pictures mine was a total different fabric and everything than the picture I saw that I thought I was getting !!

Only reason i went on the site is because i saw the same Exact dress that i saw on an other site (A small business that shares their dress making progress on insta.) They stole their design and were super lazy, they took all of the models pictures from the other site. I decided to buy a cheap dress from them to see and yeah.. looked nothing like the pic. Don't buy from them.

I paid an additional €15 and sent 3 emails to confirm expedited delivery. My order arrived 3 days after I needed it. Radio silence in response to my emails for a refund. Finally they agreed to refund the shipping and then never did it. Again they are ignoring my emails. Not worth taking the chance on this company for an ultimately average item of clothing.

I ordereda dress for my daughters prom, we paid extra shipping to ensure it arrived in plenty of time in case we needed to alter it. I had to email then once to check on the order status as the online link still said 'processing',I had a swift response advising me that it had shipped and would arrive within the next 5 days. It arrived on time and was as advertised. Would def use this site again. I only dropped a star as it would have been much easier if the website showed that my order had been shipped and there was no tracking information given.

Thank You Synn for your help. The cream and Gold Sequin Dress was lovely. I got the mermaid tail removed and a split up the side. Everyone said it was stunning and wanted to know where I purchased it. The material was really nice and looked exactly how it was in the picture. Some website the material is dreadful, but not this Dress. I will definitely be buying from you again. Irish Customer

Never would I buy from here again. Not a uk company like on website. Dress arrived in a Jiffy bag! About two sizes too big and dreadful satin material, very cheap looking. Nothing like the photos. If i returned the dress I would have to post tracked and signed for to China! So in the end accepted a 60% refund which when paid actually was on 50%. A costly lesson!

At first, I was a little scarred about buying this without getting myself measured, But I bought it in the smallest size, I am 5 ft and weight 120, I had mine made customized and I love it. It came a week early and I couldn't be more happy about that, I love the customer service and they were so nice and patient, thanks Vampal

My wedding is just a few days away and my bridesmaids still haven’t received their dresses.My wedding is about to collapse because of them!!!No explanation is given despite the numerous emails sent out to chase them on the status of the order...I still expecting to hear back from them....and will keep you updated on the outcome of it.

This is my first time using this company. Your selection is extremely vast. And for the price regardless of the outcome, you really can't be made no man a women wants to spend $ hundreds on a dress.The dress I ordered online was AMAZING. It is just a beautiful as it looks in the advertised photo. the shipping took a bit but once I emailed they were on it and my package was delivered within 2 days. My experience was pretty great from Vampal. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the dress itself. thank you! for making my wedding dress one for the books!And I do recommend anyone that purchases dresses to make a review and post photography so customers like myself have a better gauge of what the dress looks like. online reviews is mixed, but photography can really help us make the decision. Also shopping online on Vampal is super easy, functional, didn't have any issues on the website. I would highly recommend to give a try.

Had bad experience with Synn after promising me that they will refund me 60 percent for my wedding dress they disappeared no refund and wrong dress.will never buy here and wont recomend

If this review can help at least one person to avoid making the same mistake I made, I will be happy. The dress is hideous, they fabric is clearly not organza, is pure plastic. The dress was customized but it came at least 30cm longer. It also came late, after I paid a 50€ for express shipment. I know it was not a shipment problem because Vampal wrote to me one week after I order to ask for my measurements again, which I had already given when I purchased the dress. Be careful they don’t give you a refund on the dress. After I had all this mess I realized not only they not cover customization fee and shipment (which I knew) but they only give you a 50% refund on the dress. I did not want to spend a lot on the dress I ended up paying way more.
