vagabond.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives vagabond.com a medium trust score on the platform: 54.4. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 54.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to vagabond.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning vagabond.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between vagabond.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of vagabond.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of vagabond.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. vagabond.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether vagabond.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether vagabond.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, vagabond.com.

Hi,I bought vagabond shoes (leather sneakers) one year ago and they are already falling apart... When I bought them I saw that one seam was a little bit open, but I thought that it was small and there wouldn't be more problems. Well now there are even more seams open and even the leather by the heal has ripped open on one shoe (not by the seam this). Otherwise they look new, so the seams and leather being broken is not normal tear of the shoes. The shoes have been in use for only half a year because I don't wear them during winter and I have taken good care of them with care products from the vagabond store.I have bought vagabond shoes about five years ago too and I have never come across these problems with them. It's sad to see an expensive and "supposed to be quality" brand being such bad quality... :((
I had a problem with the order that was all my fault. As I got paranoid and thought they took my money but didn’t send the parcel, I got unfairly agressive, which I regret. They have been responding the kindest way possible, they have been patient and respectful despite my bad behavior. It’s very rare to get such a good customer service, I can only recommend people to order on this website, I come back every time because the shoes are high quality, it’s my 3 pair and I cannot find any other shoes brand that fits my wallet and my feet. You can order eyes closed ! (And don’t be dumb like me, double check your email address information before you get paranoid)
I have never experienced worse customer service. I ordered a pair of shoes, and I paid for priority shipping (the estimate was 1-3 days). Unfortunately, my order was misplaced/ mishandled by FedEx and so when I checked my tracking number and saw that my package hadn't moved in 2 days, I called FedEx who opened up an investigation. I then reached out to Vagabond - although it was not easy to, I waited to use their chat function on their website because they only have a Swedish phone number and the chat function on their website is rarely ever available for you to speak to an agent. I spoke to an agent on Saturday (my order should've been delivered the previous Monday), and informed them that the shoe that had been lost in my size was now in low stock and that if we waited for FedEx, it may go out of stock. They said they would reach out to FedEx and get back to me immediately. They never did. I then reached out on Monday again and informed Vagabond that I needed the shipment immediately, at this point, as I had predicted, the shoe in my size was out of stock, so I requested they send me a replacement. Initially, he refused to do anything, and said that we would have to wait for the package to be decalred missing but after a lot of back-and-forth with the agent, he offered to refund the order OR to send me a pair of shoes of equal or lesser value than the shoes I had originally ordered (nothing about refunding the amount I paid if it was of lesser value - and when I mentioned this, the agent did not disagree). Alternatively he offered me a 20% off coupon. I informed him that with the amount of time I had spent, and the fact that I had told the agent on Saturday that my shoe may go out of stock, and that I needed these shoes urgently, these were not attractive options and he said he did not have the power to do more. So I requested a supervisor to reach out to me instead. No one reached out to me again the next day so I messaged on the website again, and again I was told to just wait and we'll see what happens. I got a generic email response telling me that they are working with FedEx to get my package to me. I replied again informing them of the urgency, and again I got a generic email response telling me to wait. FedEx declared my package missing on Wednesday and still no one at Vagabond reached out to me. I paid for international calling to speak to them directly and called 4 times, each time I was put on hold and then the line was dropped. I received another email telling me to wait. It is now Thursday. Today I reached out via chat to inform them that I had spoken to FedEx and that they had reported the item missing, and I requested again for a refund or a replacement. Now they are refusing to return my money until they file a claim with FedEx and their claim with FedEx is resolved. They will not send me a replacement or a discount or anything, and I have informed them that I needed a replacement for a trip that I will be leaving for next week, and that because I was told repeatedly to wait, I could not find a replacement pair of shoes within the same price range in time for my trip. They said that the supervisor would get back to me Tomorrow. Again, when I told them that this would not leave enough time for the shoes to be delivered, THEY ENDED THE CHAT. Genuinely, I have never had the displeasure of such horrible customer service before.
First time to order and satisfied with the quality of the product. Had issue with the fitting so I had to return and exchange the shoes, the website chat is so helpful and responsive.
The company was Nice and very polite. We didn’t get an verification for our order so we contacted the customer service and everything was handled within 5 minutes. Also fast delivery!
Had an issue, customer service immediately resolved it. Very impressed. Thank you Stefan!
are the best assistance that there is among all ecommerce, efficient and even immediate, as well as kind.I have been using their products for many years and I can say that price quality compared to the average commercial shoes there are.
I loved this brand very much until a recent experience where one of the shoes I bought came in with a small defect. I noticed this only after my husband threw the boxes away. Now Vagabond, despite the defect, is refusing the accept the return because I don't have the box and they're also downplaying the defect because it's small. They offered a 15% discount but what does that do? I expect a new pair of shoes to be defect-free. Once I reminded them of my legal rights, they stopped responding. I'm getting legal advice at the moment but I wanted to share my experience with others too.
Saw the square toed ballerinas on Amazon last week. Loved them but thought I will have a look on their own website first. Glad I did as they were cheaper! All sizes but mine, size 36, were sold out and they even were on offer. I did buy them then and there. Since the delivery options were all pick up I decided to bite the bullet and go for DHL express which cost me €9. Despite that they were still cheaper than on Amazon. I orderd them Sunday and got them this Tuesday morning around 8 am!! The shoes are beautiful! In the beginning I was afraid they were too big but they fit perfectly fine. The only thing which worries me is the rubber sole. The rest ist genuine leather. ( I did see that on the product description) If they get damaged I just have to get them resoled at a cobblers, no big deal. I have never orderd from them but I am very happy with the shoes and the service. The packaging is also lovely and user friendly. All in all great experience and I would recommend this company.
Great customer service. The person in the chat responded very fast to my messages. She helped me with my delivery issue and even though the fault was on UPS’ part, she tried her best to help me on their end and we figured something out that would work for me.
I miss spelled my mail, and did not Get a confirmation mail. So i reached out to customer service chat and i got response within 1 minute and they changed it for me with no issues. Best customer service i have ever seen. Big ups to lucy❤️❤️🫡
Great shoe quality and customer service.Unfortunately the size was too small for me, but I ordered the bigger size and customer service was very helpful and quick with my problem.
Love this shop from the bottom of my heart, here I see everything I need: nice design, amazing quality, good prices and easy shipment and return. Thanks, team😊
I ordered the Dorah boots in black leather size 8. They ended up being too small, so I ordered the next size up and created a return. Unfortunately I then became ill and missed the deadline given to me for my return. I decided to use the chat option with customer service to inquire whether they ever offered extensions. They were very understanding and provided me an extension in order to complete the return and receive my refund successfully. I'm impressed with both the quality of the product and quality of service. Thank you Ida for helping me out!
I ordered on Saturday and realised I'd ordered warm lined boots. I used the chat function worried it would be an automated system but I chatted with Ashley - she was fantastic, offered alternatives but they weren't in my size so processed a refund and send me a copy of the chat. Great customer service and I will definitely be back when they're in stock. Thank you
Customer Service is excellent! I used the chat service as I didn't receive a confirmation email for my order. Lucy was super helpful. It turned out I'd spelled my email add incorrectly. All was resolved very quickly and professionally. The Vagabond products are incredible and delivery is always speedy :)
I love Vagabond shoes, they are gorgeous, unique design and very comfortable. I bought shoes from you several times when there was Vagabond store in Hungary.R. Rita
I have an issue with my delivery with Fedex: it has been delayed for days without any news and I have no clue when or if I will receive my order.I filled a form online: never got an answer.I contacted customer support through chat: they said "Must restart system" and just left without any response. Afterwards, it was impossible to have someone available on chat.I called several times and waited: no one picked up.Case number: #191841-675Order number: P67728924KWorst customer support.
I love the style of vagabond. Everyone is wearing Dr. Martens these days and vagabond takes a very likeable different path of design. Being as expensive as Martens one expects the same great and lasting quality. What a fail. I bought my shoes November 23, wearing them almost everyday, but taking good care of them. And now, end of April 24 they fall apart. The seams on the inside as well on the outside are coming apart. I did not misuse them and greased them ever month. In comparison: my friend bought her Martens 3 years ago, wearing them four times a week and never really caring about them and they still look fairly good with no need of repair. So better buy Martens next time. I’m just waiting for your standard reply to write to customercare@vagabond. I wrote you and you offered me a 30€ repair voucher by a shoemaker of my liking. Fine with me, but just damn make sure your quality matches with its prices.
Bought a pair of Vagabond's Tara boots from a local retailer just over a year ago. After one season (these are seasonal boots), the cup on one boot is coming off and the heel has disintegrated...so much so that a local shoe repair shop can't do anything to fix them. I contacted the retailer, who said their return policy is only for a year, and I should contact the manufacturer. So I wrote Vagabond. Vagabond's response? Contact the retailer. I basically got a few months out of a $250 pair of boots. I will never purchase their footwear again.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
