I have been shopping at Unique Vintage since 2016, as my style evolved, their silhouettes (although very niche) have evolved with me too. They leaned into the Western and 70's trends which was a game changer for me! Since they are a slow fashion brand, I know I can rely on the thought and heart they put into their styles. My sister who wears a 4X in UV, has their Delores dress in like 4 colors/prints and every time she wears it, she feels so confident, and I take it that this is the feeling they want to share with their customers. I have never had any issues with customer service, to be quite honest, so I cannot comment! My advice would be to order a size down if there is stretch because the stretch is stretching! “Cheaply made, not returnable,”

I ordered a dress. It was cheaply made very thin material. Could see underwear through. The quality reminds me of a Halloween costume, I will never wear this. Would not let me return. Was a waste of $. They took my review off their website or didn't even allow it on. Don't trust their reviews on their website! It's only the reviews they approve of. “Clothes hit or miss, returns terrible”

I've made multiple purchases from UV over the years and, honestly, they are extremely hit or miss. Most items that are their own brand are made of very thin, cheap fabric. Their return policy is awful. You've gotta get your return in FAST, as they only give you 30 days, even around the holidays. I'm probably going to pull back from shopping with them. I was nervous to make an order at unique vintage after reading on line reviews. But I am so happy with my purchases! The quality is really good for the price, the sizing is fairly true. I did have some exchanges I wanted to make and their customer service was friendly and fast. I will definitely buy more from this site! I read a lot of negative reviews mentioning the time it takes to receive merch and/or returns. All those people need to calm down and have some patience and gratitude towards everyone who has been working hard since the pandemic began. Everything is hard to get now, if you can get it at all. “Over priced garbage”

Unique vintage used to be one of my favorite clothing companies to shop with. It's rare to find a company that has this specific type of style available and SO many options. Unfortunate their prices just keep going up while their quality continues to go down. It's clearly fast fashion at boutique prices. Every single thing I've ordered recently has been absolute garbage. A pair of shoes that were 85$ with the hot glue pieces still hanging off and a size too small (despite the tag clearly stating the proper size) a pair of pants that were 60$ made from fabric so cheap and thin - I can't even wear them. I can't believe they're still functioning as a company. It's insulting to market and sell this garbage to hardworking customers. Tip for consumers:That their product quality has gone down significantly over the last couple of years. I've purchased several dresses and skirts recently and am so impressed with the quality! Every detail is amazing, and you won't see the styles on everyone else! My experience with customer service has been wonderful; I spoke with Alexa today to return an item and she was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. “Dazzling Red Dress”

I purchased this Velvet gown for a special Autumn feast ceremony. I ordered an XL which was a bit large but I took it in and it fits like a glove now. Im almost 6 feet tall and the dress reached the floor which was perfect. Everyone at the event was gushing about the dress. Its so glamorous and compliments a voluptuous body. I had a great experience shopping at Unique Vintage. Usually ordering dresses online to ship across the country. ( chicago) can be frustrating and a risk. But this was easy and Im very satisfied.

“Slowest turn around ever!”

They still haven't shipped my order and it's been almost 2 weeks since I ordered. Order *******. I contacted customer service three times to see when my order will be shipped as I needed a dress for a wedding in a week. I thought for sure 2-3 weeks would be enough time since their standard shipped says it will be delivered in 7-14 business days. 14 business days is almost 3 weeks! We're almost at that point and still nothing has shipped! I kept getting a cookie cutter response that a separate email will be sent when my order has shipped. Asked if I could upgrade to faster shipping, pay the difference and have them pick my order asap, still a cookie cutter response that nothing can be changed or modified once an order is placed. “Earth Angel Saves The Day”

Let me set the stage for my story: working in Charlotte (3 hours away from home) for a week before leaving for 6 days on a Disney vacation. Thursday night into Friday morning I didn't sleep too well so I found myself last minute online shopping the happiest collection on earth and paid for express shipping... to my house... 3 hours away...*face palm* I immediately sent an email begging for someone to help ship my order to my hotel instead and by some miracle they caught it in time! Alina provided my new tracking info and she was easy to communicate with. It was a great customer service experience. I left at 12:30 Monday afternoon, it arrived at 10 am Monday morning. Thanks again, earth angel!

“Cute attire but they never return your $ from refunds m”

This store has cute attire, but online buyers be warned- they force you to respend your money instantly for returns at their store. If you don't and ask for your money back, you'll never see it. I'm a month in on waiting and all I keep getting told is "sorry, it's processing". Horrible customer service. You've been warned.

In addition to my comment on their very off sizing in shoes, they still owe me a refund for an item which they never sent and was cancelled. Not only that but their rigid policies is a clear sign to stay away from ordering from this website. I'm sure there are many more unhappy customers who haven't bothered to write a review. Now I have to go find someone with midget sized feet who will buy my shoes. Given that I'm an international customers and with the additional restocking fee and their bad customer service, I don't want the hassle of having to chase it up in the refund process with them.

I was ready to input my credit card into a $300 purchase, Ito too bad working in retail myself I'm livid with the different customer service I read about at unique vintage online and and store to add fuel to fire they're return policy is sh#t! If I go in person, I always leave with numerous dresses, so sometimes I shop online to control myself. I would have is that they require signatures on even small purchases upon delivery which can be a real pain if no one's home. Other than that though, no problems at all.

Recently I had a little hiccup with the shipping and info and the customer service went above and beyond to help me! If you're on the fence about anything they have - just buy it! Can't say enough good things about my experience with Unique Vintage! Stumbled upon this site after seeing a post on Facebook and I can't believe I didn't know about it before! Such a wide selection of sizes and styles, and I really love their "shop by era" section. I bought a pair of shoes and a flapper dress for an upcoming event. Shipping was a little slow but I did chose the free shipping option. Dress arrived and was too small, I called their customer service and Courtney walked me through exchanging the item. New dress arrived about a week later and fit like a glove. I got so many compliments at my event. Would definitely recommend this site to family and friends! My only advice would be to call customer service if you are unsure of sizing.

Although I've read negative reviews about their customer service I've never had to deal with them. I would recommend ordering one size up since their clothes seem to be slim cut. However, that being said, I have loved everything I've ordered from them! Definitely take advantage of their payment plans too.

Miss Maura is very good at responding and helping me find a solution to whatever it is I need, whether it's a shipping or manufacturer question. I've never had a problem with the quality of clothing, or the sizing, because I always read the clothing information they provide on the product. Unique Vintage is my go to website for pretty, retro clothing. Their reward system is also pretty sweet. Definitely recommend them.

Currently trying to get my money back through my credit card because I've been waiting forever for a shipment and they refuse to tell me when I will get it. They've lied to me repeatedly about ship dates. Scam. Avoid at all costs.

“Slow, overpriced and not worth it”

I ordered items for a theme party that took more than two weeks to arrive (where was no estimated shipping time on the site). There was a delay in the company sending out the package, then FedEx took ages, and no communication. One item is apparently non-returnable (not disclosed at time of purchase), the other (which I found for about a quarter of the price on Amazon subsequently) will cost more to return than it could possibly be to ship and restock. I will never shop here again.

I ordered a dress from Unique Vintage, everything on that end went fine, dress was as described and arrived fine. The real issue is I don't think their site is secure at all as now about 2 weeks later some one is using my credit card to make fraudulent charges. I am planning to contact the business (their customer service is closed on weekend), but will not order from them again as their security is not up to par, especially seeing I am not the only person with this issue.
