20% restocking fee and you have to pay for your own return shipping. That’s absolutely ridiculous nowadays.
Placed an order and immediately requested a cancelation over email a minute later. Was informed after a few emails insisting I just buy a different saber and then let them know what I bought to have them fix it that I couldn't cancel without over a 50 dollar restocking fee for an item they never took off the shelf. Terrible customer service from Brent. Never again.
There was a problem with the courier's but that was not the company fault. All resolved and kids love the Sabers, currently running round the house with mock battles 😁 well made and pretty robust, lasted more than 30 min and going strong with 2 teenagers so can't complain.. Many features built in and loud clear sound effects so very impressed, thanks for a great product..
The absolute worst saber company. They charge double what other saber companies do for sound with outdated tech. The customer service is non existent and they regularly defy FTC regulations to contact the consumer over late orders. They advertise quick shipping times and 3-4 week lead times. Except no one I've talked to who has ordered from here has gotten theirs within 3 months. They ignored my emails and refund requests. Please shop from a more ethical saber company.
Customer service is basically nonexistent and slow. Can explain the problem multiple times n they will teach u absolutely everything u need to know about AAA batteries but not read or try to comprehend ur problem. They are inconsiderate with a 3 days return policy where they wont read ur msgs for those 3 days n tell u everything about AAA batteries make sure u dont use 1.2v or heavy duty carbon zinc u need 1.5v alkaline batteries idgaf if thats not ur problem figure it out and thankyou for ur money.
Terrible customer service, cannot get any answers from anyone. They don't return calls or emails. Don't give refunds even though their website descriptions of what you're buying is completely misleading. Spent over $100 on a useless piece of plastic when we were expecting a complete saber....buyer beware - I am all for supporting small businesses but in this case it's better off going to amazon and buying through a trusted source versus these guys in TX.
DO NOT BUY FROM ULTRASABRES! Placed an order for $280. No communication for weeks. Finally learned that order would take two months to receive. Not acceptable so requested a refund. No flexibility on 20% restocking fee. A restocking fee for something that had not been built yet. Ultrasabres made $56 for doing nothing. Total scam.
Horribly built light sabers for exorbitant prices.Do not buy!! The one I bought broke within 1 month of use. The customer service team is also horrible with lack of sympathy for the cost of the light sabers and when I attempted to send the light saber back for repair (as they requested), they didn’t accept the package and it returned to my address which I was then out of pocket for shipping.
15th May placed my daughters order.....no communication, no updates.....chased by email numerous times until in the end I involved my credit card company & surprise surprise we now have had a fedex notification of despatch!!!! More than 3 months on. Fully understand Covid etc but this company is a joke....lets just hope the saber works when we get it !!
My teenage daughter saved up her money to buy Sabers for her brother and herself. Order was placed May 19. One saber (her brother's) showed up July 17. Hers never arrived. My efforts to contact them started out polite. It's tough to remain kind when trying to support my disappointed daughter. As with so many others, I've left many messages and sent emails. No response. Nothing but a disappointed daughter. I should have looked at their BBB rating before I ever ordered. My mistake...
Couldn't be bothered to respond to customer service inquiries. Ordered $1000 worth of light sabers fully decked out. 10 weeks, 5 emails and numerous calls later, no response. Status:processing. Horrible. Just horrible. Should they ever arrive this experience will forever tarnish the purchase and enjoyment intended from it.
Avoid this company at all cost. You can get the same quality and features without all the nickel and diming upgrades Ultra Sabers charges for. I just met with them at a con over the weekend ready to buy after casually checking out sabers at various cons for years. Their staff was rude, unhelpful, and overall completely incompetent. I ended up buying three sabers from one of their competitors a few aisles over and couldn’t be more pleased.
Like all previous posts about the lack of customer service and responding- no difference here. Emailed both emails, left voicemails. Get daily spam messages about their product line and customer satisfaction. Ordered in May 2020 it's now mid-July 2020 and absolutely NOTHING. When and if we get what we ordered, then I will give them a more detailed review.
Going down hill fast. We’ve ordered twice before and are happy with them, but the order placed October 2020 is still not delivered after 5 months. They advertise 3-4 weeks, we’ve received our third email today saying it’ll be another 6-8 weeks. 20% fee to cancel but sever bait and switch alternatives. So disappointing.
The actual saber was pretty good; okay brightness, good durability and feel. But it took 4 months to arrive. It was right at the start of the pandemic to be fair, but the website never said anything about delays in the pandemic. Plus, after 3 months of waiting i contacted customer service and they didn't respond. I've also heard AWFUL things about the state of working conditions and pay for the employees, so i suggest staying far away from Ultrasabers and i will not be buying from them again unless they clean up they're act.

I ordered 3 sabers, 2 initiates and a dark sentinel V5 2 weeks ago. After ordering I read the reviews and to be honest was slightly worried about the company I had placed an order with... I didn’t need to be, as the Sabers I ordered (which had 3-4 weeks build time advertised) were dispatched in 6 days and it took 6 days for FedEx to deliver. 3 lovely sabers turned up today, excellently wrapped and all in perfect working order. I cannot wait to share the initiates with the younglings so we can duel.
Had issues with the light/batteries since day one. I repeatedly approached Ultrasabers "customer support" only to be told the issue was the wrong batteries/wrong charging/user error.Also, using electrocal tape to hold the wiring together? Shoddy piece of crap
These people are criminals! I placed an order an December 12th, received no shipping notification after one week, I emailed them only to find out my item won’t be shipped for another 4 weeks. No mention of this via their website and when asked to cancel as this was my son’s Christmas gift, they told me they will withhold 20% for restocking fee. Twenty percent restocking fee for an item that is not available for another 4 weeks. These people are thieves. Do not use their service. I will report them to every consumer reporting agency until I get my entire refund back. Criminals.
I looked at much of these reviews with worry as to my order and I have to say something must have changed in terms of management. My saber was fabricated and shipped within a day due to availability of certain parts and I received in 4 business day from order a big surprise vs waiting a month. Ruby was helpful and knowledgeable about questions I had. They have also added a chat feature which has proven to be helpful vs just emails. So far I’m impressed based on the things I’ve heard and would buy from again.

“Be patient”
Good things come you just have to be patient. I've thought about getting one for years but never did out of fear of disappointment. Did a random box and loved what I got. The night it got here we ordered two more.
“Great saber but long shipping”
It took about a month for me to get my package because of the new movie, shows and other stuff going crazy with star wars so I can understand that. Either way love the saber and will be ordering again.
“Mixed reviews”
Horrible communication from order and so on. Took a few weeks just to get an order confirmation, finally received the item and after a couple of weeks it broke. These were meant to be durable, or so I thought. We've seen videos of grown men having battles and they held up. My son is 10 and not rough with his toys and this broke while playing with his brother and his plastic saber. I sent an email to customer service over two weeks ago asking about replacement parts and still no response. These are great products, just wish there was someone behind them willing to help provide a better experience.
“Great delivery and work”
Almost everything arrived exactly on time. Some product were delivered 6 weeks earlier than expected. Creations of what I ordered are absolutely phenomenal and friendly customer service. Also easy and efficient way of paying! (I am still waiting on other products which have pushed past the expected wait date)

I absolutely love the sabers I received! However it took way longer than the 3-4 week advertised time (ordered 4/13) due to stock issues, which would have been understandable, but trying to get answers was very frustrating
“Ultra Sabers Archon V3.1 Review”
I paid for Priority Shipping and it took over a month to get here. However Customer service was very polite and helpful. The brass section on my emitter is tarnished and/or rusted, it just really looks horrible. Also I did NOT order a cover tech wheel or a recharge port for my saber and they were installed anyway... Not sure why seeing as those features cost more money to get? All in all I must say that I'm disappointed with the amount of extra time it took for my saber to get here and also disappointed with the lack of attention to detail with my order. For $500 you should get it right no questions asked.
“Shady site”
I have bought three sabers. The first two were great. The last one I bought though the blade came damaged. After paying $450 for it (emerald scorpion) they just ignored my emails inquiring about a possible second blade or a trade in. This type of shady activity is not what I am used to. I am sad to say I will be recommending my friends away from ultra sabers from now on.

I bought a diamond saber that is overall pretty nice, but I overlooked that they were running a sale for 50% off IF you put in the coupon code. I made the mistake, but most companies would work with a customer in this situation and at least offer some kind of compensation. I didn't even get a response from them when I emailed. “Terrible work and business!”
I bought a saber from here and it took almost 6 weeks to get to me. When it finally did, all the little pieces on it started to fall off and there was a rattle. So I had to manually fox the rattle and super glue all the pieces back onto it. For a purchase this expensive I expected better craftsmanship and the people who actually make the sabers should be ashamed. This whole process has been nothing but terrible and not only a HUGE waste of time but also a huge waste of my hard earned money. I tried to contact them through social media, calling, and emailing but I only ever got auto responses from the call and social media. The email would get a reply after a week. I'm usually a very chill person in terms of waiting but to wait for this metal piece of garbage that somehow passed inspection (if they even do that) is ridiculous. Anyways, that's all I have to say, other than I would warm even my worst enemy about doing "business" with this corrupt business.

“Received damaged product but no response from customer service.”
I placed an order with this company on January 5th, and received my product in mid February. Upon receiving the package I found that the blade had been damaged in shipping, and the emitter did not produce any light. I also found that the saber stand I ordered was not included in the package. I immediately emailed their customer service department, and after nearly 2 weeks of waiting for a response, finally received a cop out email stating that they would ship my stand as soon as they were in stock. It should be noted that they did not inform me up front that they were out of stock. More importantly, they did not even address the damage to the saber. Do. Not. Place an order with this company. Pick someone that will actually respond to your emails and that will take the care to package things so they are not damaged in shipping. Tip for consumers:Do not use the site. “Would give customer service a 0 if I could”
I ordered a light saber mid-April for my daughter's birthday coming up in June. It has been almost six weeks and I haven't heard or received anything. Emails have gone unanswered and the website just gives me a "processing" note on the order status. I just received an email at the beginning of this week about how "Due to an error by our former lead customer service representative we have lost access to all our emails sent to us prior to 05/25/2020. This means we cannot read or reply to any emails sent before today." Seriously? Sounds like an excuse to me. Star Wars fans, these light sabers may look cool, but I would think twice about placing an order with Ultra Sabers.
“Product Amazing - Comany ++++ Poor”
The product itself is amazing; albeit way overpriced. I find the company itself however difficult to communicate with, and extremely difficult to get any kind of a refund, trade, or use of store credit. They still have over $120 US due to me which they have basically refused to give back in any way shape or form. This assuming money hungry company will send out a good product quickly, once your $500 CAN is transferred successfully; but beyond that they seem to care little for the individual customer, as long as they are scoring their hundreds of dollars. Overall, very disappointed in this company - very poor customer service & communication, and disorganized as a whole. Will never order from Ultra Sabers again.
“Still not sure if this is a real company”
I spent hundreds of dollars on a handful of some pretty basic sabers nearly 4 months ago. The company will not answer their phone, and I was only able to get one reply to an email (which took 6 weeks). They said it would be several more weeks, and that if I was willing to downgrade to a cheaper model (without compensation!) it might be faster. Then they "went dark" again, not answering emails or phone calls. No idea if they will ever send anything, or if this is just a scam. Their FB page is full of excited "customers" bragging about getting their product in 2-3 weeks, and with a bunch of free sabers from a well-advertised raffle - but I have to wonder if these are genuine posters at this point. Even if they eventually come thru, it was a horrible experience and I will never shop there again. Do yourself a favor and avoid them.
“Absolutely trash customer service”
Paid good money for a custom saber. Delivery was fine. Saber was beautiful. Worked about 3 weeks and was hardly used. It sat on display in my work station. In the three weeks it was sitting there it was turned on a handful of times. Then just quit. Though battery was dead but charging them didn't work. New batteries didn't work. Won't light up and sound is at 1/4 volume. I called with no response. Was directed to email. 2 emails and multiple calls now their voice-mail is full. I get it, they're swamped but this is ridiculous. Ordered three weeks. Plenty of time according to their website for a Christmas delivery.
