uk.trustpilot.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives uk.trustpilot.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 72.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 72.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to uk.trustpilot.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning uk.trustpilot.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between uk.trustpilot.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of uk.trustpilot.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of uk.trustpilot.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. uk.trustpilot.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether uk.trustpilot.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether uk.trustpilot.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, uk.trustpilot.com.

Absolutely great idea with seeing reply from the people /companies you are leaving feedback for as well as feature to edit if you were wrong etc!Trustpilot - always best and most professional , reliable to check the trustworthy feedbacks! Very needed nowadays as you can see so many of fake ones.....;(Hope Trustpilot will keep highest standards you can be sure of!
Trustpilot make it easy to write reviews, you get the guidance, which for someone like me who isn't so good with words is a godsend 😀 Only one suggestion: When someone replies to your review maybe a " like" button so we can acknowledge that their reply has been seen? Thank you! 😀
I love that there is a place you can go to check the experiences of others regarding companies that you are thinking of using. I have been saved on more than one occasion from making a purchase from a poorly performing retailer. Thank you for providing this fantastic service to help others. May you continue to do this great work for many years to come. Xx
Trustpilot is a website review site that shows honest reviews and opinions from people/users. With Trustpilot, we could at least double-check the websites we want to visit if those websites are telling the truth or just saying something cap. I had an experience when I visited 2 websites to purchase some products, one that is trusted and one that I didn't know where it was from. That trusted website brought me the product with anything perfect, and that "unconvincing" website brought me nothing but SCAM. Trustpilot is a game-changer for that problem. That's why I have used this website until now.
Really appreciate an objective party (not a sponsor of a product etc) to tell me about a company. Trustpilot has not only helped me with their rating of a company but also whether it is likely that the company is a scammer. That has been invaluable to me! Won't try a new company without their input.
Trustpilot is the holy Grail for online shoppers to avoid getting devoured by shady retailers. Never buy anything online until you consult with Trustpilot. That's where you get the knowledge required to make safe shopping choices.
Had an ongoing problem and was passed to various departments. Finally spoke to Ashley in Cable Care at the Newcastle Branch and she restored my confidence in Virgin. What a gem. This is type of employee you need to keep hold of.
Trustpilot is very reputable and very useful when it comes to reviews about companies. It helped me a lot when I started reading some reviews about one of the SCAM companies that I was dealing with. From now on, I will search about any company here and then decide if I am going to deal with Company or not.
I don't know why Roqqu app kept my Roqqu account null null and whenever I tried to login on web it's tell me that my account is already deactivate by the owner and am the owner and whenever I login on app too it's just bring up null, null and I can't find my funds inside too, please what's going with my account.#roqquaccountreactivation#thinkcrypto#thinkroqqu
I think that the Trust pilot review is a very good idea and gives potential customers an insight in to company.I imagine that the Trust pilot group benefits from organic growth on some occasions. So I will look forward to what their latest developments will be.
I don't know much about this company but I have heard it's a reputable source to research companies and their status as a good company or not, especially for on-line shopping. I write my reviews and get comments back that seem to indicate Trustpilot follows through on reviews, which is a good thing 👍
I have always found Octopus to be clear & accurate in their information & their website to be easy to use & understand. Any queries I have had have been dealt with quickly & efficiently. I have found them to be competitive on my account.
No result in way of refund with my dispute with LITFAD However what an AMAZING site Trustpilot is. Do wish I had thought of checking Trustpilot prior to ordering .THANKYOU for being there !!!
Enabling people to give an honest review of goods that are no way near what was advertised, and to make others aware. But on the other side giving good feedback where it is warranted.
Currently upholding a review that details an alleged legal activity as being factual. The law in the UK states innocent until proven guilty but trustpilot are not understanding this. Basically someone can come onto the platform make up lies and it will be upheld. Have requested a postal address to send a legal letter and to date no reply. Note the review was also removed by request pilot then put back up again after the user cut and paste it back on - poor monitoring of the platform. Will update.
Too much proof required to prove that experience was genuine only to still be ignored. Guilty until proven innocent. In this instance even the subscribing business was passed over for a 4* review.Trustpilot has been taken over by its artificial (un) intelligent bots and complicit brainless humanoids. The recently appointed CEO has a mammoth role ahead of him. Of course mammoths went extinct!
There was a problem with the gift card I had purchased. I addressed the problem in a complaint review to trust pilot. They opened the case, looked into it, and solved the problem.I wasn’t sure if I would ever use trust pilot again but now I can safely say that I surely will. Thank you trust Pilot for following through on my complaint and fixing it. You definitely did the right thing and I appreciate it. You have piloted my trust back to you!
As other 1 star reviews have said, TrustPilot removes genuine reviews. They removed a review I left for my large solicitors firm. I provided proof of using them (a property purchase). What more do you need? And if you're not accepting proof, what's the point of asking for it?Poor show. Especially when I see other reviews for other companies that are clearly made up (1 review signups all using the same language!)
I have a warranty with integrity very efficient company you can rely , so far I had 3 claims my house needed Repairs now everything works happy wife happy house 🏡
I believe this update is an excellent form of yours. It provides an opportunity to review any company and share your experience by giving a thorough review of your website. This benefits the customer by informing them whether the company is good or bad before doing business with them. It's a policy that benefits both the customer and the company, as well as the business.Customers also share their experiences, and people read and watch. Consequently, the company also strives to provide good service to receive good reviews. Therefore, the bottom line is that a one-for-one policy benefits everyone. Good reviews lead to good business, and only those who provide good reviews and conduct good business receive good reviews. Those who offer poor service and commit fraud are always left behind.I always read reviews before making a purchase and benefit greatly from visiting your website.

“Biased against buyers”

Purchased online on a Thursday with delivery Sat-Mon. No confirmation of despatch. Messaged Monday and got email saying cannot supply. Did truthful negative review on Trustpilot and seller objected. Sent photoshop of email twice but either ignored or unread. My review removed. Products used:Samsung mobile Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Bias and remove honest but negative reviews”

Trustpilot don't respect freedom of speech. Or your personal opinion... I've written 2 honest reviews on a certain dating site, And they've removed both... Kinda makes you think that some companies are paying them to remove certain negative but honest reviews... Tip for consumers:If your reply on a certain company is honest but negative.... Be prepared to have it removed... Service

“Suspended my account as spam. Not restored”

Suspended my account as spam and sent an email to say it's not l, still not restored. Reviews are pointless so is their site, genuine reviews deleted and fake spam accounts up there as "real experiences" it's a joke! Service Value Quality

“No pre-screening just post-deletion”

Recently told Trustpilot to delete/remove all my posts and basically close the account. Why? Well, a company (onestream.co.uk) which is an ISP in the UK, did not pick up the phone, or respond to an email I sent, so I posted what happened to myself on Trustpilot. The company then complained to Trustpilot about the post claiming I was not a customer and then that I had no contact with them either. Trustpilot removed my post with the proviso that if I could supply proof, then the post would be reinstated - I refused and made a counter argument, that if they check my post in this way then they need to check every post on their site to make sure that there was contact, otherwise if they do not check every post then they should not check mine either, just for fairness. I received an email from someone called manuel, who did a cut'n'paste job of trustpilot rules - my reply 'that is not the question'. He then, made a more compressed and more personal explanation of the rules - but again this did not answer the question/point, and was basically going over the same point he tried to make in his first email; I suppose he thought it would be rude to just repeat the cut'n'paste job, or would the rudeness be too obvious LOL! He then did the same thing for a third time. It was obvious that he was trying to avoid addressing the point I had made and therefore validating my point/contention - a typical neo-liberal move, he also got shirty when I pulled him up over his claim that there was no pre-screening of posts by my replying that there is just post-deletion. So I told them where to go and close the account and delete all posts. [12/01/24] Update to above. Believe it or not, I rejoined trustpilot, but have just closed account with them, for a variation of above. I made a post about sainsburys supermarket, it was removed, then made a second more detailed post about the same company, which was also removed, in both cases it was stated that their software had done this, that mistakes can be made, but they were sure it was the "right call". I replied to both, got a email to both replies stateing that if i could proof that I had a purchase with sainsburys by way of invoice, delivery proof etc that they would consider reinstating the postl my reply was that this was inapplicable, to which I am.was still waiting for a reply. I think that these posts were deliberatly removed because i used the word 'discrimination' and trustpilot can not have that, for some reason.

“Trust-pilot biased”

Had fond a injured squeal that I took to PDSA on the 19/05/2022 that they took in after I left they put it to sleep and did not try saving it as when I went back next day one of the staff said we don't have the mean to care for this street animals, so I try to put a review against them on trust pilot, they except only reviews that suit there criteria or agendas. “There's no "Trust" in Trustpilot”

There's no Trust in Trustpilot In the high-octane world of business and personal development, where integrity and transparency are as vital as the air we breathe, my recent encounter with Trustpilot left a sour taste that no amount of sugar coating can sweeten. Picture this: I engaged in a genuine transaction with SuccessResources, investing not just my money but my faith in their 3Day seminar in Amsterdam, and then I shared my authentic experience on Trustpilot. What happens next? Trustpilot slaps my company with a label of, pay attention - Selling fake reviews -, a claim as baseless as accusing a bird of talking! We are a registered Educational Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, nothing to do with selling fake reviews. Despite arming myself with indisputable proof of my participation (yes, an invoice that's as real as the ground you walk on), Trustpilot stood unmoved, as if my genuine attempt at clarity was invisible to them. Not one to retreat without a fight, I aimed another arrow of truth by reviewing Trustpilot itself, sharing my experience. The irony? This review was flagged as fake. Despite presenting a fortress of evidence, including screenshots and case numbers (Ticket number: ******* is one of them) my truth was dismissed, tossed aside like yesterday's news. This ordeal wasn't just an eye-opener but a clear call to all seekers of genuine feedback platforms: Trustpilot, in its current state, seems more like a court of kangaroos, where evidence leaps through hoops only to be dismissed into the void! Everyone should question to seek transparency, and to demand a platform where our voices, backed by solid proof, are respected and acknowledged. Trustpilot, in this instance, failed to measure up to these standards, leaving a trail of questions about its commitment to genuine, unadulterated feedback.. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Unfortunately Trustpilot can't be trusted.”

I left a genuine review for an Energy company and within minutes my review was removed. I'm also unable to log back into my account. I can prove I was a customer of the energy company. I read the reviews on here from people who experienced the same thing and I'm not really surprised. It makes total sense that Trustpilot and businesses would be in cahoots. The energy company's attempts to silence me have backfired. I will post the review on a few sites and forums. As for Trustpilot, I will never trust or use them again. My intuition will have to do.

“Trustpilot brilliant review site”

“Banned for being genuine reviewer”

Received an email today to say I have been banned and all my reviews removed because their clever software has highlighted one of my reviews is spam. How can a genuine review of a company be spam? Maybe because I left some poor reviews of some companies? They can't even tell me which review is causing the problem. Maybe because there isn't one!

“Not real reviews, but a bought lobby”

Disgusting behavior by the site! Publish only those reviews that are convenient to see the moderators themselves! I posted some positive comments about the company, so they blocked them and recognized them as erroneous. They considered my arguments to be groundless. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Park Dean Newquay”

Dear Sir/Madam I would like to share with you my holiday experience at Park Dean Newquay. Like most people, we had an holiday in England this year. We looked at what everyone had to offer and chose you. I am a full time Wheelchair User, Spinal Cord C5/6 (Paralyzed From The Chest Downwards). You seem to offer a holiday that would suit my needs with your adaptive caravan. Going on holiday is a military operation, we have to plan extensively, so at the time of booking I asked all the questions I needed to ask and Was told that the holiday was "Was Fit For Purpose". We were told that on arrival that our caravan would be available from 4pm. When we went to unload our luggage,, our caravan had not been cleaned. We returned at 5.30 pm and the cleaners were just leaving and said that we could move in. On entry, we were upset because the caravan was still very dirty and the Manager ordered a reclean. Caravan very dirty and worn, even public hairs in the shower tray, basin and toilet. I use a portable hoist and on at least three occasions I rang to check that the caravan bed could accommodate the hoist and was told no problem. When checking the bed, it was a standard bed in a "accessible" caravan. The Manager sent a handyman to adapt the bed, so the bed and hoist could put me to bed and get me up again. The TV only had two channels, once again the handyman came back but could not do anything with it. It was a very expensive caravan, it was sited at the very top of the park, making it really difficult to get up and down in my wheelchair. The club house restaurant served dried pizza ect. In cardboard boxes. Not my idea of a restaurant. Swimming was very restricted, even closed for lunch and sometimes didn't reopen that day. Night entertainment was really poor and on three occasions closed at 10.30pm. The security guard even put chains on the fire doors. I do have photos of all the problems. Park Dean was/is not fit for purpose, check the Watch Dog reports on YouTube. Ps. I could not even go and voice my concerns, has the Reception Door was not wide enough and there was a bar at the bottom of the door, so could not have got in anyway. If you want a lovely holiday, maybe give Park Dean a miss. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE."

“"You cannot get honest reviews on this site!"”

I have written an honest review about appleiphoneunlock.uk. As this site is known for Fraud. You can look the reviews in this site. Unfortunately, this is not what they are meant to be for. My honest reviews were removed even though my feedback are properly backed up with proper documents. See my attached screen shots for my reply. And here's what they have to say: "We can't allow these kinds of statements on Trustpilot because they risk causing offence to people, contravene our User Guidelines, and may also break the law." Like what? The proof was there. Oh yeah. The site being reviewed is a premium user of this feedback site. So that is why.

“Misleading rating for Hermes (parcel delivery business)”

In common with with many other consumers I have had an appalling experience with Hermes the UK parcel delivery business and I view with disbelief Trustpilot's 4.4/5 star rating for Hermes in its Hermes UK profile. Why is this so at odds with other reviews and assessments of Hermes?: Sitejabber: 1.1/5 stars Trustpilot profile for Hermesparcelnet for which Trustpilot receives no income from Hermes and has no invited reviews: 1.3/5 stars Trustpilot profile for Hermes (no 'UK') for which Trustpilot receives no income from Hermes and has no invited reviews: 1.4/5 stars Trustpilot profile for Hermès (the luxury goods business) that is effectively a profile for Hermes because the overwhelming majority of reviews are posted by people who mistakenly believe they are reviewing the pacel delivery business: 1.4/5 stars Amazon customers: 2.1/5 stars Review Centre: 1.3/5 stars Reviews.io: 1.2/5 stars MoneySavingExpert opinion poll that rated Hermes 14th worst of 17 parcel delivery businesses BBC 'Watchdog' programme that reported Hermes was the parcel delivery business it had received most complaints about One reason is that most if not all positive reviews on the Hermes UK profile are reviews that Truspilot has allowed Hermes to invite. Danny Richman in his report 'Can you trust Trustpilot? – 9 million reviews studied', https://www.seotraininglondon.org/can-you-trust-trustpilot/ uses Hermes UK's Truspilot profile as an example of how invited reviews paint a false picture. He found that 81% of all reviews (predominantly invited) were "excellent" and 7% "bad" but just 9% of uninvited (termed 'organic') reviews were "excelllent" and 88% "bad". Another reason could be that Trustpilot's "advanced software" deems a worryingly unknown but apparently significant proportion of negative reviews to be "suspicious" and removes them. I have had all seven of my justifiably critical, honest and objective reviews of Hermes UK removed in this way and they haven't been reinstated when I've provided tracking information and correspondence with sellers. Trustpilot receives payments from Hermes. This raises concerns about Trustpilot's independence and integrity and whether its reviews should be trusted. Tip for consumers:Be mindful that Trustpilot receives payments from many reviewed businesses and allows them to invite reviews that are predominantly positive and could paint a false picture.

“Do not use them!”

I recently had bad experience with Ryanair and was told that my review is fake! I am a verified customer but they do not care. Absolutely shocking experience!

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.

For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below. stop third parties to track my device button

Are You the Owner of uk.trustpilot.com?

If you own uk.trustpilot.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).

* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.
