Is u-buy.co.nz Legit?

Delivery was supposed to be 3 business days as I paid express shipping it took 3 weeks.Update issued partial refund of NZD$22.25 on 17/09/24

Purchased a book from Ubuy nz. They took the money out of my account. Proceeded totrack my order and if statedWITH THIS ID TRACKINGDETAIL IS NOT FOUND. Emailsed them 3 times since and have had no response. Rang the New Zealand contact For Ubuy right on 10am when it opens. Nobody answers. A recorded message says wait time is 1 minute, then 2 minutes, then 3 minutes then says leave press Hash fir a call back. NOTHING!!!

Was a bit worried when I read reviews, but it seems there's 2 companies named Ubuy. I used the one with orange logo & hyphen in website address (u-buy.co.nz) and product was as specified and arrived exactly the date they forecast. I had phoned them before purchasing, it was a NZ number, and they answered quickly & were helpful.

First time attempting to purchase from this crowd did not go as planned.All attempts to pay at the checkout were "declined".Called my bank twice - nothing wrong with my credit card or account at all.Online chat with U-buy was "try again and here is a promo code" - still didnt work.Worst online shopping experience ever and really dissapointed :(

After purchasing a product from them and doing the set up the thing just froze...finally got in touch with them only to find out there stuff is only warranted for 7 days!!!..so no help to replace or fix something brand spanking new should not be broken and hasn't been used

Terrible servi e. Purchased a product September 2023, was told after 8 payments, product wld be delivered. Rung several times only to be told the same BS. May 2024, i rung to cancel as no product. Was told refund will take sevral days. Its now July, still no refund. No replies to emails, no nothing. They are the WORST online retailer ive ever had to deal with. The product itself i had ordered was well above the RRP of the actual manufacturers. Better to purchase directly from the manufacturers as Ubuy are a con. I am now having to get my lawyer involved goddamit!

This company is a joke Ive tried multiple times contacting UbuyNZ via phone and emails no response at all.even the hold time is a joke I waited 45 mins got to 1 min then ended going back upto 45 min wait what the hell not good. I am seeking legal advise and be going to disputes tribunial to file a court proceedings to get my money back. so I advise anyone don't use this SCAMMING COMPANY

Item came much sooner than I had anticipated and in excellent, safe packaging. I am always concerned about using businesses I have not used previously, especially cause there are so many scams around.I will definitely use Ubuy again.

This is my second purchase of replacement wooden furniture legs from this company.There prices are very competitive and products exactly as they are advertised.Prompt delivery and well packed.They are happy to adjust or change an order if there is a genuine reason….

I ordered Custom Dynamics LED Fillerz for my motorcycle for NZ$608!The item arrived after 2 weeks as I live in New Zealand.The package was sent in a paper bag lined up with a single layer of bubble wrap so as a result, one of the LED lights was cracked.I contacted Ubuy and after 3 days, they organised a return.Now I have to wait 2 weeks for the item to return to them, and only then they will send me a new one, so another 2 weeks before i get my item. I've provided them with photos of the damaged item and I've returned it so why do i have to wait so long before getting a replacement? I'll never buy from Ubuy ever againTerrible company

Ive never had a problem until now its Just frustrating how I got changed over to this company. I decided to get a refund because I got what I ordered for my birthday instead. They said I could have a refund of $240 dollars. I waited 30 days which was May 16th. they said another month today is the day June 26 and now I just rang them they said July 28th. So frustrating I think I got scammed. Be careful.

Scamming POF just like everyone else have been trying to get a hold of somebody like anybody but nothing. Iv asked these people to stop coming to my mother place as her English isn't good and doesn't understand but they talk their s!!! Up and she falls for it. Undelivered item. Tried to visit a couple of addresses listed they're not even their bloody frauds taking people's hard earned money. I am trying to make contact as I want to know what exactly is my mother paying for and what the out standing balance is.They seem to only respond to good review. We're looking at getting legal advice maybe even fair go if that's stil a thing.

I have purchased an assortment of items from Ubuy over the last year from a cat harness to Mylar bags and have always received the same good standard of feedback and service. I am always surprised when the door opens and the courier delivers my Ubuy items so quickly. It has become my go to site regardless of the item I need.

This is ridiculously I have seen others go through the same predicament in regards of not receiving items and requesting a refund & been told that it will take Upto 30 working dates for the payment to be released. I have called and emailed numerous times and have not been dealt with. It’s been almost 6months now & still no explanation to why this has not been processed. The payments have been stopped and the bank has been notified. they are quick to take your money but refuse to refund it all, claiming that there may be a fee for cancellation and some other bs deducting at least $130. I had made 13 executive payments and I’m disappointed in this company & there excuses ! EXPLAIN

Looks like a scam website. Paid for two products through PayPal including postage. Transaction went through so UBuy has my money. The website indicates ‘payment incomplete’ which is a load of rubbish. I email but get no response. I message via WhatsApp and get what appears a standard message of apology. No tracking number, no acknowledgment of purchase so I have started recovery of my money via PayPal. Don’t trust this company. They are not trustworthy.

Hi Ubuy, thanks for the delivery which was on time. However the price of the product was $40 nzd more expensive than if I had brought directly from the supplier. So do your research on pricing before ordering from this web site.

Very fast prompt service, I was very well informed and updated on delivery times and the product was well packaged and exactly what I wanted. This is the second time I have used Ubuy and the operation is professional and consistent.Of interest, both packages I have ordered came from Kentucky, USA and arrived in 4 days from ordering. I also ordered a package that came from Christchurch, NZ at the same time and it took 4 days as well!!!

Was expecting several weeks for item to arrive (to NZ), but was only a week, so am super impressed! Item is exactly as described, although shipping was REALLY EXPENSIVE - regardless, all costs were disclosed upfront so I will definitely be shopping with you again. Thank you 🙂

Was slightly concerned going into this purchase being I didn't know about the company and was a high priced item ($4K+) but they answered their phones when I had questions and was sipped in good time and all tidy and packaged well. Would recommend
