Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 50.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to tvidler.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning tvidler.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between tvidler.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of tvidler.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of tvidler.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. tvidler.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether tvidler.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether tvidler.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

I saw the YouTube ad and thought this was a great product to have and so I scanned the QR code and it was a simple transaction with no hassle.
I thought I was ordering 1 item. When the invoice printed it showed many items at a cost of $154.79. I immediately called to cancel, and they said it was too late. They said I could return the package for a refund. I filled out the refund form and got an RMA number. I was told I could only return the package to Germany. The shipping cost would be over $100.00. The refund policy says I could request a refund, and you would immediately refund the purchase price. Please let me know what I need to do to get a refund. Sending it to Germany is not an option.Harold ScharaOrder #o087nm2(RMA) ID: 2bvxn
The site doesn’t provide you an invoice or purchase summary prior to payment via PayPal. No confirmation. So I didn’t know I was paying $9.95 for shipping of 1 ear cleaning tool. Not cool with that!
After a less than satisfactory buying experience, I had decided to let the matter slide. However, I received an email from Tvidler stating they were refunding my purchase in full! I had not asked for a full refund, only to refund a portion of my purchase that I was disputing. I was quite impressed by the sincerity of this company and have completely reversed my impression of them.
I'm not sure exactly what to say it was a pretty simple checkout process after I was able to find the small print that said no I don't want to purchase the additional items.
The only place I had difficulty was with paying. It wouldn’t allow me to use PayPal. Otherwise, the website was easy to navigate.
I had been waiting for your product to be something I can afford. A friend is suffering hearing loss and I hope this helps her. Outside of trying to sell me 7 or 8 more items, it was a pretty straightforward transaction.
I got a response from Tvidler wanting to "take the necessary actions to resolve it" and gave a support website address for me to go and input my information. Here's what I get when i put the url into my browser: "The page you are looking for doesn't exist." And of course I can't respond to it on my original review. Unbelievable!
Not a fan of all the bonus offers that pop up before you can order .
Ordering from the Tvidler site was super easy. It directed me where to click and helped me get exactly what I needed. I did not order any more or less than what I wanted. Thanks to them for an excellent experience.
genesis idea I have gotten cotton balls stuck in my ear a few and had to call emergency I couldn't hear and was dizzy they finally said I had a cottotn swab in my ear
well i did order in a rush , i did not know you are out of the usa . that is no problem products are made even better some timesover all was simple and i’m thrusting yoursite . sincerely M elena
Upon receiving my items, then I will be in a position to rate my experience.
This company is a scam. Do not order from them. They manipulate the ordering process to effect over ordering and charging. There is no response to complaints other than preprogrammed platitudes. Paypal should not serve as a vendor.
This was fairly easy and convenient and the product was intriguing.
BECAUSE ITWAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED .MY ERS KEEP GETTING WAX IN IT AND I CANT KEEP GOING TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE MAKING A BILL.
I used a YouTube link with my iPhone camera to look at the ear wax removal product. I tried to order just 1 item and used paypal to pay for the 1 item. The site kept making me click next, next, next, with each site naming the same product different ways. I never made it to the check out page, so I closed the account and tried to cancel any PayPal transactions. The companies site was so fast and deceptive. Two days later I received an order with 8 of the exact same products for a ridiculously high price of nearly 120 dollars. I immediately contacted the company, who responded quickly with nearly the sme form letter every other person that complained about then received. The overcharged and over ordered with out my express consent but somehow have a hack to get into your payment option. They refused to stop the order, then offered a no hassle 30 day return. But they wanted the return to go to Frankfurt Germany, through the USPS, when they send items from the midwest USA. It would cost nearly 150 dollars to send the items to Germany, out of my pocket. I immediately started multiple complaints with PayPal but PayPal decided Tvidler did everything right. So I'm out 120 $ for now for the 12 dollar item I tried to order. I'm not finished with Tvidler. Do not buy from them directly. Buy through Amazon. Tvidler.com isn't even a ligit site. Buyer beware, theives and scam artists!!! To top it off the product is a god awful torture device, built like a cork screw that has to be shoved into the ear canal. It's best to see an ENT and get the proper treatment.
Too many extra offers after I purchased. But buying was easy
Easy to order, personally I'd prefer other items not to be pushed on me.
Great time shopping on this amazing web site. I would tell more people about it.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

I ordered TWO online. You press "pay" - you cant check basket. The order urges you to verify details correct. I IMMEDIATELY emailed them. They first "couldnt find" my email address & order (tho theyd just SENT order confirmation TO that address) then said "it's already sent, too late!"So I'm expected to pay nearly £100, not the £35 I'd intended?! Credit card co to deal with it next wk. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

    1. Andy

Same shit happened to me. Ordered 4 and never got an invoice in my email. I even checked my spam folder. Spoke to someone who sent me the invoice. Found out on the phone with him when I looked at it that They charged me 59.99 for an extra set of 4 I didn’t order. The guy I spoke to said he could remove the 2nd order I never wanted. Then he emailed me the same shit, it’s already been packaged and bs. I went on the Website and said it’s still in the first stage of 7 when I checked with my email so it’s clearly not packaged because that’s the 4th stage. Shady sketch company. Definitely a scam. So after I went on their site to see how to return/ be refunded where they say 30 day money back guarantee it says product must be unused and unopened. That’s when I knew it was a scam. How can I get a 30 day money back guarantee if I can’t send the product back after trying it and not liking it because it’s out of the original packaging. Fuck tvidler SCAM SCAM SCAM

  2. Lesleith

I was interested in this product so I started searching for its inventor. I can’t find one. Lots of look alikes, so wondering if it’s patented. Then the name, TV-idler is one way of looking at it. am I just being too suspicious?

    1. Pepper14

No. Don’t fall for it. BIG SCAM. You were smart. Save your money.

  3. Helen Fox

I purchased one tvidler last week. After I had given my financial and residential details the “official” website then took me to another page with tvidler accessories asking if I wanted to purchase. I pressed no. It then took me to another page with other items for purchase from the website asking if I wanted to purchase. I pressed no. This happened a third time. These pages a full of bright lights and confusing information, looking more like the pokies at a casino. I should have twigged then. At the checkout, my order read that I had been charged for two extra tvidlers ($80) which I NEVER requested. I rang them straight away (US number) to let them know and to cancel the extra tvidlers. The automated phone message is horrible to start with. I had to leave a “call me back” message as you could be waiting forever. They phoned within a half hour and said they could cancel part of the order. I had to phone again to request a confirmation email which I received within the day saying my refund would be in my account in 3-5 days. It is now coming up to day 9 and I have no refund. I phoned again about this and they said they had no record of the cancelation of part of my order. I then received another email saying because the item had been shipped the order could not be canceled.  Maybe the tvidlers will work. I have yet to see if it arrives. Be aware of all the extra items they throw at you to buy only after they have your details. It’s dreadful. The customer service staff are very polite but the communication regarding sales is really unprofessional and suspicious.

    1. Pepper14

Yes I tried today to cancel my order. They were not friendly on the phone. They offered to give me 1/2 the total purchase even though they admitted they have no idea where their product is. Like who’d agree to that. They didn’t even have a tracking #. So I simply called to back today to stop payment. Bunch I’d scamming morons. Sad.

  4. John Graetz

I watched the presentation on YouTube in Australia. They said that this product had been invented by an Australian and was being manufactured in Australia. When clicking on the link to purchase, the information then states "Made right here in the USA". This makes the original claim very questionable. I have seen similar instances where some new invention was claimed to have been invented in the country where the advertisement is being viewed, then finding another presentation, in a different country, where the same claim is made of being invented in that particular country. This seems to be a very misleading statement which is being used to trick people into making a purchase based on "nationalistic pride". This alone makes me very wary of purchasing this product, particularly after seeing so many negative comments.

  5. David Rodgers

Based on personal experience avoid Tvidler !!! They pulled the scam described by others of overcharging by $170 AU then fudging all attempts to correct the charge or cancel the order.

  6. Otto

TVIDLER is a scam. I placed an order for half price product but when I hit the confirm order button it automatically added a second product. After I placed the order I contacted them the next day, less than 24 hour later to cancel the order because there was no way online to do so. They replied that it had already been shipped out and I would have to wait to receive it and then return it. The return process was complicated and almost impossible and they wanted me to ship it to Lithuania from the US which would have cost half the amount of the total order. finally after over an hour of contacting them and three different phone calls they agreed to refund me 50% of what I paid (not including the shipping) BUT THEN THEY NEVER GAVE ME THE MONEY!

  7. Todd Ponstein

Ordered 1 Ear Cleaner, but got charged for 4. When they finally arrived I tried one, but found it to be nothing more than a glorified Q-tip. Figuring out how to return them was a laborious process that came with a 15% restocking fee. On top of that I had to send them to Lithuania! Which cost an additional $26. Who knows if I'll ever receive back my original payment of $80. Avoid this company like the plague. They are nothing more than a marketing scam.

    1. Vicky Stow

They probably won't refund your money because you tried it and didn't send it back in unopened condition.

    2. Richard

Same exact thing happend to me yesterday. I ordered one, after entering payment information and completing order, the invoice suddenly showed 4 additional units. I contacted the online chat instantly and was told it was too late to change. I said just cancel the order completely and refund the money. No, they wouldn't do that like every other LEGITIMATE online seller would do. I knew I was in trouble at that point. Have to wait and see if I get anything and if I have any success returning the unwanted items. PAYPAL was no help at all. SCAM SCAM SCAM

    3. Jan

So true. Wish there was more we could do!

  8. Vicky Stow

I wish I would have looked this up before I bought the product. It did not work and then because I had opened and tried it, they wouldn't take it back and refund my payment. Terrible company, total scam.

  9. Pepper14

OK so I ordered two from this company and they never sent the confirmation tracking number as promised in their text or even in an email. When I purchased these they charged that very day and when I called two weeks later they could not give me a tracking number, all they said was my package is in the USA somewhere they did not know where and they told me it would probably be to me in 30 more days. if it’s here in the USA it shouldn’t take 30 days to get to me in California so i asked for a refund and they wanted to just offer me $25 instead of my $ 54 that I paid and when I said no they did not want to help me at all. Definitely sounds like a scam here so I came home tonight and called the bank to stop payment on the order and they don’t know where it is. If that is not a red flag I don’t know what it is I would say DO NOT purchase anything for this company it sounds like a big red flag. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

  10. jack tittman

This company is a fake. they change the order and charge you more money. Basically, they steal. do not do business with them

  11. Janet

I ordered on December 23, 2021. I have not received the item and keep getting the run around. Was told today that the item was in Jamica, Jamica USA on February 6. 2022. It is now March 7. 2022. And can someone tell me where Jamica, Jamica USA is?

  12. Jan

Tvider is a scam. I read several other reviews who had the same experience as I did. You think you are buying one product and suddenly you end up purchasing four without asking. Every attempt to contact someone to help, has either been with no response or for example on chat - when asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told no one was available. When I said I would wait, they said no supervisor would be in that day. When I said when will they be in, they said chat back in in two days after 10pm. That was a Sunday night at 10pm. What? Then trying to send the product back is still another nightmare. They ship through OnTrac so when you want to return to sender, you cant, even on a non-opened package Ontrac needs permission from Tvider to send an item back, and then, you have to send it to Lithuania. Do you know how much it cost to send a package to Lithuania? It came to me from the same state I live in. Also, you not only pay for the return but also a 15% restocking fee. That adds up to be close to the same amount I paid for it. I assume many others just give up. NOt sure what to do at this point. They are not helpful and reports say the product does not work. However, they have almost every site covered with what you think are good reviews but at the end of the page there is a place to order one. You wont get one, you will likely end up paying for four.

  13. Milar

Tvidler is a scam. If you place an order for 1 they charge you for 4. Even if you want to report the error within a minute, your order is already processed and cannot be adjusted/modified neither canceled. You will receive your order from Lithuania. If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it within 30 days, but you need first to speak with a customer agent. Then send it back to Lithuania. As they processed you order, the refund will be deducted with a 15% processing fee from your total order. Basically it will cost you as much money if not more between the 15% processing fee and the mail return. The customer service cannot transfer to a manager your call. They just send e-mails to escalation team or other. For that they are creative. At that point you increased their Revenue and you lost money. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

  14. Nancy

This is definitely a scam. I purchased one and they charged me for 4. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

    1. oscar arcala

SCAM, I ordered one and they sent and charged me for 4 as soon as they got my payment info...BEWARE.

  15. V Norton

Scam alert! I ordered two of these totaling around $50. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. This product did absolutely nothing. I was glad there was a money back guarantee....or so I THOUGHT. After contacting them and filling out their forms, I was told: 1. I can only return ONE of the packages, because you can only return unopened packages "for sanitary reasons". What?! How are you supposed to know if it works without opening it?? 2. They take a 15% reprocessing fee 3. You have to pay to ship it back to them 4. The return shipping address is in LITHUANIA!!

    1. Kim Weller

TVIDLER IS A SCAM! I ordered one. Only one. I was charged for and received 4, plus two packages of tip refills plus an extra handle. I called to set up the return. Went through the steps to return. The UPS Store told me it was over $115.00US to return it to LITHUANIA!!!!! My credit would have only been $89.95! Why spend $115 to send it back just to get return credit of $89.95? They still were insistent on charging me the 15% restock fee. None are opened, in fact they are int he same package I received them in. I refuse to pay 15% restock fee on items I DID NOT ORDER! DO NOT ORDER THIS! Not only does it NOT work as they advertise but it's a pure outright SCAM! I told them I was plastering this review all over the internet and hope they never sell another one in the US! They charge you for items you never ordered and know you won't spend the money to return them to LITHUANIA as it costs you as much to send them back as to get the credit back you want!

  16. Bill Kay
