I first subscribed to Sunday Ticket in may of 2023. The TV picture froze every few seconds. After talking to 6 YouTube techs without success, I tried to cancel my subscription. Could not do it any way. Now the are renewing the charge and I still can't find a way to cancel,even with the tutorials. No telephone number also. Worst website and customer service ever. Had to tell my credit card company to deny payment. Probably will have to do that again next year.
We cannot remove shows we have watched. We also get all kinds of junk recommendations that make it hard to find things we have recorded. There should be a "trash" option to get rid of unwanted shows in the "Library" section. The subscriber should determine what is on the personal You-tube site.
Youtube TV requires you sign in from your home location on some periodicity. My IP provider (Brightspeed) uses roving IP locations none of which are my home address. Youtube TV locks me out because I have not logged in from my home address. They can fix this problem for an extra $50
i enjoy watching you tube tv. and the channels they offer. i watch every day. my only problem with this network is the commercials, from morning till night, all you see is depressing, negative, constant pharmaceutical company's. it never stops. i would love to see something much more positive on a daily, rather than.

I switched to YouTube TV and save about $600 a year. I've had it for about 6 months now. It's great. I don't watch much traditional television, ironically because I watch mostly YouTube, but the picture quality is much better than Armstrong cable (1080 vs 720) and I can watch TV and DVR shows from my phone.
Movie ads are 3 minutes long and too often (a 1.45 hour movie has 24 minutes of ads). The library is the best part for saving recordings. So, 3 stars is a balance of negative and positive. Another negative is the subscription price, but positive because nothing cheaper is better (for now).
I hate there is not a 800 number live agent to speak with this company been around long enough and should have an agent to speak with. I accidentally selected 4k and I can not remove it my plan went from 64.00 to 70.00 now it is 90.00 dollars and I want to downgrade but I tried all of the prompts and no success .If you are an elderly person and not computer savvy this is not for you.I was with Comcast for 13 years and it got to 400 a month for limited channels so I was very excited to get yttv for 64 dollars but I'm considering leaving yttv because I need an agent
I have been a long time customer of youtubetv. (since it started) I thought I had ordered NFL Sunday ticket, but it did not show up on my account (I thought it would be billed on my next statement.) When I didn't see the charge, I checked my bank account and it wasn't deducted from their either. I contacted customer support (for the first time) and explained the situation. There was a $100 off promo if you ordered NFL Sunday Ticket by May 16. It was my error, I should have verified sooner, but they were not even willing to assist with giving me the $100 off. Just "NO". Very disappointing that a business treats long-term customers this way.
Expensive but so much better than Hulu Live Tv and any cable option out there, selection of channels is good. No lag or buffering. No obnoxious volume issues like Hulu.
Despite cancelling 20 days into a 30 day trial, youtube charged $79.01 to my bank card. Instead of being able to call & discuss the issue, you tube offers no meaning- ful help or support that works. Numerous dead ends & loops that take you nowhere. I tried for hours just to send an email, start a chat or request a callback, to no avail. I was considering a move from cable to you tube, but after my experience, My advice is choose ANYTHING BUT you tube tv!!

Love the streaming service but account billing is horrible. My husband and I thought we signed up with family sharing and instead we had two accounts (based on our email). We were double billed for the same tv address for over a year and they will only refund three months. That is ROBBERY. We feel so taken advantaged of.

I have youtube tv and it works quite well, but my mom has it and she can't get it to work on one of her tvs. If you are not tech savvy I recommend that you go with another service. She has a new Sony tv and we were using a Roku usb stick. It used to work but now we have been stuck on an endless loop of a requirement to go through a trial period. She has had a paying account for a while and both of her tvs used to work. There is no customer service that works.

I have a cut and paste I can send anyone who wants to see it of the transcript conversation with their customer service. Long story short, they canceled my subscription without letting me know, then reinstated it the same day without the nfl red zone channel. They said they see that I had it before and had paid for it, but said my subscription was reinstated without it and the only way I could get the channel back was by paying for it as second time.
NO customer service whatsoever! NONE! YT TV has pulled money out of my account for the last time. When Google makes the decision to give YouTube TV customers genuine help when we need troubleshooting....... then I will reconsider subscribing again. Apple, Adobe and Curiosity Streaming...... they all provide genuine customer service. YOUtube TV provides no customer support. I have to troubleshoot it myself or go to links or community discussions. Are you kidding? And the thing that angers me most is that you know you are doing this. You are sounding so polite and accommodating and yet the entire time...... you know you are not providing customer support.

40 second long ad breaks, watching a video with over 500k views is basically impossible without clicking out and clicking back in to avoid the common 30+ second ads. Don't do it don't subscribe to YouTube I did the free trial decided it wasn't for me canceled my subscription and they continued to charge me. You can't get anybody on the phone at YouTube. “Amount of Commercials is Ridiculous!”
The amount of on-demand commercials is truly ridiculous. They are 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes long. If you missed something by 10 seconds and want to go back and look at it, and happen to go into the commercial zone again, it makes you watch them all over again. Commercials start before you even start watching, then more a few minutes in and more after a small few second break. The commercials are very long and repeat the same ones over and over. YouTube TV is new, and they've hit the market with a bang. I thought I'd give them a try, as I was dying to get rid of another streaming company. Once I started using it, it was a no-brainer. You get what you see, with an easy-to-use-and-understand interface, the ability to add shows to your library, and the option to have those shows DVR'd. PROS: Family Is Invited! Up to five family members with a Google account can be invited, no extra cost. They then have private access to their own viewings, lineup, recordings, etc. Live and On-Demand, DVR, ability to watch a network show right after it's aired. Pausing live? Priceless. Fast forwarding, rewinding, and pausing is available for on demand and live shows. Clean, user-friendly interface. CONS: No Comedy Central. So many obscure sports networks to get past; it almost feels as though there are as many of those channels as there are regular ones. I'm also 99% sure this is a common issue with all streaming services.

I called customer service to try and avoid getting my service paused. I knew my payment was going to be late, and I was informed that I had until the next day. I got home from work that evening, then was watching my favorite show, which I had recorded and guess what? They shut me off right in the middle of the show! “No paying bill option”
There is no option to pay bill. I get the reoccurring payment process, but I do keep my cards locked due to a identity theft. Youtubetv will charge your card early in the morning hours. I unlock my cards at 8 am every morning when I know I have a payment due. Why do they charge your card at 3,4 and 5 am in the morning when most people are not awake. Youtubetv or any businesses should not be allowed to charge your card at that hour. Anyway, I went to pay the bill so it would not get disconnected but there is no option to pay. All it says is update payment method. That's is not the problem. I just wanted to pay the damn bill. I had a RUDE representative tell me that I only need to update my payment method and that's it. Ask I try to tell him that is not the problem I just want to pay the bill. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he tells me I didn't need to talk to him. I asked why not, what are you hiding? He told me that he doesn't have to tell me. I told him switch me to the customer survey he then hung up on me. At the beginning of the call I was told I could take the survey on customer service, but never got the chance since he hung up. This company is hiding something and is rude. “Overpriced & technically flawed”
First of all be aware that YouTube TV has no customer service should you encounter a problem… AND you WILL encounter problems! When they update, it messes with the viewing area and it's almost impossible to fix it. This last time I could NOT fix the problem and had to cancel. Right after getting this service a worker who sounded eastern stole my debit card info when I called in for help and they made 2 purchases I was told a supervisor would call me to make it right. We were misled. Even though you add a person on family sharing, you can ONLY use the person's email who initially subscribed to the account.
