It’s a s c a m. No refunds if you don’t find a tutor. Their line is no refunds payable if one tutor can accomodate you. There’s no time limit however so they can just keep sending you tutors and not return your money. They also take the first two lessons of the tutors fees so tutors work for free. I loved my first experience of tutoring with Sandi, thank you for the visibility you gave to me and how you handled our first exchange together. We have decided to pursue together. I just wish you will take a fee on the first payment instead of the full payment because if the student can't pursue it means that the tutor works for free.

My good friend found a tutor in his city, Siem Reap. He wasn’t happy. I sat in on a lesson. Dreadful tutor, just talked about their medical and teaching experience. So unhelpful. Now I have to teach him myself, thanks for nothing.

Let me reveal of this worst tutor website I had ever deal. The teacher got force to teach for 4 class free (they extra charge on top of the teacher rate to students (per hour) and also took all 4 classes payment from students means... teacher got force to teach free for 4 class otherwise website ll paused the tutor profile. And to get claim 50% of the tuition fees in case student cancel or not continue the class, It's took over 10+ months to get claim on that money. They will pay you through PayPal and will deduct fees from you too. Too bored of this mistreated. (Until now, I still not get my refund money T.T )

I got my Spanish tutor through tutoroo. While my Spanish tutor was great, they are a really bad, dishonest, company, and I cannot recommend them.Due to their unclear pricing and payment method, I ended up overpaying. After follow-ups from me and my tutor, Tutoroo agreed that they should refund the overpaid amount. But they never did. Mutliple attempts to get them to refund the overpaid amount, by both me and my tutor, have resulted at most in messages from them to say that they will follow up with the accounts department. The money never arrives. Looking at the other reviews here, this seems to be a modus operandi for tutoroo.By contrast, when they wanted my money, and to lock my business down, they were only too keen to keep following up with messages.They also use software to detect when someone is sharing a phone number. This is overly sensitive, and results in messages without any such information being deleted, and needing to be restored by tutoroo.A really dishonest company that will take your money when it's not theirs, and waste your time. I'd avoid if I were you.

Students start their first trial class and then postpone next class, postpone again and finally disappear before you get your first actual payment, and it is already months after the first chat so you don’t receive 50% of the first “2 weeks” of classes. Basically just gave several free classes to several people over few years.

I am writing a review of my Vietnamese teacher Yen. I have had Vietnamese lessons with Yen for about two months. She is a really outstanding teacher. She understands that each student has different ways of learning, and can adapt accordingly. She has a deep understanding of language, and knows that some things cannot be translated directly into another language. This makes her very skilled in teaching. Yen is also very friendly with a great sense of humour, which makes learning a pleasure.

Have thoroughly enjoyed learning from Mayumi, she is able to give me understanding and insights of the Japanese language. I look forward to learning more from you.

Moreover, the lessons are set at 60 minutes each, which can be quite exhausting when you have back-to-back sessions. This duration is longer than most other platforms, which typically offer 50 or 25-minute lessons, allowing teachers a bit of downtime between classes.----edit: what does it mean they're flexible? They are one hour!!!!!

I highly recommend my French tutor Celine Samarani from Lebanon. Celine is an incredibily nice person who possesess great patience. With her guidance I was able to comprehend everything she taught me and she instilled in me a love for the French language. Initially, I had planned to take a few lessons with her but now I am motivated to continue preserving and improving my French skills.I urge anyone interested in learning french to join her courses.

I found Tutoroo through an advert for teachers in my home city and paid in advance for lessons. I quickly found out there was only one tutor teaching my language of choice in my city and they weren’t available. I asked if I could have a refund within a few days of my purchase as the service I requested wasn’t available. Tutoroo refused a refund and then stopped responding to me because online lessons were available to me, despite this not being the service that I was looking for. Disappointing that the company would advertise a service and then refuse to provide a refund when it wasn’t available.

Fantastic Arabic Tutor!Maya is an amazing Arabic tutor! Learning with her has been fun and easy. She teach in a cool way. Lessons are interesting and not boring. Maya is patient and nice, which makes me feel good about learning. From fourth lessons I can have conversation. If you want to learn Arabic, you should pick Maya!

Good list of tutors but many were really expensive. Tutoroo tried to hook me up with other candidates when my preferred one didn't work out. And I finally found a good one. However, the pricing set up was not clear. Had to pay an upfront fee to Tutoroo then it's up to you and the tutor to work out a deal. I ended up paying way more than the tutor's listed hourly price partly based on a suggestion from Tutoroo and some confusion it caused between all parties. Overall not a smooth process.

Andres makes your company great! He is so kind and compassionate and so patient. All are very desirable qualities in a teacher especially when as an adult, one is absorbing new words, grammar, etc. He makes the learning fun and our conversations are growing in depth and meaning.
