We've been so happy with the puppy kindergarten classes we’ve been taking with True Companions! Our pup - like many - is full of energy and excitement, very mouthy, bouncy, cautious and inquisitive, and at times too smart for her own good. Paige brings a positive, supportive training approach which feels safe and fun for our pup. Rather than following a prescribed format, she has tailored each session to fit our pup’s specific needs, making sure she stays engaged and is successful in her learning. While our pup still has a long way to go with impulse control, Paige's guidance and reassurance have been game-changers. We’ve already seen big improvements in our pup's behavior (and in our own leadership) and feel we now have most of the tools we need to help her through her adolescent years. Bonus - we know that Paige will be here to help us problem solve as things come up down the road, as they inevitably do. We highly recommend Paige and True Companions!

Paige is an expert dog trainer who offered me so much support and guidance when training our new Frenchie puppy. Our dog responded so well to her and her positive reinforcement training methods, and I really appreciated all her tips and practical advice. I felt like I could ask her anything and she was able to help with it all!

Paige spent an hour with our barking unruly dog and had her fetching and sitting silently and obeying commands in a single session. She clearly loves dogs, and has a lot of knowledge and experience in training them. We were amazed at the progress. Highly recommended.

She communicates before the appointment and follows up afterward, sending materials related to our time together. We also like not being locked into a package plan and going at our own pace with sessions.

The first day Paige met with our German Shepherd, Leo, she was able to identify with him and his personality. While others were intimidated and scared… she recognized that he was actually the scared one! Paige is absolutely amazing!We have had multiple positive reinforcement training sessions with Paige for our 7 month old male Bernese mountain dog. Paige has figured Goose out and what can work for him as well as our leadership towards him! She is professional, knowledgeable and fun to spend an hour with. Paige worked with my dog to calm her and by the time she left Lizzie was very comfortable and calm. She gave my very good tips on how to introduce her slowly to new situations so she doesn’t display negative behavior!

Paige at True Companions has really made a huge impact on our life, and the health and happiness of our dog Daisy. Through the guidance, advice, and training with Paige, our dog Daisy has gone from a pup who was afraid of her own shadow and believed every house guest was there to harm her, to one who greets people with enthusiasm and asks for belly rubs. We had tried several trainers/methods of training prior to True Companions in the past, but none of them truly made Daisy less fearful. We’ve recently engaged True Companions to help us teach our 4 month old puppy some manners. As expected, we are getting excellent results!

Paige is wonderful, she is calm and gentle. Explains training process in easy to understand terms, she is great at assessing human behaviors as well as how our dogs responded. Makes adjustments as needed. Both humans and dogs look forward to her visits. Made lots of progress during kindergarten class.

Paige is an incredible trainer. My ten year old terrier was having behavioral issues. Paige came to my house to observe and give suggestions. Paige of True Companions Dog Training is a treasure. Her gentle, quiet spirit is soothing to my puppy AND ME!
