Easy online service. However fees were not truthfully disclosed until a full week to 10 days later at final loan docs. I had other financing cheaper and chose to go with Trident due to not requiring and inspection thinking it would be faster. But it was a long drawn out process and essentially cost me double in fees.

Difficult to communicate directly with staff; difficult to have questions answered in a timely fashion; often times, various staff seemed to not know what others were doing / had done with the file and so duplicate requests for information would be made. However, the document preparation went well and made remotely closing fairly convenient.

There were multiple errors in the paperwork. When I attempted to call in to discuss them, I was told the person processing the documents would call me the next morning. But then she said just send her an email. Apparently she couldn’t be bothered to read my email, as the errors were not corrected. It was really difficult to get her to pay attention to me, and the supporting documents. I was very frustrated. Today I had to get my license application notarized AGAIN because she misspelled my name and I didn’t catch it the first time. The DMV in Washington caught it.

Trident Funding made the process extremely easy, focused and resulted oriented. Of all the loans I have done, this was probably the easiest and best commutative I have ever seen. They were on track to closing and the end rate was lower than I expected. The agents all knew their role, had clear and direct answers and worked together to closing. I highly recommend them
