What does "Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial." mean? Well, this is a business that's been online for quite some time, but with a few hiccups. Understand The Review
The Scam Detector algorithm aggregated factors that looked at the company's website in particular, in this case traveluro.com. When we analyze websites, we try to find details that reveal key information about the professionalism of a business - e.g., poor customer service, how they sell, etc. For instance, if we look at a restaurant's website, we don't rate how tasty the food is, but rather how they sell it online (overcharges, deliveries, etc).
Our validator is not a vanity tool, so if you're the manager or the owner of traveluro.com and you're not happy with the 54.00 ranking, keep in mind that your website reflects your business. It definitely needs certain improvements. It could be anything from the HTTPS connection to the online management system. On the other hand, it could be your public reviews, which are impactful.

Seriously, DO NOT use TraveluroIn follow-up to my previous review regarding a billing discrepancy; Traveluro is giving me the run around. In addition, they are trying to bribe me with a partial refund if I'll change my review on this site. "If you change the rating on TrustPilot then we can refund you 'XXXX' USD." First it's that the hotel receipt (itemized nightly) wasn't supposed to go to me b/c it showed the amount paid by them and not by me. Next they claim that the discrepancy is due to the sales tax. This is broken down by the hotel's itemized receipt. Next they tell me that it's not possible for them to provide an itemized nightly receipt breaking down the rate, taxes, and fees but they'll resend me the original receipt (b/c I clearly don't understand it's intended flat amount and taxes). Finally, for a second time during all of this, they let me know that they will refund X amount if I change my review on Trustpilot. This is only a portion of the amount I was overcharged. This company is a joke. Do not use them.
Not a real siteNot a real site, don’t know how trivago allow them to be linked. Got to hotel and no booking at all, money out of my account though. Called them, on hold for 50 minutes and passed around to multiple people.
I received a call in regards to my…I received a call in regards to my previous email not receiving any confirmation email the next morning after I booked the hotel. I was sent a confirmation email immediately and advised it was just a glitch in the email delivery that was being resolved. It was very reassuring to get the personal phone call as well of immediate email. I am updating my experience to 5 stars, I was very pleased with the price and the outcome. I will definitely use again and highly recommend.
