traveloka.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives traveloka.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 88.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 88.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to traveloka.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning traveloka.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between traveloka.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of traveloka.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of traveloka.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. traveloka.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether traveloka.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether traveloka.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, traveloka.com.

Have now cancelled flights - doubtful the money will actually be refunded but staying positive about that. Was charged $161 for cancelling even though it said refundable. Do not book with this company. Took 5 days of chatting and they still couldn’t link the flights in the app. Ridiculous
Never ever book a flight here, because they don’t refund just in case, they kept on saying its the airline and they are are chasing them and you need to wait for 90days. I waited for 90 days and its been months now, I called the airline today August 27,2024, the airline told me it was refunded long time ago and try to call traveloka. I did chat them thru app, and they kepy saying, the team is handling this matter and please be willing to wait. If I won’t get my refund here I will file a formal complaint as they kept blaming the airline but its on they're end.
When you book a flight I will give you a suggestion do not use traveloka as in case of adjusting or rescheduling the date they will charge 5x the original amount hence please book your flight tickets from the airline website
NEVER NEVER NEVER USE TRAVELOKA. One star way too much wish I could give negative star. I was trying to secure accommodation at one particular place & there was only one left. I put my faith into Traveloka & booked the place through them. Almost instantaneously I go a text message & email from them they were unable to secure my book due to a system error but when I checked into my bank account they had taken out the funds. I contacted them straight away via email to find out what was going on & somebody called me & asked if I still wanted the accommodation to which I replied yes without realising they expected me to book & pay again which I was not prepared to do. When I requested an immediate refund they advised it would take 3-5 business days but I did not want to wait that long as I was wanting to secure the accommodation I was after but needed the funds returned so I could rebook. I will never use this company again as they are very unprofessional & even Consumer Affairs advised they had breached section 36 of the Australian Consumer Law by taking funds & not providing the goods.
I bouth 2 trein tikets for a trip in Japan with Visa card and when the order was paid I got a mail "this kind of Visa is not valid " I try again with another Visa and after paying I got an e mail "this Visa card is not valid we will refund your money" . In fact the money was refund I found another platform where I bought the tikets without any inconvenient with the same Visa card....
I was so disappointed with Traveloka because I had a trip from Melbourne to Auckland. I took the flight with Traveloka because my sister said that Traveloka is good and the price was cheap. So I checked out the payment and that was the worst decision. The payment had a problem, unavailable payment with credit card, and occurs an error from the app. The app crashed and I had to repeat the transaction again. Since the credit card payment was not available, I borrowed my sister's local bank to complete the payment. I hope Traveloka can improve the system and payment.
Just joined the scammed people team. I booked flights for December. But the ticket have been issued for November with the same dates. It is impossible to do that mistake during the booking as the month is fully written at many places on the website and on each steps. Also the flight was mentionned as reschedulable during the booking but of course when I try I can't reschedule (out of policy) and the refund will be in 2 month at 30% of te initial flight. They don't assume the bug and I will just lose the money. How is it possible to leave such a dodgy website online???
The User Interface, User Experience and their services is very very bad especially for flight booking. I used to book my flights based on my urgent occasion but due to their poor user flow I got some missed information from the airline, I booked Batik Air from Lion Air Group anyway. I decide to NEVER use these platform and airline again. Because they will not listen to customer experience from their product issues to enhance the system better. BETTER CHOOSE TIKETCOMM AND ALSO GARUDA GROUP or AIRASIA / PELITA AIR. Bye Traveloka and Lion Group! 👋🏻
In the process of searching they will change the currency from Vietnamese ding to Rp so it looks cheap. Now I thought i buy a ticket for 11$ but i got charged 23$ now ... this is a scam and i will fight back my money and never use this sh*** again.
I cannot explain how incredibly annoying and deceitful this travel agency is. They give you a price for the flight and then when you proceed to payment they suddenly double the price? There is no valid reason how a flight could increase in such a short amount of time, and this isn’t a one time occurrence either. DO NOT RECOMMEND👎👎👎
Payment failed everytime , and then try with other card this time payment debited bank side but failed in traveloka side again, still waiting for refund and raised dispute. Let see..
No, just No. Yesterday was the first and will be the last time I use Traveloka because of the customer service's bad customer service and systems. How can you imagine that I pay $800 from Seoul to Bali with a glamor airlines like Garuda Indonesia but the systems in Traveloka really bad ? They didn't give us a customer guide and just experience just by ourselves. Why don't you give an explanation, customer service ? And then I booked a hotel in Bali and the picture shown in Traveloka was fake. I feel cheated by using this platform. Goodbye.
I could rely on Traveloka back when I was attending a class in Jakarta, Indonesia. I flew from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta to attend an Islamic lecture from Ust. Adi Hidayat in order to strenghten my islamic knowledge. He has been Malaysian number one priest and I admired him so much that is why I flew with Traveloka. However, I got a bad experience with the service Traveloka had because they did not notified about my next flight to back to Malaysia, but luckily I got the plane so I'll just give Traveloka 4 stars.
This is the very first time I used Traveloka and I chose to neutral, because it does offers a lot of cheap ticket prices, like the one I bought when I travelled from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Bangkok, Thailand. But, there are a lot of things to improve so Traveloka could be my main travel app. For example, there was no clear baggage policy when I booked a flight. And the price of additional baggage was expensive too, It's like 80% of ticket's price. If Traveloka want to gain more customers, I think they should provide an airlines that give a cheap additional baggage policy.
They provide one price, and then on the final stage before paying you recieve a popup that the price has ncreased. Im sure many of these small travel sites do it but this specificed experince has got me frsutrated to the point that im leaving a review. bored of feeling like im being taken for a ride by faceless companies
Utterly displeased with the lack of resolution and incompetence by their customer service team.My mother and I purchased tickets to Sri Lanka last year in December. Due to a flight reschedulement on our return flight, we proceeded with a refund request and were well informed about the 90 day process. It's been months now and we were notified by Traveloka that the refund has been processed into my mum's card that was used for payment. Now get this: we used a DEBIT card and not a CREDIT card. Informed them about it and gave the necessary bank account details for a smooth refund procedure. We checked with the bank and guess what, NO refund was received yet. Emailed them again cause their customer care hotline is temporarily unavailable (how blooming convenient!) to query and received the same song by different representatives asserting that the refund was processed in June to us. Raised this to them and they still stress that the refund was processed to us as per clarification from their payment/finance team. So please tell me where did the refund go cause till date, my mum received nothing! A complete of waste of time and lack of resolution
Bad ticket booking website.Technical faulty!I lost money.Never use it anymore!!!
On 24 August 2024, I took a flight from Lisbon to Madrid to watch the Laliga match between Real Madrid against Real Valladolid. My friend suggested me to use Traveloka because it has a cheap flight price and you can also rent a hotel near the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. I am happy that Real Madrid won 3-0 and Endrick, an 18-year-old boy from Brazil who making his debut on Laliga scored a beautiful goal. It feels like my whole trip was not in vain and thanks to Traveloka I was able to experience the moment when our youngster scored in his home stadium. So far, I would give Traveloka's service 4 stars because it was my first time, but I'll definitely fly with Traveloka again and maybe we'll get a 5 stars by the next trip, I guess.
As a Singaporean, to be honest Traveloka offers a variety of services that seems good, including flight ticket, hotel, and other entertainment. I once travelled from Singapore to Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The flight only took 1 hour with a great airlines AirAsia. But, I got a problem where I booked a hotel in Traveloka. The reviews on the app shows good rating, 8 out of 10 but in reality the hotel was so bad. The hotel staffs did not hospitable, and the room was messed as if they didn't clean the room before I entered the room. Please, take care of the fake reviews in the app especially in the hotel, I feel scammed by the good reputation of hotel in the app.
Traveloka, a terrible app that had a good review from my friends. They said that Traveloka is the best travel app if you go to Southeast Asia, but I don't think so. Because, I've experienced a lot of bad things in Traveloka. Three days ago I booked a flight from Beijing to Singapore, and it was a disaster. The flight schedule suddenly changed and Traveloka didn't notify me, so I arrived in the airport 4 hours before the plane even flew. This event already makes me feel a bad day about it. Please, let us know if there is a change in the flight.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
